  1. We all know what the players really want in a Greek warrior themed group: oiled, muscled men in red speedos with helms and shields.
  2. Players have unlimited power. The problem you have is that they reach it. The devs could simply wipe the characters and make it harder to reach unlimited power. Remove AE farming, remove the XP multipliers, etc. Make IO sets massively expensive. But the players wanted to reach the end quickly. They wanted unlimited power quickly and effortlessly.
  3. Colonization, Moo2, Civilization. I am replaying Lego Star Wars on the Wii with my wife. Not endless replay, but we love the Nancy Drew games from Her Interactive. There are about 30 of them and we just replayed them all last year with our daughter. So we've played each of them 4+ times.
  4. It depends on what you mean by higher level and if you are assuming IO set bonuses. At incarnate play with IO sets, everyone is assumed to have soft capped defense and decent resistances. And ridiculous damage. So the only thing that matters at that point is how much damage you can do.
  5. I can't talk about it. We have the episodes recorded but have not watched them yet.
  6. I was very disappointed by how this all ended. The beginning of the show was fun and different. But it ended up with the cliched MCU battle between a hero and villain who was a slightly different version of themself. Wanda vs a witch and Vision vs a different Vision. This felt like they gave up on creativity and just tacked on a standard MCU fight and ending.
  7. If I were designing the game, I would make scrapper taunt power win any taunt contest - the one thing they taunt aggros on them. But also give the taunt a buff power on the scrapper based on the difficulty of the thing they taunt (pet, minion, AV, etc.). So scrappers would want to taunt the toughest thing in the room to get the biggest buff they could.
  8. I live in Seattle. Grunge is not dead here. The rest of the country just stopped dressing like us and listening to our music.
  9. Yeah, I don't think Deadpool is popular so much as Ryan Reynold's version of him. If they change actors I doubt it would be as successful. Starting fresh with the X-men makes sense from a casting perspective, at least after Dark Phoenix. I don't think any of the x-men cast from that were particularly popular. I do think keeping McAvoy as Prof X would work and be a good tie-in.
  10. So Quicksilver from the X-Men movies showed up in WandaVision. He is probably the most popular character from the X-Men movies so it makes sense. But then he is revealed to be fake, created by Agatha Harkness. How do you want the MCU to incorporate the X-men characters and the X-men movies, and how do you think they will do it? I think they can make the movies part of the multiverse. But then would they have the x-men be retconned to being always part of the MCU? I would like to see a return to the X-men as young students. Redo X-men first class so that mutants are introduced into the MCU rather than having the X-men been secretly operating. Although antman and the wasp were operating secretly, so that has been done.
  11. I've read that they put in a lot easter eggs and references in the movies to have hooks for later. They don't intend to use them, but they are there in case they decide to pick up on it later.
  12. I've been trying to find a way to watch Hooten and the Lady. Blood and Treasure did not end on a cliffhanger - it wrapped up the story.
  13. Welcome back. It was a surreal experience randomly looking up CoH and finding out it was back. The sort of thing you think only happens in stories.
  14. I tried getting into AoS. I read Nick Fury Agents of Shield when I was younger. Sadly, the show is nothing like that. I was expecting competent agents facing Hydra and having fun spy and action adventures. The first season was fun but they were incompetent. The reveal was great. And the show worked for a couple of episodes with that, but then it just felt like endless repetition of the same grind. The traitor storyline would not end. The show was not about Shield vs Hydra but just internal politics within government agencies. The worst thing about the MCU is the need to have the superheroes fight each other in almost every movie. I hated Civil War. I want superheroes fighting supervillains. I want Shield vs Hydra, not Shield vs Shield and other government agencies. I tried picking it up with Ghost Rider, but the main plot was the same - them hunting each other. Quake is hunted by Shield. No one in Shield trusts each other. I get that some people liked it, but it just felt like the X-Files with a different name. The same endless government infighting, plots that go nowhere, and people in black uniforms walking around in shadows.
  15. I got Marvel Unlimited for awhile and enjoyed the comics, but my old ipad2 stopped working with it. I read Avengers, Spiderman, FF, and some others from the 60's to the 70's. I stopped reading comics at the end of the 80's, and trying the new ones I generally don't like them. I might just have picked bad ones, but I found the ones I tried had a painfully slow pacing. They felt like the Marvel Netflix shows where very little happened dragged out over a long period of time. I prefer the older style like the CW shows where a lot happens every episode. I would get Marvel Unlimited again because there are a ton of old comics I want to read, but new comics seem to have no appeal to me.
  16. Adam Warlock started as Him and then became Adam Warlock. He had a life without Thanos. They might also go the Magus route with the evil version.
  17. I did your Dark Deeds in Galaxy City part 1 yesterday and it was good. I didn't bother with a review since it is already a Dev choice arc. I need to play the other parts of the arc.
  18. Jerk Hackers! is a 3 mission arc with a deliberately dumb plot and lots of custom characters. The bad: the plot being dumb is not bad. But there just is not enough text to flesh it out and make it interesting. It feels like placeholder text. Enough info to tell you what is going on, but not enough to make it interesting. The good: the missions themselves are the kind I really like. Lots of things to do and details, most of which are not mandatory. There are patrols wandering about, things villains are guarding, different groups of villains, NPC chat, etc. The enemies are all custom and the names and designs are interesting and fit the plot. The first mission is a fairly large outdoor map. You have to find things. You can skip most of the fighting and just look for the things. I cleared almost all of it as I was enjoying checking out the different enemies. The next two missions are fairly short indoor missions. The maps are medium size with a lot of details but as most are optional you can get through fairly quickly if you want (especially as a stalker). I recommend the arc for those who like mission details. Playing the missions felt very different than a normal radio mission. I do wish some more work was put into the text.
  19. I am a big Adam Warlock fan so I hope he appears. Given that they had Stark create Ultron, I don't think they are concerned with matching the comics. They would just make Adam Warlock. I am hoping that Kang is the big bad of this next era and they use Kang to merge universes and blend timelines so they can add in the X-Men and make other movies also part of the MCU but not in the same universe or timeline.
  20. I watched it all on prime with no cost, but I am a prime member.
  21. I did that on live but haven't done that with any of my new characters
  22. There are roughly 3 types of players and here's how to revitalize anything. Those who go through solo content for content. To get them to use a place put in missions to that place. Preferably new story arcs with contacts that show up automatically in their contact list. Those who do content for rewards, and those who do group content (because people who do group content go where the people are). To get them to use a place put it in a daily or weekly rotation for rewards. You cannot just make it more rewarding - there are too many zones and things. People do the most rewarding one. You have to make it rotate so they do each of them. Those who do badges. To get them to use it, put in badges.
