Cheap Doctored Wounds recipe/ingredients to enhancement, converted to another heal, was my bread-and-butter, back in the day, for just starting out toons. Once I got a Num or Miracle or PrevMed (usually only a roll or two), it was probably an average of four in-set conversions, to get the proc. Yes, sometimes my gut told me it took 10-12 rolls to get it, but hardly blinked when it popped, on the first click. IIRC, 19 was the most I ever counted, to get a 1 in 6 chance... and, on that example, I still made 4M on a 1.5M investment. Whether the RNG is perfect or not, is inconsequential to me. Billions are out there just waiting to be collected...

When I made my vamp (Nosfera-too), I went with Kin/Dark, on a defender. Actually, my first ever 50 on Live. All the kinetics drains (Transfusion, Transference, Siphons) fit thematically and way back then, didn't have many choices, so Dark Blast was the best fit...

What rating criteria? Damage? Mitigation? Combos? Fun?

Welcome. Ageless Core Epiphany, as you don't need the DDR from Ageless Radial, since this is a fire farming specific build.

The fire farming "bible" thread: Ageless Destiny, once unlocked, will fix all your end woes. You're also missing two (not really bank buster) uniques: Steadfast Protection 3% Def. & Gladiator's Armor 3% Def. Those will get you *almost* to the soft cap for Fire defense (44.66%).

Decisions, decisions. I *love* it. I don't use the multi/alternate builds, but that's another option that I hear people having great success with (especially on the Brute forums). As you can see, I didn't even take Unstoppable, on this build, and on my other Inv builds I only use it as a mule for Impervium (5 pcs. incl. psi resist). I should also note that my build is in homage to @Heraclea, god rest their soul, and I built him after Hera announced their illness, during a Tanker Tuesday event. Found out that it is a ridiculously durable combo.

You are correct. Didn't think it took Gaussians, but just checked Mids and it does. I stand corrected. My comment about putting the +chance for Build Up in Invincibility still stands... 🙂

Also a very nice build. You can see where priorities can be completely adjusted. Compare the Recovery, EndDrain, +EndRdx, +ToHit and +Recharge, as well. Besides, if you're not getting hit, you don't need Regen 😆. One Invuln note though, a Gaussian in Invincibility procs constantly and, since DM doesn't have any sort of "build up", it really helps. Might consider moving one Taunt slot to there.

Given the 8 man criteria, a Controller might also be considered. My Ice/Emp, on Live with just SOs, was a boon to any team...obviously back when teamwork mattered 😆

90% is the cap, but if you have enough DDR, you really won't need to cap Resist. My SD/WM tank (no buffs, no MoT proc, no Incarnates) looks like this and he's pretty much unkillable (with 60/51/54 Def in positionals). Add Melee Incarnate and he's capped in S/L and almost in E/N.

My pleasure, for sure. NUTCRCKR and the gang were a g-d wrecking crew and defeated Crimson robot-douchebag before the 33rd minute (at +2, since we had a couple non-incarnates). @Warboss...goes a long way to explaining why the Rad tank(s) struggled [for the first time in a LONG time]... Glad I brought a shield tank. 😝

IOs - There are a couple of "classic" uniques, I don't see. Unbreakable Guard 7.5% HP, Shield Wall +5% Def/teleport, Panacea +HP, Power Transfer +HP, Numina's Convalescense Heal/Recovery, Miracle +Rec..not to mention save up for the Brute AT sets. MOAR FURY! Tough - See the aforementioned UG +7.5% HP, add a slot and UG Res/End and run it all the time (which also gives a global 2.5% reduction in end use) 🙂 BA - Absolutely! Why not get free damage and free taunt? Yet another power to accept uniques or AT specials. It takes PBAOE Damage, Taunt/Threat and AT sets. Avalanche unique will have KD, Fury of the Gladiator unique is Res debuff, damage procs galore....not to mention alot MOAR FURY, if you put the AT special in it. Finally, I'd take one of your three slots in Stamina and move it to Health. Then two slot Stamina with PS EndMod and +End proc, backfilling Consume, with the sixth piece of PS. That bonus is 7.5% Jump/Fly/Run, so you could reassess the use of Synapses in PP (if it were the run speed you were looking for) and consider the Power Transfer, for even more free HP (and 6% Regen if you replaced both with PT). Then with Health, you can add the Panacea +HP and move the PM +Absorb from Healing Flames and back fill with the remaining PM (looks like Heal/End is left). Adds a few more HP and a bit less End per click. Well thought out concept. I like it!

THUGSRUS can solo +4/8 with bosses (but only S/L farms or general content...fire farms are a bit too much), but +3/8 is more enjoyable, as @Apparition mentioned.
