  1. That's what they ARE Doing. Like I said above, we don't know how far along they're advancing the timeline from 2012 but it is advancing.
  2. There's an assumption inherent here that it is 2021 in Paragon. Is it though? Personally I wouldn't advance the in world calendar by that many years at all. Five at the most perhaps. I think having it set "in the past" could give the current tiny Dev team a bit of breathing room on "filling in" the best part of a decade.
  3. Less is more. The brain is the part where most sexual activity originates, and we already have EXPOSED BRAINS. Job done.
  4. Imagine all of the refugees leaving at roughly the same time, whether Loyalist or Resistance, and - cue handwaving - the Rift doesn't send you all to the same point in time on the other side. It's not actually like that but I think that helps. It's slightly analogous to Captain America's origin story (Steve Rogers). He's always born in 1918 and always fights through WW2 and then goes into the ice. WHEN he comes out? That can be extended and rebooted but the first part is static.
  5. There's a way out of this and it's Stefan Richter/Lord Recluse. One of his drives is NOT being subservient to the Well, hence his quest for other equally tangible power levels and sources. The Well itself equally describes him as a failure. But that's only according to ITS rules. Head canon says Recluse is either on the right track or has succeeded. If he has then, like many a thing, once it's been done then it can be replicated, in whatever way. That ties in to my notions elsewhere that Recluse is aware of himself (for lack of a better phrase) not being "end game content", especially after the Praetorian War. That would I think drive him further to re-establish his dominance and gain the extra power needed. He knows, for instance, that Emperor Cole is sitting in a prison "depowered", but that alternate of his old frenemy remains a threat. The Well in its "wisdom" called him a failure. It was wrong. I'm not suggesting an "Incarnate Version of Patron Powers" via Recluse, no. Just that the path to getting them be diversified. If that WAS by going through him, or a la VEATs stealing the information, then fine. Heroes doing it? There's always a way. The irony of all this is that unlike those who follow his research/path, Recluse IS tied to the Well.
  6. Not enough of us 24 carat Golds out there! (Shameless plug time! Check sig for 2 trilogies of AE Gold arcs (1 Loyalist and 1 Resistance) set just after Neutropolis but before the Rift Mission/First Ward)
  7. Oh excellent! Only caveat is: If you started off as Resistance Praetorian and went all the way through then there's a chance that Calvin Scott simply isn't there for you to check stuff. Sometimes he is - just checked that - but it may depend on the "when" of the ouro arc. Curiously Crow is nearly always missing if you've done his arc, no matter when you flash back.
  8. AWESOME! What shard are you on? And if it's the same as me, doh, sorry!
  9. No probs 🙂 Just enjoy all the mayhem!
  10. You don't need to be the same level for the Explore tips though.
  11. Are you fighting in a zone your own level? That's pretty much how they drop.
  12. Update! Just tested this with a Bluesider. As long as you are doing a Loyalist arc you can access the Loyalist lounge. Not fine-tuned it yet regarding in mission checks.
  13. Using ouro you CAN check in with your Loyalist contacts if you go to the Loyalist Lounge in person. Marchand is always there. There's difficulty doing that with Resistance and Scott because if you get to a certain point then even if you go in person he is gone. Now, the trouble is if you're a Blue sider doing Loyalist stuff, you're not getting in to the Lounge.* *Update below.
  14. Thanks @Faultline. Never sleep, do you? LOL.
  15. It is what it is. And there we are. Any idea when we see the update to HC for the fast tracked Cimerora stuff? I have reasons! (Slightly off topic there)
  16. And you STILL didn't get him!
  17. You are indeed correct! Like I said, fine-tuning a little 😄
  18. Full expansion of Casino Heist from the SBB? Rob the Giza? Gets you a badge that you might not want! Now you're a target! Have to do the Witness Relocation trial to change the text on that badge!
  19. Just fine-tuning this 🙂 BOTH are UK English. However "judgment" refers only to the legal pronouncements of an actual judge. Judgment is the only version used normally in the US. Working as an editor IRL and having spent a lot of time on legal texts in the last decade this has become almost a twitch reaction!
  20. Make it an in character thing too then 😛 Get a freebie from the P2W of a tiny camera that floats over your head, with Paragon News/WSPDR/TPN stencilled across it! REPRESENT! Be the embedded correspondent in the team! Activating that pops up a STREAMING above your head and off ya go. I dunno.
  21. True. However, the Dev Choice nominations have been suspended from last...February I think, so there's no "up-to-date" list.
  22. Well we nominate the ones WE like and then the Devs play them and decide which ones of that set of nominations THEY think are the best. So, it's still the Devs doing it.
  23. Well, it being Cimerora and all, I've had the "pleasure" of playing guide to a small team who took it at 4/8, and you kinda need that ally if anyone decides to do that! The intent behind this (I hope it came across) is: What if the Cimerorans behaved like historical Romans? Or at least what we're told they were like.
