Here's my current Thugs/Time. I went with PowerBoost + Clarion Radial + Farsight, which is putting the pets at 50%+ melee/ranged and 60%+ AOE def, when stacked with the Enforcers' buffs and pet uniques. My own defenses (on the MM) are also soft-capped for melee/ranged but not AOE (~41%) except when PB is up, as long as I use Clarion+PB. With just PB+Farsight, they're around 33-37%. Sure, S/L/E def are 50% though due to Scorp Shield (with PB'd Farsight). That said, it doesn't feel quite as powerful as I'd like. I'm pretty happy with the pet slotting, but I have no attacks so just end up healing and debuffing. My Necro/FF MM now feels stronger in some ways with the 3 attacks and spectres. SlowedResp has acc check, but with PB'd Farsight and Kismet IO it's probably fine (esp. on teams with other buffs). Stuffing two +5 Rechage IO's in it would bring the recharge down from 30 sec to maybe 22 sec, but I honestly don't know if it's worth it vs. losing those slots somewhere else - can't see from where to pull 'em and not sacrifice something. EDIT: not really finding a way to add 2 + slots to SR without giving up 5-10% global recharge or letting AOE def <45%. Will keep playing around with it.

Fair points. Allow me to rebuff: 1) Don't plan to be in melee so Time's Juncture not a must-have. Goal with this build is pew-pew from range. 2) Didn't seem like adding 2 dmg procs do Slowed Response would really make a difference ... key was -RES proc and the -DEF is buffed (for AVs/hard targets) by Power Boost. it goes to like -44.6% Def which on top of the -RES is what's need (stack -RES with the -15% RES from Piercing Beam). Everything outside of AVs dies too fast anyway on teams.

Has anyone played Beam on a Corr? I hear that the DOTs from Disintegrate can Scourge. Spent some time in MIDS and wanted to just throw this up here as I haven't seen any recent builds. Haven't played this. Idea was to find a low-clicky secondary (Time) to let you focus on the Beam Rifle chain from range, soft-capping yourself with PB'd Farsight. I know the ideal chain is like Dis->otherST attacks, and there is -15% res in Piercing Beam apparently that I assume can stack with the -RES in Slowed Response. But idk, never played Beam. This is close (if not exactly) where I ended up on my Ill/Nrg/Soul dommy, for alternate take on Illusion. I didn't chase soft-caps since I team enough. I wanted to get into 30%+ range so I can use purples liberally. Is there a clear list of what the buffs work in -- for example, do they work in all standard TFs and missions, but not any iTrials or other trials?

/Rad is pretty good if you convert its PBAOEs (Rad Therapy, Ground Zero) to proc-bomb attacks, especially if you have a primary that's light on AOE. That's why I like my EnergyMelee/Rad so much.

Thanks. This really made me relook at Fire Melee on Tanks. Couple questions: Is Lady Gray Negative Energy or -RES Achilles Heel better in Fire Sword to sub the Lysome? I presume you then put the other of the 2 in GFS? Or do you put -RES Achilles in both to max chances? Fire Sword Circle (on the tank build) had 2 Lysomes I think for last 2 slots - better to put 1-2 procs in place like maybe Zinger Psi dmg and Dervish Lethal Dmg? Since apparently can't take (per mids) other procs besides what's already there? Also in the Tank build, Incinerate doesn't have the Might of Tanker +RES IO - I assume that's an oversight? Or are you never using a power that would trigger the IO? What's the recharge (global) needed to run FS/Gloom/GFS or some variation thereof? Is GFS/Incinerate/Gloom higher DPS? Elec_Fire_Tank.mxd

I keep looking at my combat logs for a GK Crit and haven't seen one yet. I suppose it is RNG? Is there something required besides both upgrades?

As an afternote, I seem to be able to soft-cap the pets to about everything with PowerBoosted bubbles - and the bubbles appear to affect both the Soul Extraction pets and even the Spectres (afaik, though it could just be visual). Does Soul Extraction have to be cast with you targeting a pet, post changes? Sometimes it looked like I could have a mob targeted and cast Soul Extraction and it would still work, other times no. If the answer is that a pet has to be targeted, anyone have a good macro to target a pet and then cast it?

This is what I decided to test. PB+Bubbles on top of the inherent Res of pets. Decent def for self, esp. with purples. Can avoid Clarion due to Dispersion. Bubbles now has some OK baked in -RES and def debuff resist / Damping Bubble goodness. I tried to do /Cold and /Nature builds but I wasn't sure they'd be as good for the Pets (though absorb is tempting with PB). Empty slot in Soul Extract is for Unbreakble Constraint dmg proc. I'm starting to consider going back to Necro/Cold, but I really don't know much about Necro slotting. Can you / should you put more procs into Soul Extraction (it now works on pets without them having to be dead?). Should the BU proc for pets go into Grave Knights? Is the KD OF proc better off in Zombies? Also not loving Scorpion Shield ... maybe just give up personal def and go for Bonfire? Good call, forgot to mention i made a /FF corr post changes too. Hence my interest in /Therm or /Pain or/Sonic or /Traps or /Elec as sets not yet played. But I'm getting the impression they are all not Tier1 for Necro.
