EA is pretty awesome on a stalker. Just hit vet level 15 on mine with 0 defeats so far.
I have been contemplating trying it on a Sent next.
Of course sent /SR has been tempting me too, looks really good with the recovery power.
You can't really build a blaster to be as survivable as a Sent.
You can build it to be good against a lot of content, but the blaster is still going to farm debt badges faster.
Not much experience with KM.
But i will say EA is better than it used to be. And quite easy to build.
Pick up the kinetic barrier temp power at ptw for an early softcap boost.
If you use no redraw do the weapons autovanish when you are done attacking?
Ive always wanted to do dual pistols but the run animation is so horrible i always end up deleting
The only time i hit the assassin's strike from hide, its because i misclicked.
Better off using a heavy hitter from hide, then Assassin's strike while scrapping.
I guess its a nice escape hatch type power. But really with a few ios on EA you only ever need to escape PSI.
Psi users tend to die fast though, so still almost never use it.
It could probably be a toggle now and regen would still only be a middle pack secondary.
The big change would be some flexibility in how much recharge a regen needs.
And less clickiness
Back home now and checking Mid's/Pines the numbers for stalker Invul look really good.
The Invincibility replacement has the same Def as 10 foes in range for brute/scrapper
I have it on my stalker, but i use it so rarely that it seems pointless.
No sense in getting rid of it since i wouldn't have enough slots for whatever I'd replace it with.
The chance for hide ATO in Assassin's strike kind of makes is obsolete in "real world" play i guess.
I think using anything as subjective and fickle as players' choice of what to play as some sort of balance feedback loop is Cray.
With an a, sorry Countess.
The reason there is so many spines/fire brutes for example, is that there is a general feeling that those are a good way to make in game money.
2 slotted Lightning reflex/quickness + 2 slotted Swift + 2 slotted sprint gets you around 56 mph which does not supress
Which is pretty damn fast for an indoor map.
Back during live they were also concerned with avoiding things like direct Thor clones and direct Captain America clones.
Less of an issue now I guess since I teamed with three different Aquaman clones on the same day >.<
Your character doesn't growl and act angry during rages though. Just glows a little bit.
The animations for tough or Savage melees build up are more angry than rage is.
There's no reason you have to assume your character is actually angry. Its just a name.
Just like footstomp is often a ground punch.
