More likely than a non-gaming PC though, because a fast CPU and plenty of RAM are also good.

I can run three clients at 1920x1080 in ultra at 60fps in normal content/Incarnate Raids/Teams/etc, I cannot run one client at 1920x1080 at regular graphics settings in a MSR without graphics lag. I have a Ryzen 1600/GTX 1060 6Gb/16Gb.

Earn arcs from "Tip" like drops, doing random content in a zone (hunts, street sweeping, etc) and you find a... something that leads you to a new contact... maybe even have a short introductory mission/arc where you get to rescue the contact. Contact is then unlocked for it's proper content. Which contacts is unlocked from which "drop" should be at least semi hidden (in game fan sites are another issue), so you get them with a semi random appearance. But maybe unlocked with Kill Badges. eg: "You get a phone call/email from the contact who says that they have heard you have an especial fondness for killing Malta Titans, would you be interested in meeting for a mutually beneficial mission." Perhaps even link it in to the rogue system where the arcs offered are different from the same contact dependent on whether or not you're good, bad or somewhere in the middle.

Just what I was going to say. Plus didn't they have display cases with various items in as well at one point? (They may still do my base is a factory, it has teleports and crafting stuff plus NPCs for common tasks... but it still looks like an empty factory.)

I would like either or both: When you hit 50 (50+ you don't need to do it as soon as you hit 50) you get the option to re-roll that character as a different (or same) AT, you keep achievements, badges, inf, IOs... basically everything you had. But you cannot use it until you hit 50 again. For every ten levels or so you get a boost that is tied to your old AT. Each AT has a specific "flavour" that carries over to the next "Incarnation" (not to be confused with Incarnate). Pretty much a rip off of the same system in DDO (and maybe D&D never played so don't know). The flavour power boost might be either a specific unslottable power (like an inherent) or a global boost. Eg if your previous AT was a Brute you get a small buff to damage ever ten levels. You can have as many past lives as you want but boosts from past lives don't stack. or For every fifty levels you delete (which becomes entirely unrecoverable) you get untradeable XP boosts sent to that account's character specific mail which grant you some percentage of a whole character (personally I'd say 32). Using one gives you enough XP to go from level 1 to level 32. You can use as many of them as you have, on any character at level 50 they grant Vet XP (but Vet XP doesn't count toward making new XP Boosts. (A level 50 (vet 0) deleted grants 32 levels, a level 50 (vet 100) grants 32 levels.) Obviously the first one would be a significant change, probably hard to code... etc... but I think it'd be super.

I have always loved Teleport, right from the first time I used to to today. But I seldom get it. Not because of the issues, or end cost or whatever... but because it's just too low a priority on most of my characters. I need to take CJ or Hover for use in missions. If I take Hover I really need fly (because hover is too slow when not fighting). If I go with Hover (and I generally do) I can take afterburner (LoTG slot). So for one Power Pool I get two LoTG Slots, and a travel power. Teleport as a pool just doesn't have that draw, no mitigation powers, no mules, and if I want to use the knock-back protection it detracts from the actual stuff I need (Range). So I'm all for a different version of a faster Teleport and I'd even happily lose one of my existing Incarnate Powers to take it (providing it was one I don't use or is very IMO situational). According to Paragon Wiki the so far unknown Incarnate Abilities were: Genesis, Mind, Vitae and Omega. No idea if there was anything in the game files for these Abilities or if they were just names.

Easiest way to get the power name is to drag it into the chat box. It'll appear there with the name [Power Name], eg: [Power:Judgement.Ion Total Core Judgement] (T3 ION), power name is the last section. "Ion Total Core Judgement" In a bind it might be necessary to add underscores instead of spaces. You don't say which T4 you have but one T4 ION is [Power:Judgement.Ion Core Final Judgement] -> Ion Core Final Judgement -> Ion_Core_Final_Judgement (And yes I just upgraded mine to check.) How you write the power name is somewhat dependant on the command that is activating it. But if you try both with underscores and without one should work. The names listed in the current Mids (Hero Planner) seem (at least for ION) to be correct too.

Download it, try it out. That would answer a fair number of your questions. You can run a private server on a home desktop PC I'd imagine assuming it's a "gaming" or better system. Not sure the experience would be all that great. https://ourowiki.ouro-comdev.com/index.php?title=Main_Page

It's beginning to look a lot like...
Lost Ninja replied to Display Name's topic in General Discussion
The most annoying time of year? oh and the obligatory "Bah Humbug!" -
Don't like Freaks, due to the need to wait out their bodies despawning. Don't like Illusionists due to their phasing. Most Fun: Found a Tsoo Boss in TI with the name "Dreadful Wind", I was in vent/TS with some friends when we found him and I think we all laughed for about five minutes over that one. (In the UK where we were all from Dreadful Wind is probably the equivalent of a US Bad Gas.) Oh and the few Vanguard mobs you have to fight are a pain.

PvE Only OFC, glaringly over the top if you just want it for the speed boost.

And a knotted handkerchief hat... 😄

Sarcasm or not way overthinking it. If your only answer to an under performing set is "It's okay in teams." You completely miss the point of saying it's under performing in the first place. Worse because there is no real way of telling if you're actually viable in a team unless you're the sole "Tank" or "Healer" and you prevent the team from dying all the time. In CoH not only is the Holy Trinity not really used but most ATs have access to some sort of self heal/mitigation, so it's a bit hard to judge whether or not the team wiping or being very slow is down to your gimpyness or down to just not being a very good team. Everything is good in teams, because there are 7 other people making up for your under-performing arse. You can half arse a good set with no enhancements (at all) and still perform adequately outside of end game content due to being in a team.

Well not 1 for sure. Fairly sure on live there were at least a few attempts for many kinetics based characters to use Inertial Reduction en-mass to get past the -Jump

I soloed Frostfire in i5-i6 or so on a Kin/Dark Defender at around level 12 (I know it was before travel powers because I died twice getting to the mission and not in the mission). And I repeated the process on a level 8ish Mind/Rad Controller. Keep in mind this was before IOs so at that level I'd have had TOs on the controller and maybe DOs on the Defender (as even in those days I tended not to slot enhancements before SOs I might not have had them). IOs certainly make soloing (in fact all styles of play) more accessible but they certainly aren't a requirement.

Global - Default Global Channel with all player channels removed. Help - Help only. Zones - Zone Alerts (Might remove this now the halloween spam has ended). Combat - Default Combat without any reward type channels. LFG - LFG + Tells (Gets moved around depending on what I'm doing, so I often have Help and LFG visible.) League - League + Tells Priv8 - Team + Tells Rewards - XP/Drops/Inf/System/etc (I move this around too, if I'm solo of multi-boxing it's where it is when teaming it's often in the other screen/pane/tab.) Incarnate Trials - Global Chat Channel, only one I'm in at the moment (this is Reunion so we're quite quiet). Broadcast/Local are I think in LFG or Help, I tend not to "listen" to them much.

Banned On The Private Server Open Discussion
Lost Ninja replied to Sylar's topic in General Discussion
I'm guessing that the server you were banned from isn't HC? If so why is it relevant here? -
Agree with OP, I like some of the Magical Portals better than the tech variant. Would be nice if either the portal could just be programmed directly to link to specific destinations and the "Beacons" were just images. Or as the OP suggests interchangeable.

Which can be said for any under performing set ever. ((Not saying Stone specifically is or isn't, but if a set needs a pocket buffer to function it's not great.))
-
Especially if you could add a "Favourite", to the list. So they're always at the top of the list even if they would be normally further down. I tend to have the characters I'm concentrating on at the top of page one, but even with that I want them in level/archetype/name order. (So for me it'd be Favourite>Level>Archetype>Name.)
-
Would be nice if you could monitor more than ten items though.

I don't want no stinking overalls covering up my supreme awesomeness... 😉 /signed because I have no supreme awesomeness... 😞
