Kinda pointless but maybe fun suggestion
biostem replied to Communistpenguin's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I would love to have various triggers for costume changes - >75% health, 74%-50%, 49%-25%, <25%, while not in combat but a travel power is active, while in combat, and so on... -
I haven't noticed that.

The -tohit would certainly help regen with survivability. I think there are better armor sets to pair with it, but if you are set on regen, then by all means play what makes you happy!
-
Is there anything in particular you are looking to get out of this character? Any themes or concepts you are looking to realize? My first instinct is to say pair it with a defense-heavy set, since the -tohit would aid that, and it having a heal would pair nicely with an armor set that lacks one. That being said, you could go the other route and go with something like radiation armor, where you'll have plenty of endurance and healing to work with, and can instead leverage the extra AoEs and +dmg +tohit to maximize your DPS...

Reject Invention salvage option at P2W vendor
biostem replied to -Kobi-'s topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I doubt everyone would do this, and even if they did, the seeded common salvage cap isn't that high. Or they could use the AE option to buy common salvage - it's random, but it only costs 8 tickets a go, and you can even select the level range you want. I think it's more that they seeded the salvage to avoid player exploitation. Not necessarily - see the above option to buy common salvage from the AE vendor. -
No set bonuses check box on TF and Ouro arcs
biostem replied to 0th Power's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I would differentiate a "proc" from a "set bonus" as the former providing its effect only once in a while, whereas the latter provides its effect consistently. So panacea provides the hp and end once in a while, whereas LotG provides the recharge bonus at all times. The only exception would be the "for 120 seconds" IOs, like the stealth ones, since they provide a consistent effect if slotted in an auto or toggle power, (while it is toggled on), or for 2 mins in a click power... -
No set bonuses check box on TF and Ouro arcs

Would this include individual IOs that provide a bonus apart from set bonuses, like panacea chance for +hp/+end? -
What's the smallest change to CoX that you really want?
biostem replied to DougGraves's topic in General Discussion
I'd also love to be able to set power colors/options, even before taking a pool or Incarnate ability - possibly have the "apply color options to all powersets" also affect new/future picks... -

biostem replied to DougGraves's topic in General Discussion
I want to be able to set costumes to change based upon whether you are in combat or out of combat, or whether a travel power is active or not. -
It's an online game - provide a quick summary of your character and a URL where an interested reader can see more.

Are there any server(s) that are more child friendly?
biostem replied to okpokalypse's topic in General Discussion
I would setup a custom chat channel only for you and your kids/family, and disable all other chat, possibly even local. You may also want to avoid some of the more common hangouts, like Pocket D. -
Who knows. From what I understand, while the numbers and/or framework for the set exist, the animations, (arguably the most involved step in creating any new set), doesn't exist. With that being said, I suppose it's a matter of what the devs deem to be a priority and/or where their pool of expertise lies at the moment...

I wish we could get that ascot/neck piece without the dumb blood stains!
-
This already exists - make an AE arc and you can add all the custom enemies you want! Alternatively, I wonder if they could kind of "hijack" the Kheldian code that used to add the Void Hunters, to instead add this custom nemesis in their place. A simple option would be to add a tiny chance of replacing a humanoid NPC model in instanced missions with a designated costume save file...

PI pugs can be fun if they are bad enough
biostem replied to DougGraves's topic in General Discussion
Frankly, it's the small confined places people can't seem to handle. I mean, those little areas in some sewer maps, where there are the 2 doors offset to each side, (right then left), poses an insurmountable obstacle to some folks! -

Looking around corners before you overconfidently charge into a room is a novel concept, didn't ya know!? -
I wonder if the issue is that the visors are kind of rotated/tilted up a bit too much, as evidenced by the larger gap under the visor and above the mouthpiece, (notice the larger amount of skin you can see vs the male model). For a visor that is already tilted more downward, the head sliders help a lot more:

I am dealing with a "clipping visor dilemma" and seek your expertise and advice! This is a particular half-helmet/visor/mouthpiece combo I really like: But on female characters, the visors clip horribly, and I just can't seem to capture the same look with other eye pieces: Any suggestions would be warmly welcomed! Thanks!

PI pugs can be fun if they are bad enough
biostem replied to DougGraves's topic in General Discussion
There are a few maps that seem to always cause trouble for PUGs. Two that come to mind are the office map where there is that area almost straight ahead of the entrance, where you go down some stairs into a medium sized room, and there are about 2-3 groups, with one being just off to the left of where you enter said room, and always catches people off guard. Another is where you kind of make a sharp 90 degree left turn, and there's a door on the outer right wall of that corner, with another group waiting just inside that small room. It's like people don't even bother checking what's in front of them. I mean, I know this isn't VR or anything, but do people really have such severe tunnel vision? -
I thought it was more of a debuff against the enemy than a buff on yourself... For reference: https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Bane_Spider_Training#Surveillance

Love the design! What's the top they're wearing beneath the gunslinger shirt? Is it a tights pattern? Regardless, looks great!
