I am of the opinion that the burden of proof falls on the person making the claim. Until proven, we have no way of knowing no one else has or has not done this before you. You don’t get to claim every thing that can’t be disproven. That is illogical and not how the world works. But telling all the same that you’re willing to just brazenly claim to be the best with no support. Some people would have some shame about something that silly.

How exactly is it verifiable that you’re the first to “verifiably” do something? It seems you’re using “verifiably” as synonymous with “uploaded to YT”. Making such bold claims while knowing nothing about 99+% of this game’s players... do you understand how it’s extremely difficult to interpret as anything other than beating your chest? I have the same cringe reaction to PvP threads about the “best players in the game”. Like who on earth doesn’t actually see that as transparently bullshit.

You seem to make a lot of evidence free claims though. Like every time you claim to be the first or only person to have done something in this game.

I left the Master ITF channel because it seemed to be primarily for talking about (1) arbitrarily imposed rules, (2) unverifiable claims of being the best, and (3) more than anything, a penis measuring chat channel. Definitely not the playstyle for everyone.

I will totally use Soul Transfer intentionally, as a highly effective “heal” 🙂

Rebirth is a low population server *because* of this. Thunderspy is a low population server *because* of their new powersets. Can’t move full speed ahead on the creative side with limited resources and zero thoughts on stability, balance, things that actually make games work instead of just the shiny toys, etc... and expect otherwise. That’s just having your cake and eating it too. So when people suggest we emulate the cool things about other servers without emulating the bad... they just need to be reminded there’s no free lunch.

I hope that’s a given, yeah. Would be good for T9’s to do things, yeah.

My Rad/Savage prefers more procs in the three mini nukes, for starters.

I have an Earth/Martial, but my build is all ranged (well maybe I have Dragons Tail, can’t remember). It’s an Earth/Martial/Fire so I use Fossilize/Trick Shot/Masterful Throw/Exploding Shuriken as s/t attacks and Trick Shot/Fire Ball/Rain of Fire for AoE. I wanted to fit Caltrops in, but it’s best with 5 procs, and I think I was hunting for bonuses by that time.

That’s def not a PvP build

I saw the thread title and guessed the poster.

Conversations about roles are frustrating on this forum by default. Way too many people willfully see things in black and white when there should be shades of grey. For instance, implying people want forced trinity play when they express that maybe the game could require more thought and teamwork than 8 DPS AT’s dropping everything dead at max difficulty but with zero difficulty. Or, for instance, implying people are fighting Council when they try to talk about lack of difficulty.

Yeah I have no idea. And yet the changes are publicly available, whether they should be or not.

Well I’m aware of two new powersets, one powerset rework, and several individual power tweaks (animations, extra effects, etc) just from talking to testers - they just need to go public with the beta so the deets can be considered declassified and we can all talk plainly about them here 🙂 That being said, a lot of the new stuff has been on and off City of Data by now, so not sure how much of a secret we actually have to treat it as?

We’ve already been aware of a few things for months, they’re just clearly taking their time moving anything to open beta... Heck I made a couple of characters to capitalize on specific power tweaks a good while back, and now they’re just gathering dust.

I’m guessing you came up with this assumption as a way of explaining why attacks aren’t constantly hitting for 2k damage, instead of taking into account mob debuff resistance, etc. That being said, with a lot of -res (like, Poison, Trick Arrow, etc.), you can in fact see wild things of that sort.

It’s already apparent you don’t understand how much damage defenders are capable of. Discussion’s pretty much over, this is such an obvious lolno. Hop over to the Defender subforum for build help, the AT already does enough of what you seek.
