  1. Hail of Bullets makes me feel like Yosemite Sam. If it makes you feel better, you can imagine that your gun has two triggers, one that you pull randomly when flailing about to obscure your actual shots, which are more carefully aimed.
  2. That's a fairly recent development. Page 3 or 4, I think. Yeah, page 4 opened up a whole lot of options for Soldiers of Arachnos in terms of Gun and Mace selection.
  3. I generally feel pretty similarly. But I rolled up a Traps/Beam defender and was just not having a good time of it. And I looked into, and it seemed like Poison Trap had the same -regeneration modifiers for Corruptors and Defenders and the Beam attacks also had the same -regeneration values, so I didn't see any reason not to make the switch.
  4. Right, because you only get the one arachnos costume per character anyway. Do you really want your peacock spider to have the same costume as your funnel spider?
  5. Blood Widows and Night Widows don't have claws so much as they have Spines. Spines with Spin and Follow-up.
  6. Yeah, my search of the patch notes for inherent fitness started with issue 12, went back to issue 7, and then forward until 19.
  7. I found redside more annoying for the process because I keep forgetting about the secret contacts that are unlocked by completing certain content and getting specific badges.
  8. There are existing animations for juggling. That'd be interesting
  9. Okay, let's do this. Forced March: Targeted ally PBAoE 4 minute duration, can be turned off at Null the Gull, boost run speed Sentry: Passive, increase perception, perception resistance (with the resistance improvable with accuracy slotting. Takes no sets) Combat Jogging: It's Infiltration without the stealth Aura of Command: A Taunt aura toggle. You seem in charge, so people are more likely to attack you. Takes A Punch: Either a resist all toggle or a +maximum health passive.
  10. Take whatever origin you want, go to the Transact4Victoy vendor, relinquish whatever origin power you have, buy the Throwing Knife.
  11. It's just like fighting the PPD in any other mission, except, as I recall, you're still limited to your skull powers.
  12. I would add a pre-impact Galaxy City back to City of Heroes. .1 seconds pre-impact. Upon zoning, you would be hit by the steel canyon building explosion code. All inspirations and powers would be turned off and your only option to revive would be going back to your base or the hospital.
  13. Alternatively: Ski Patrol for anywhere in the ski chalet area, and Lounge Lizard for the VIP Room, Bamboo Kat's Luau, and Blackbeard's Pub. (the accolade would still be terror of the slopes)
  14. Ski Patrol for logging out on the slopes and Lodge Lounger for the lodge. Ski Patrol gets you cold resists, Lodge Lounger gets you warmth resist. The Accolade Terror of the Slopes gets you charges of snowballs to throw at people.
  15. I know that if you get defeated in the fight, you just have to run back and join the fight again. If you get defeated after the fight, when it's "find a way out of the mission" going to the hospital works fine, but it really feels like you have to try to lose fights in that mission.
  16. It's really nice to have, depending on what you're teaming with. It's great for tanks, brutes, and scrappers, provided they aren't already at the hit point cap. So Earth Tanks, Invulnerability Tanks, and Ice Tanks will see the least benefit usually. Willpower can hit the hit point cap with set bonuses. Shield Defense might be able to, but you're more likely to slot for defense bonuses. Radiation Armour, Bio Armour, and Electric Armour are all regeneration heavy sets without a reliable path to hit the hit point cap. They will be very happy for the increase. I'm not sure about Stalkers, because I remember it being really easy to hit the hit point cap on stalkers.
  17. This might not need a sequel to fix. The purple triangles were a late addition because controllers could entirely lock down a fight and the Archvillains couldn't do anything. So the object is "let controllers control without entirely locking out the archvillains from acting" If you could link certain attacks with certain controls, and if the magnitude of control was high enough, the powers either get locked out or changed to a different set. I don't know if it's possible, but like, if you stack mag 6 confuse on Wretch, he'd use Haymaker instead of Knock-out blow. Mag 9 confuse get him to punch and 12 to jab. So hold would lock out one power, fear another, stun.. I don't know about immobilize because that one can be pretty handy at times as is.
  18. Oh, I was fighting Ms. Liberty the other day and she had unstoppable and Dull Pain, with surprisingly short recharge times. She was able to pop unstoppable twice while I still had lore pets up.
  19. No, actually, it's better if you're not expecting it.
  20. All of your suggestions kind of make sense for additions to the game, if they were possible (but as I understand they are not) but none of that is what I'd be looking for in a sequel. A sequel needs to be set in a different enough setting that it doesn't make sense to continue in the existing world. Given that Praetoria, City of Villains, and two Primal Penelope Yins exist in the same game, the only way to really makes sense to approach it as a new setting rather than an expansion of the existing world is to change the game mechanics. Because while multiple universes seem to be able to co-exist in City of Heroes, multiple game mechanics are not quite as friendly to one another. And designing game mechanics is a really big question. Do you get rid of archetypes and powersets and let people kind of build their own characters? Do you keep archetypes? There's no right answer to these questions, and each decision you make will have interesting consequences.
  21. But what about the chorus?
  22. If it gives no experience then it was something that was once used for farming.
  23. I think every enhancement that has spent more than one month in the e-mail or the enhancement tray should become a winter enhancement. Then introduce a new salvage that can convert Winter Enhancements to uncommon enhancements.
  24. I kind of find the rez annoying just because it's not guaranteed. It's just high enough that I don't want to move onto the next spawn and risk fighting too many enemies, but standing around waiting for a rez that might not happen is just too much for my stunted attention span.
  25. It's not chrome and it has no antennae or dials.
