  1. Was vote 99...in before the hunny! Still 42%
  2. ...and watching the tank in Granite form do the staff breakdance is hilarious!
  3. It's the purple icon: And even more easily missed in the combat log, as there is a generic mention of "Your attack strength has increased temporarily"...
  4. Superior Entomb -chance for +absorb. Great call. Rather than lose the 5% F/C def with the SBC set, I take Pyre Epic and slot it in Char...also for ST holds like Sappers.
  5. It wasn't in the "patch" notes?
  6. MA is great, and the animations are hilarious, while in Granite form. I'm an old-schooler, so SS is what I pair it with. Rage helped with the penalties and a giant rock monster foot stomping is a sight to behold. Stone Melee is also solid, but an end hog.
  7. On sale now for $15M.
  8. Excellent points. Looking at my own "granite-less" build with PLVRIZR, with Rooted on the numbers for DefDR/EndDR/RecDR are 51.9%/86.5%/86.5%. Turning it off drops them to 34.6%/0%/0%. That alone should justify keeping it...and it's available at lvl 8.
  9. Thanks KK, yes, sarcasm is difficult on message boards and e-mail. Agree with the incarnate assessment and great questions about opponents, as well. Infinitum's Inv builds are a great blend of Def and Res, so lots of the defense debuff and resist issues should be covered. P.S. LOL at the edit note 🙂
  10. Two words: Foot Stomp Yes, I'm super old-school, playing Inv/SS tanks. Right after the aggro nerf, which eliminated the fire tank dumpster diving, when Inv/SS tanks were the kings of S/L farming..and still going, today. Nothing is quite as satisfying as FS, every 7 or 8 seconds (with Hasten running). NUT is my absolute go-to, when just wanting to have fun on a +4/8 ITF, fire farm or exempting down to Posi (or any other TF).
  11. Are all your toggles on? 😆 I used Infinitum and Hyperstrike's template(s), with SS, and some mods so I can support fire farming. 12. I LOL'd at this 🤣
  13. Gaussian proc in Invincibility, for sure. Goes off, constantly. Inv has Dull Pain, so you're over-slotted in Health (my opinion) and Stamina. No real need for tiny (by comparison) chance-to-heal procs. No Whirling Mace? Gotta have an AOE! Speaking of, I moved the ATOs around and slotted most of the winter sets, so your damage isn't as high (or procc-ey), but your Def is outstanding. Finally, you're a tank, so if people are dying around you, you're not doing your job ;-), so Vengeance is counter-intuitive. I'd drop leadership for the Fighting pool (Kick/Boxing, Tough and Weave) and your choice of another Epic/Mu power. I fiddled and rebuilt (actually blew it up a bit) and came up with this: https://www.midsreborn.com/builds/download.php?uc=1386&c=687&a=1374&f=HEX&dc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umbers are with no buffs, 1 mob for Invinc, no ATOs, procs, Incarnates or specials. These numbers are with 10 mobs for Invinc, one stack of MoT, all procs, Resilient Alpha and Melee Hybrid incarnates (at T4): Again, you give up damage output for durability...but that's the way I roll. YMMV.
  14. Truer words have never been spoken. No contest.
  15. The perma-Forge from the (untouchable) Seneschal is also awfully nice for damage toons/farmers, as well.
  16. I'm super old-school, for sure (pre-I1, retail), but I'll throw the classic option of Inv/SS. The ultimate all-around tank, IMHO.
  17. My Thugs/Dark is THUGSRUS. Hero, shmeero. Thugs: T-Bone, Stacks, Ice Box Enforcers: Bootsie, Pistol Pete Bruiser: Big Al
  18. Solid, for sure. I'm about to finish my SD/DM (anti-ASF) build and we'll see how he does. https://www.midsreborn.com/builds/download.php?uc=1511&c=711&a=1422&f=HEX&dc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
  19. Fun times, for sure. Moved Mace over there to sharpen my shield game, considering the new difficulty settings and had a ball. Thanks again for leading WB and thanks to Ronin for leading the MoMC. See you next week!
  20. Apologies, I forgot about your ask, in my glee of seeing even better Def/Res numbers 😆 Yes, looks like it's a second damage (fire over time), to damaging attacks (including AOE), but nothing added for a toggle AOE, like Mud Pots. Took PLV in for a quick look and here are the numbers, against +4 Council: Jab - 48.53, three hits. Once had no proc, once was 2 x 7.43 fire dot, once was 3 times 7.43 Haymaker - 117.05, three hits. Twice was 2 x 10.29, once was 3 x 10.29 KOB - 254.22, three hits. Once was one proc for 15.31, once was 2 x 15.31, once was 3 x 15.31 Stomp - 101.59, when proc'd, added 69.6 for Armageddon, plus 4.43 and, as above, ranging from 1x, 2x and max 3x dot So if it averages 1.5 procs, over time, that's a 23% increase in damage for Jab. I'd call that "significant"...but it drops off rapidly, the more damaging the attack at 13% for Haymaker and 9% for KOB (and fairly insignificant for an AOE like Stomp (6.6%).
  21. Solid build, for sure. I didn't go line by line to compare, but here's mine. Thinking SD/DM will be one of the top tier combos, for the new difficulty settings, I modified my SD/WM and came up with this: https://www.midsreborn.com/builds/download.php?uc=1505&c=708&a=1416&f=HEX&dc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m just finishing up his incarnates and he'll be even stronger, but without any ATOs or Incarnates added, he looks like this: End Rec is complete overkill, but allows taking Rebirth (instead of my usual pick of Ageless, for the Hybrid slot), since SD has no native heal and Siphon Life is pretty weak (~350 HP, when it hits). Finally, I built "Mace to the Face" when I was poorer, so you'll notice the build has three yellow sets (2 x Multi-Strike and Crushing Impact), instead of the Winters or purples, so no procs for holds or extra damage...but the tankiness is unbelievable, even with a semi-budget build. If I can get him done by 8PM EST, I'll bring NECROTANK to Torch for Tanker Tuesday. If not, I'll probably just bring Mace...
  22. Same, here:
  23. That's now even stronger, Granite-less. Broke out my titular toon and loaded him up in Indom. Current in-game stats, Granite off, no procs, ATOs or incarnates: vs. pre-page 3 upates (DDR unchanged at 51.9%): All the changes are delineated in the issue notes, but moving 5% here and 6% there and buffing Brimstone (actual number is 99.59% res F/C) makes the non-Granite build even stronger. I still have Granite as my "oh-$hit" emergency button, however 😜. Mostly stolen from Bopper and Hyper, but here's PLVRIZR, if anyone's interested in a completed SS build: https://www.midsreborn.com/builds/download.php?uc=1500&c=717&a=1434&f=HEX&dc=78DA6594CB4F135114C667DAA95068A150A04081D2F26A0B0C2D60E233C6081A851A0284859BA6C1B134E2B49956234B1351DC6AA289F18189EF855BFF135FE07B8D9AB872550FFD3E0A499BB4BF7BCF3DF77EDF3D73A689AB13AE37A7AE1D5354D789E5543E9F9C4F99170DCB9148A5338B8A7C5C33D30BB3A7CFCD26AF8CEBB12A09B4232339615C30CCBCA1CF15B2A6913C6E5DCA5A7E2E258C6543162EE7643C57B00C335D589283B2D9657DDA48E53266DA5D9A9CCCA4970A326B2CCDE665572E6B1552854CD6ACDFC93E6F58F9A54CCE3B99CB2CEA93A661A557928954BE60582BADE2262CDF0DA7FCA8DB668B0EA55906714DB1359153F612B5BFA0CB83789D171CAA51F891BDB734E4AE81FB6E9237C0EA55F23AB829BA2A7435352483014D69EC029B0264106C1985FE67D963A79E3D010F2D2DC24E4DE9388B79870FF3E014E63DFB31D7C5AB837B1D1BBCCF27B0F523F9016C7F4FBE03BF8A6E15BCDAAB786ECD3C19404E90FA5F24D7C97A3A9FE0AE5DEBE463F211D8FD907C008E88C75A78546AF3B652CC276DE3464C75FBA1D5BD89359BACD533BF7E15B16FA2DF40AF0DAC6B0FEBDACBBAF6B2AE71D1F3B226DE41ECEF8D820311324C0E80917EF0BBE83443476D66DFF4B33FECE2CB470F3E7A88D043841EA2F4F043CE69E3FDDA76CE61FF8D8A3F7FA9398B0EFF2BE8069F82FD2FC1A117E473F219D7C543276BD3D98EBAFD14AD00B5026E6844FFB1C7253F44CF21FAE8E17DA2ECF7387D8D8BAF3ED6ADEF28F4868F9087C19143E441F200D8203A61D62D4C9D3875C6E4DC41FA1B5C534A7D3BBC0AAE8B4D1DFB14FDBE9CE5D594D7D218319E15BB87F3E3B7F99CB4F27B5DECD0CAEFE9F6B45854A6F746F661C78CC60D1253FD4A29B655537E4B157518B15F7B6361C47EEFC66CEA162A5AB7805B79CEE049FFD99B43B71EBA6DBC03462B9CC62A22F18AC8584564BC22E2F494FF3B8AD53E11E3F86D68777CD7BB3BFE0FFC4EDBBF
  24. Here's the Inv/SS Lvl 12 (powers to 16), all IO'd out. Four attacks: Brawl, Jab, Kick and Sands of Mu (well, plus Blackwand, but not part of the rotation). I had to switch from Hand Clap to Tough, for survivability, but it would come at 18, for sure. Sands has a long enough recharge that it doesn't make end an issue, either. Downsides: Sprint, Athletic Run and Steam Jump are the travel powers. Any jetpack can be added, considering this thing isn't cheap, even at lvl 17. Also hadn't considered the freebie drone shield, and it puts S/L resist to almost the cap, when up. Went back in and tackled the Council in AE. Not *quite* as effortless as the 22 (powers to 26) build, but stood up solo, in +3/x4 (usually 8 bad guys, total). 90% vs. 68% resists means life vs. death. https://www.midsreborn.com/builds/download.php?uc=768&c=409&a=818&f=HEX&dc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
