Heh. Still seems weird. Leia with purple eyeshadow, Han's gun is hot pink, Darth Vader is green, Luke's stance is brokeded, and the lightsabers are the wrong color. Definitely weird. 🙂

Thanks Tacheyon for the pics! I really love this costume: I didn't see this character at the time, I was down the line somewhere. It was very fun, I can't imagine the work behind the scenes juggling what, 350 or so (I heard) contestants in at least 2 (or more?) instances of Echo Park! So many monsters mashing, I think Tyrant was the worst, multiple Tyrants were wiping the leagues over and over! I was particularly happy to see my fav GM, the Mapserver (and I got actual mapserved once! thought it was over but reconnected!). Also love the GMs based on us, the contestants - so fun to see (and fight) yourself as a giant! Great party. Awesome gawking with excitement and sentimentality by turns at our HC devs mingling with the original devs! Thanks HC and guests!

I still remember when I got my first, and for the longest time, only level 50 character on live, Trixibelle (scrapper/regen). Towards the last couple of levels I was gaping at the power choices I'd never seen before and surprised that I had her attack chain completed so early. I ended up with everything I wanted and decided to take... gasp! --- a second travel power! LOL! My travel power choice for Trixi was Superjump (I still love it, it just *feels* like being a super to me, even more than fly, which I also love because - fly!). In the last power pick I got for her I added Superspeed, and it turned out to be a great combo. SS gave me speed and stealth and SJ for verticles. I did need a temp power to fly for the Shadow Shard and for doing Hamidon raids, but really, the SJ + SS combo covered everything else and was (is) fun to run with. Since HC allows travel powers so early and without the requirement for a prelim power in the same power set, it's even easier to have 2. I've only recently begun experimenting with the new(ish) combat teleport, after struggling with TP on one of my first live character and abandoning it as too much work to be fun (for me, no reflection on others who love it, they are more adept users!). I like combat tp, need to build up my reflexes to use it but it's pretty fun. 🙂 [SJ user still working things out below]

Very fun evening, felt exactly like a real tv game show! Monty, Money Mouse and the rest of their crew were totally professional! The audience / contestants were all great and everyone participated with great attitudes, really getting into it and having a blast. I'll be keeping an eye out for the next time, so I can bring my spouse, she would have loved it. Merv sez thanks to Monty & Crew. 😉

Some nice pet names there... and the airman's name makes me want to build a crab spider, try and color him all green and name him Lars Larkus.

Congrats Homecoming, congrats City of Heros devs old and new, and congrats to all of us who love this game/our Home! I already love the event! I love the winter event presents, so this is great, plus variety of ambush spawns, keeps it fun, and the old school ones are awesome! Love having some old 'friends' show up to help! Looking for this - I'm the kind who needs it spelled out - how long is the time capsules event running? Is it all month (May)? I looked but didn't see when it ends either in the announcement or today's patch notes - how long do we have?

My incarnate scrapper Trixibelle's Lore pets are Rularuu, Ivan (Overseer) and Noble Bruce (Noble Brute).

For this reason I think it would be groovy if HC could add something simple, like a circle on the ground? to where bas portals are. During the Mapserver event, this advice to use noparticles was all over in game chat. If you know where the base portal is supposed to be, you can find it and click to access by moving your cursor around the in right space till you see the blue hand. But not knowing exactly where it is (like in an unfamiliar zone that does have one) makes it necessary to turn particles back on like you said, for this one thing. A disk or circle on the ground. That should be easy... maybe?

I enjoyed it immensely. Yes, I'm an altaholic and that might contribute, but in fact, I enjoyed it because.... it was fun! I've always liked invasion events, but this takes the invasion craziness that I like and adds amusing looking mobs, with silly names, and I'm amused! I smile while playing! The GM (which several of the servers collectively decided wasn't "worth it" to the point where it was habit to drone him) is challenging, crazy to look at, and crazy stuff happens. GM dances! Birds drag you up in the air by the head. GM kicks and either stomps you or sends you shooting for insane distances... and then you snap back! It's like an amusement park ride, with combat! I get it, it isn't everyone's thing. But... it's mine. 🙂 And this is from a player who generally solos, is not uber serious about it, but very loyal to CoH. This event was created by HC folks who were clever, creative and fun and I send them my approval.

What fun the Brawling Humiliator would have during the Mapserver event. 🙂

You mean like this? It happened to me over and over today/tonight. My blaster was hover blasting so being dropped was anticlimactic but still fun being taken for a ride. 🙂
