  1. I'm not really sure why they don't persist. Is it a hardware or coding limitation? Their buffs are trivial, but they do bring a coolness factor I wouldn't mind seeing persist like the summonable crafting Workbench.
  2. Where's that April Fools dog at? They always had fun little teasers like that.
  3. Time Manipulation is a great set on Blaster. And Controller, Corruptor, Defender, and Mastermind. I'd love to try out a Melee ported version, either as an armor set or as a melee set.
  4. Don't forget to make sure in-set conversion isn't selected or this will change to a regen nerf thread next.
  5. I'm going to agree with @UltraAlt on this from a legacy perspective. It was specifically advertised as a massively multiplayer online role playing game and content was continously designed with that in mind during legacy. At the same time @ShardWarrior, here on Homecoming, I've managed to collect around 1520 badges on my main - nearly 99% was done through soloing (or using multiple accounts when needed). So you have a point too.
  6. I know it's already belabored at this point, but I would still like to add that it's not just in this thread - Yomo has the 'Free Inf Giveaway' in their signature (for those viewing the forums on desktop) and Yomo is also a prolific poster in the Market sub forum. Actually, Yomo posts in a ton of places on this forum. I utilized this charity myself and it's all very above board and helpful to say the least. And on top of this, I've told players (new and contemporary) in game of this giveaway if they are in need of some start up capital or something. Seems to be a good deal of gratitude from this.
  7. This is accurate. The opportunity cost has already been sunk by players who know how to achieve this market return rate. The assumption is that as players level up, they gain more understanding of the in game currency and how to earn it in the most optimal way. Thus once the opportunity cost is paid, (via time spent finding the most efficient way to make inf) it becomes trivial. But from a new player perspective who hasn't spent anything on that aforementioned opportunity cost, then absolutely, what you are saying is accurate.
  8. Welcome back! Lots of helpful stuff for new/returning players in the "Guides" sub forum. Also recommend checking out the Homecoming community driven Wiki (linked at the top of the website if viewing in desktop mode). Lots of players here to help if you're overwhelmed or have specific questions.
  9. That's right - and nobody better call him Obi Wan in the series because he hasn't heard that name in a long time...
  10. This game is a brand new experience to some. For others its a returning favorite. If any folks want to try something new - try first person (or third-person if you normally run in first person). Then play with headphones on! Or that new futuristic virtual reality headset thing! Or just take a break. It is a video game, there are other hobbies to partake of. It will be here when you get back. And remember when throwing pinecones in to the river was the most fun you could ever have?
  11. Well since this thread has gone on now for a good couple of pages, any chance we can get a HC Team rep to chime in on their views? @Jimmy @Cipher @Number Six @Telephone @Flowers @Buckets?
  12. Can't players already do this with different damage type procs? The Lethal, Fire, Cold, Psi, Negative Energy, Energy, Toxic, etc. damage procs? If players want a different damage type, they could check to see what damage procs can be slotted in a particular power.
  13. Location: Mercy Island billboard [-3498.7 113.9 -2503.8] Change: "Oppointment" to "Appointment"
  14. I didn't catch that point you made the first time I read the original post, thank you.
  15. That's interesting 🤔. I'm thinking there are certain mob types that have credit counted, maybe there was a change recently and some were modified inadvertently. Good catch!
  16. Mercy Island's Blighted got some weird powers...
  17. Kinda reminds me of maybe a sped up Dwarf form walk then. I'm probably way off - I didn't even realize it wasn't new lol
  18. Great animation work! Reminds me of how I walk when I find out someone ate the last slice of pineapple pizza.
  19. I'll go ahead and say I can navigate every zone across the game. I struggle with mission maps more than anything, especially with multiple floors. 'Reveal' was a godsend when I discovered the power. In addition to what you mentored above, I really recommend collecting the Exploration badges in first person - its a really immersive experience getting a tip mission for an Exploration badge and then finding it based on the clues (or the Nav bar if it's a tricky one!).
  20. Well if they add that reasoning in to the game some where then I'll give this my stamp of approval. I don't mind high-tier items like this and I think the market supply is small because there are more consumers than suppliers due to the size of the player base.
