Did you use a slash command to invite and accidentally typo into his name? As for him not seeing it, many players don't see or read what pops on the screen especially if its in the midst of battle.

I can't identify a main. My farmer has the most time logged so far but that's because I am getting her outfitted for her job lol once that's done she may come out once every week or two and I will play the ones I have yet to get to know! (Yes they all have personalities of their own lol)

Catalyst, I believe. Slot the IO then open it like you were going to plus it, click the one you want into the combine box and then click catalyst (you have to own them first and they will appear in a box beside the power and slots..its salvage not enh), click combine and done! This is how I made my tanker ATOs into Superior but I think it attunes as well. Also, if you buy enh from AH it is the same price (and availability) for regular or attuned so that saves you the cost of a catalyst.

Thank you for your thoughts! Many people have asked why I farm with a tank....she is durable. If I have to step away from my computer for a moment she will still be alive. Both of these builds farm quite well so I dont know if the numbers you see in Mids or whatever are different than in-game play. The second build uses end where the first one doesn't..unless I am up against drainers but that is always a problem. And yes I would like one build to suffice for both farming and content. Again, the first build has done quite well at MSR and everything I have taken her to. I think I will keep CJ for that smidge of defense and I will see if I can find Mocking Beratement for Consume. Right now I am opening patron pools to give the Mu lightening AoE a shot. Still lookong for a way to raise resist on psi, well on everything that isn't lethal , smashing and fire as those three are at 90. Also I want to maximize damage from the AoEs I just don't know which sets are best because I am new to IOs and dont really understand them yet. All good suggestions. Thanks again!

They charge you 5inf even if your list price is below 100inf...so I list everything at 100inf and pay my 5inf like a good girl...then the remainder of the 10% (based on sell price) is taken at time of sale so I don't see it and dont miss it. I try using Get All Influence button but it hangs up the AH for me for a good 2 minutes. If you are trying to squeeze every last penny you can and have the time I don't recommend this method, as you may end up with lower sell prices. But it is quick! I am sitting on just under 100mil so its not like you wont make gains. ps...that 100mil is after speccing out 2 builds with purples etc....saving up to finish incarnate now

My son and I had a duo for this purpose but found that whenever we happened to be on the same time he liked playing his main and I like playing whomever strikes my fancy at that moment. I think everyone being available at the same time is the main problem with static teaming. I do love having buddies you can get to know their playstyle and y'all can shorthand stuff, it just makes missions melt!

I tend to use the term old-school but that could be ambiguous as to what it refers. I like vanilla but it could be construed to mean how the game was intended to be played or also refer to the use of SOs as I see time and again that 'the game is balanced around SOs'. I vote we all just stay confused ... That'll cut down on the time we have to be offended 😁 -
Veelectric beat me to it. Yeah if you are running the inf farms no enh will come your way but they will drop on anyone who isn't exemplared down.

In-game you can type /buildsave and it will save to your CoH/(username)/Builds folder. If you do download Mids (go to the tools forum right below general and it has a sticky and first post is updated with most recent version) you can then go to File>open>(browse to your CoH/(username)/Builds folder and open it. You cannot use /buildsave and pick a filename so it will overwrite itself every time you use it. I have tried renaming the file but then it won't load into Mids properly, not sure what I did wrong. Just load it into mids then save it as whatever filename you want and it wont matter. There isn't a /buildload in game 😞

AE playing is still playing. I don't door sit although I allow them if that's what floats their boat. Take that back...my first time in AE I did door sit and chatted. Now I run with the farmer...am sk'd up and do a bit of damage and veng bait if needed. If people want a /makeme50..hey you do you..but I play old-school and AE school. As long as I have my game back (love love love) I play any way I can or want depending on my mood. I think a lot of these threads about "nerf x" can be answered with "you do you and I do me". -
My WS has been soloing her arc and they keep running from her in haste! I'm like, shes a 4 foot tall carrie, dudes, what's the deal? I can't figure out if one of her powers or shields has a fear component or if it is just her 'epic' difficulty level.....you made an epic archetype now chase baddies! Working as intended?

My tank farmer has two builds, one I modified from help here on the forums and a second that a new friend in-game made for me. I need help blending these two builds so that I get more of what I want/like and less of what I don't want/like. (builds are listed in the thread below) I LOVE Ripper so I definitely want to keep it. Didn't like Impale or Lunge so already ditched those. Don't use Throw Spines so it can go. Don't need Focused Accuracy as I carry that in the Tactics. Honestly the entire epic pool can go if there is a better option. I usually run with Hasten on auto so probably need to keep that. I can do with or without Combat Jumping, but I need Super Jump for travel. I LOVE Taunt so I can reach out and grab baddies that are just a bit outside my aura. I do enjoy Rise of the Phoenix so I'd like to keep it in even though its not strictly necessary on a lvl 50 tank. I'd also like to think about Vengeance instead of Victory Rush as some door sitters like to throw themselves on the pyre for the cause, although I always think a dead enemy is better than a dead friend. Acrobatics is maybe helpful maybe not...don't currently use it but not sure if it'd add anything. Rarely use Build Up so it can be traded as well. I don't use Barb Swipe much at all but have to take it as a T! in Secondary....might be wasting slots there. This toon has all incarnate slots open but I am only working one at a time, she's T3 Alpha with Agility (help end mod and recharge...its core I think...incarnates are new to me). This is primary a farmer but she has run MSR and Banners as well as gone up against a few GMs out and about. I want her to be more well rounded to run TFs and stuff as well as just farm. I have noticed on the main build her lethal and smashing and fire resists are all 90% and the lowest, psi, runs around 34 - 45 % so I want to see about getting any below 90 up a bit if possible. I am just learning about all this set stuff and how to slot it to advantage. As I said...these are modified builds but the basics came from other people....I couldn't tell you why a certain set is slotted in a certain place or why there are X number of them. That's what I'm trying to figure out. If you can help me get one good build out of this I would greatly appreciate it! I don't want to burn too many respecs so ideally I wanna do this ONE MORE TIME and get her PHENOMENAL!! Thank you for your time in reading all this!

When I went to college, I tested out (didnt have to take) of English, science and history. Math was my nemesis (still is) so they put me in a class called Elementary Mathmatics where they taught us what a numeral is. Coincidentally, for my Psych major, I had to take a course called Statistics. The same semester. Opposite ends of the hallway. My professor for Statistics told me at the end of the semester, "I am giving you a D because I dont want you back next semester." The long and short of it is that if its math or statistics, I suck at it! I am trying to learn.

The only one I want from live is my MA/regen and regen is so not the same now I rerolled her as MA/WP. I definitely dont want my original 50 back, they can burn her! Lol
