  1. I'd rather just build for def, plow through regular missions and tips, and be more impressed by costumes and bios, but that's just me.
  2. DP/Dark with Stealth and Infiltration. Be the pulp hero you were meant to be! And DP is a great set if you want to blap too!

    Aim vs Tactics

I've been thinking on a respec of my Rad/Atomic, since she makes a better Captain Atom analogue if she's flying instead of doing the speedster thing. While I was working on that, I started thinking on swapping Aim for Tactics. Against AVs and GMs, I'll alternate between using Aim and Ionize before the snipe in her chain but otherwise I rarely use Aim. Tactics would give her a base 20% to hit bonus over her 6% now, I was wondering if it was worth it for more efficient quick form snipes or if I just should be using Aim more often.
  4. I liked it so much I bought the company- er- made it the primary set on my main alt. Seriously, though, a quick DoT for a snipe that can take the Achilles proc and sound like you're firing on a Klingon cruiser? I'll take that trade!
  5. Or anyone with power-boosted Farsight, but yeah. I'd rather build for def and eat the occasional purple and green skittle than have to depend on a tray full of greens.
  6. Its Combat Jumping but with a bit of stealth as well.
  7. What @Greycat said. I've have plenty of characters and more than a few 50s, but most of my playtime right now is with Actionette. She hit a sweet spot of playful personality and bowling ball blapper playstyle. I've tried going back to melees and even a proc-troller, but they don't have the speed and activity I get out of a blaster. Arresting villains at the speed of whee, as I've heard it said once. 😄 (Which is why the next project is re-inventing Phantom Lass as a DP/Dark blaster with Tele and Concealment. The bitter fruit of crime needs a weedin'.)
  8. You're not wrong. I'll fire up the @Hyperstrike signal...
  9. Hence my SOP for shoving the chest slider all the way to the left on my superheroines. Fixing that perma-wedgie would be nice too.
  10. I was testing out a DP/Dark blaster with Concealment and Teleport on Brsinstorm this morning. (Quick, name the build inspiration!) Dark Pit followed by CT, Soul Drain, and Hail of Bullets is really really good. I might see about CT's feasibility with chasing runners next, I can see a use there.
  11. No, they probably see you as a drama llama spouting bad ideas for attention. And now I do too. Please go outside.
  12. Mace Mastery, but yes. If you want to blap, typed defense is usually the way to go. Mace and Ice will get you to 45 easier.
  13. By that token, playing the game is against the content guidelines as long as drops are random. I'm gambling my time for the chance of a big pay out in a purple or PvP drop. That's it, game's illegal. Was nice knowing everyone!
  14. Depends on who I'm playing. My blaster is always ready to go but everyone else gets stuck with weak attacks and P2W filler that makes exemplaring less enjoyable, so they usually stay at 50.
  15. You could always force them to run Twinsho.... ahahahahahahaha. Hooboy. That was a good one, I tell you.
  16. Have you considered advertising and running low level content for them? All I ever see on LFG for pre-Posi lowbies is DFB and farms.
  17. If its the oberst, that didn't happen. Eddie was in a different cave room.
  18. It took me a good while after the game's closing to realize there were issues with the in-game balance of power. You need a task force to take down a hero / archvillain. Wait, no, they're also EBs and can be solo'd. No, wait, now you need a league full of incarnates! Though, you could chalk it up to Choose Your Own Adventure and that's actually a neat idea.
  19. The story had its moments, running One Good Spider the first time remains a top MMO memory. But the story writing by and large? Hooboy... All these alternate universes and even historical Cimerora and they all had knockoffs of the Freedom Phalanx. A little originality, maybe? Paragon finally deciding to make an actual main storyline... starting in one of those previous alternate universes, then moving to where a C-list villain whacks the game's iconic hero and fridges another, and then said iconic hero would be replaced by the textbook definition of Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely. From the same alternate universe. If I want good storytelling, well, I still play FFXIV. City had some really good world building and it had it's moments, but honestly they got too cute like current day WoW.
  20. "How do you do, fellow strategical gamers?"
