First off welcome to the game. A couple of observations to clarify things. You are allowed multiple builds on the same character maxing out at 3. I don't recall when you can have the 2nd, I want to say level 10 but that may be wrong, but the 3rd comes into play when you have 50. I love my claws scrapper but it has been a long time since I played her at a level below 30 honestly. The attacks always seemed pretty fast to me but that could just be the way I slotted enhancements. Makes me want to pull her out and fight some Hellions for giggles. Same goes for my other scrappers as well. Maybe I am just used to it or throw in lots of recharge early on. I have one dominator in the mid 30s and I fully agree with your sentiment of seemingly too many attacks. I'm sure this isn't actually the case but I do feel overwhelmed at times. I have a love/hate relationship with blasters. I've never been one to stand back and shoot stuff so I approached from the blapper mind set, in melee range all the time from level 1. Chaotic fun. She made it to 50 and have spent the last year tweaking the build with way too many respects to count. My one sentinel made it to lvl 6 before he became a dark/dark troller. Not that I thought the combo I chose wouldn't be fun but I wanted something different from Dark Armour which I have developed a FONDNESS for. I am sure I will try again...maybe after I actually get a kheld out of the mid teens. I'm of the same mindset regarding Stalkers but I do recall having fun on a thugs/something MasterMind on Live. Most of my characters are based around concept so that "the best" powers in the set don't make it into the mix. From there, with the exception of one hero, I don't min/max as I don't find it much fun. Setting wise it varies depending upon the character. Some start with No Bosses/Avs, some start with the turned on. I like to play at 3 or 7 players when solo as I find those provide an ideal lvl of minions/Lts for my comfort/fun balance. Did they change the Confuse powers somewhere along the way? I have vivid memories from Live of confusing clockwork and having them follow me around to attack other things. Or did my brain make that up and should be added to the "please dispose" list? As to the price for it and the other items mentioned I always assume thats a result of crafting and dumping.

Just finished up soloing the blue side on my Dark/Dark troller. It was a challenge but a fun one indeed. When I started being sent to random zones I thought "Dear Lord NO" but quickly stopped caring about it as I normally do. The missions were entertaining and the story was wonderful. I always disliked the Vahz for a variety of different reasons. When Posi was revamped I disliked them a little less. After this arc I look forward to taking my next hero through the old stories with glee. Well done and thank you. More please. Is it true the red side arc is a continuation of sorts for the blue one?

Agreed it can become pretty hideous. I have one "blech" costume on my scrapper still, which I kinda like in a non-traditional kind of a way. With enough tweaks you can make it so most of the ugliness goes away. I even have a few slots I really enjoy.

Seems to me my Fire Armour Brute has upwards of 12. Sucks when I die. Maybe it's 10. A lot though.

Settled on a Dark/Dark Troller. Have never used either set and if I did probably not very far. I'm enjoying locking things down and watching the DoT ticks melt away baddies. What is the story when it says Overpowered? Dmg or Mezz Magnitude is what I am thinking. The name, as it turns out, is Baron Von Bunny. I chose not to fly, atleast not for now. (If I do I will use CJ and Flight this time so I can stop on a dime. That looks cool and haven't done that since Live.) Considering playing with the combat tp. Pop around the field looking for mischief. That sounds fun. Spent the last hour and a half designing my level 6's second costume and the backstory seems to be developing. That is always a good sign. About 8 months ago I became enamored with Dark Armour, a set I had ignored on Live. Has it all...soft controls, debuffs, damage aura, a kick ass heal and a totally skippable power (yes I am looking at you Oppressive Gloom). Have 5 in total now the last may become my main. Her story is far from complete but now that she has saved the world from Mot (and I accept your unspoken thanks for the efforts and sacrifices undertaken to quietly save all of you) it seemed time to change it up. I decided why not try a sentinel out but do not believe I am the mood for another DA right now. Then it occurred to me that Darkness is everywhere in all of the ATs. Combos I have considered are a Dark/Fire Fender (or the equivalent Corruptor)and a Dark/Storm Troller thus far. Perhaps a blend of Mastermind or a Dom that works crazily well or is simply that much fun. Really though I am open to pretty much anything. Whatever really. The only things that are set in stone is the costume I designed last night, the name (which my aged brain doesn't recall right now 😞 but rest assured I think it is clever 🙂 ) and the fact that he has at least hover to float around. Sell me on the one you love and we will see what happens.

I have just finished all the way through for the second time. Loved it the first time out and enjoyed it all the more this time. Blame that on actually having a concept that sucked me right in. Where do I go from here? The next time I see the Diabolique trial I will hop on but what else. I am sure I have seen an arc that says "this takes place after the events involving Dream Doctor" or some such thing but no idea which one. Is my brain playing tricks or does such an arc exist?

I do not think I have ever slotted a WIO myself. The ones I got from last years sale are still sitting in my email so I think I will be sitting this out but good luck to all of you.
