  1. Great points, all, and one of the reasons discussions like this are helpful for everyone, especially when it's not an "apples to apples" build comparison...because it brings even further perspective, into view. Honestly, all my tanks take Fighting (even though the top-end Inv ones don't even run the Tough toggle...it's just a mule), and rather than leave Kick un-enhanced, that's where the FF goes. I'm not chasing perma-Hasten, by any means, and Kick rarely is in my attack rotation, unless I situationally need the chance for a +recharge. I would consider myself a "Min/Maxxer", but only as it relates to survivability, on tanks. I have some RP caveats, however, especially as it relates to the +chance to heal procs. Personally, I can't stand the green +numbers, hovering over my tanks. Squishies and Brutes, fine, but not my meat shields. "we don't need no stinkin' 50 HP every now and then"... IMHO, if you need that to save your arse, you've got bigger problems with the situation (or your build)... I'll liken it to my real life: In 2002, I finally was at a point in my professional life, that I could afford ordering a new car and paying MRSP. I traded my 1998 Ford SVT Mustang Cobra (Bright Atlantic Blue, bought pre-owned in 2000), for a 2003 Ford SVT Mustang Cobra...Ford code named - the "Terminator" (Sonic Blue, supercharged 4.6 DOHC, six speed, IRS), which I ordered from the factory. At the time, the Bassani or Borla X-pipe and straight through mufflers were making the most horsepower, on the dyno, but I stuck with the factory H-pipe and Flowmaster chambered mufflers, because I wanted the musclecar rumble, not the NASCAR scream. While I gave up ~15-20 RWHP, I enjoyed every minute of my time behind the wheel, because it sounded like I wanted (and it still put down 400+ RWHP and ran a 12.5 @ 115, with a rookie [me] behind the wheel)....same reason I forgo the Panacea and other +chance for HP procs. ***as an aside, my Cobra drowned, two weeks short of its 14th birthday in Baton Rouge, during the "Great Flood" of August 2016, with 51K original miles on the ODO. A total loss. I don't enjoy the time "behind the wheel" of my tanks, with green numbers hovering over me. But that's just me. If it works for anyone else, I shall not judge.
  2. Hera will be sorely missed. Always enjoyed the battle cries, in Latin, of course. Godspeed, hero.
  3. Thanks, Ronin, you beat me to it (exact same shot I had).
  4. Nosfera-too - Vampire themed Kin/Dark Defender Lich-ilicious - Necro/Dark MM MISSADVENTUR - Inv/SS tank THUGSRUS - Thugs/Dark MM The Atomic Warden - Rad/Rad Defender Marshal Mayhem - Fire/MA tank
  5. I don't have a WP/SJ combo, but here's my WP/Fiery Melee build. Other than WP's usual DDR issue, he's very durable. My SJ tank is Inv/SJ and I took all the SJ attacks...but not sure they'll all fit, considering this build (which includes the Fighting pool). Many will chime in and poo-poo the WP T9 power (Strength of Will), but I took it and use it, with great effect. It's not really an oh-$hit button, per se, but does really speed up recovery, and has a nice boost to the resistances, which are not capped, kinda like using Dull Pain on a Inv tank, not as a heal, but a buff. The "crash" isn't bad at all, even without a blue skittle in your tray. https://www.midsreborn.com/builds/download.php?uc=1433&c=707&a=1414&f=HEX&dc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 EBF7971AE25F35D8FF0327D9D234
  6. Solid build, for sure. I didn't modify my "titular" toon, after the stone upgrade, but he just got better. I'll attach the data chunk, for comparison (even though it's SS, rather than ice). Suggestions: 1. Put the S.Av KD proc in mud pots....it creates a psuedo-ice patch effect, with constant knock down. 2. As badass as stone armor is now, I still have granite as an "oh-$hit" button, so I'd recommend you make room for it, as well. https://www.midsreborn.com/builds/download.php?uc=1544&c=725&a=1450&f=HEX&dc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
  7. First, with 1,000 character slots...do them both! Second, Stone/Dark "pales" in comparison, once you see the stone tank animations, in Granite form, doing high/spinning/somersault kicks 😁
  8. 🤣
  9. My pleasure and thanks to everyone who came out. WE NEED MOAR TANKS!!! 🙂 The last Khan mish was long, but Reich went down like a... /radio edit/, so I consider it a success, fo sho. 1:22 (30 of it just killing Reich) for six tanks at +1 is a win, in my book! See YOU ALL, next week 🙂
  10. Thank you, Sir! Often overlooked, as a taunt set, the PZ-6/6 bonuses are quite nice (not to mention the chance for psi damage on a T1 attack, and it's not unique, so you can still use the proc solo on Taunt): P.S. See you, tonight, for Tanker Tuesday on Torch.
  11. Mine is SD/WM and my focus was to maximize positional defenses, first, then add as much resistance, as I could. This is the layout and the numbers are without ATOs, procs or Incarnates. With those added, he's pretty much unkillable. Most impressive, to me, is Shield gets it done with three yellow/"inexpensive" sets: 2 x Multi-Strike and one set of Crushing Impact. Here's the data chunk: https://www.midsreborn.com/builds/download.php?uc=1557&c=724&a=1448&f=HEX&dc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
  12. Was vote 99...in before the hunny! Still 42%
  13. ...and watching the tank in Granite form do the staff breakdance is hilarious!
  14. It's the purple icon: And even more easily missed in the combat log, as there is a generic mention of "Your attack strength has increased temporarily"...
  15. Superior Entomb -chance for +absorb. Great call. Rather than lose the 5% F/C def with the SBC set, I take Pyre Epic and slot it in Char...also for ST holds like Sappers.
  16. It wasn't in the "patch" notes?
  17. MA is great, and the animations are hilarious, while in Granite form. I'm an old-schooler, so SS is what I pair it with. Rage helped with the penalties and a giant rock monster foot stomping is a sight to behold. Stone Melee is also solid, but an end hog.
  18. On sale now for $15M.
  19. Excellent points. Looking at my own "granite-less" build with PLVRIZR, with Rooted on the numbers for DefDR/EndDR/RecDR are 51.9%/86.5%/86.5%. Turning it off drops them to 34.6%/0%/0%. That alone should justify keeping it...and it's available at lvl 8.
  20. Thanks KK, yes, sarcasm is difficult on message boards and e-mail. Agree with the incarnate assessment and great questions about opponents, as well. Infinitum's Inv builds are a great blend of Def and Res, so lots of the defense debuff and resist issues should be covered. P.S. LOL at the edit note 🙂
  21. Two words: Foot Stomp Yes, I'm super old-school, playing Inv/SS tanks. Right after the aggro nerf, which eliminated the fire tank dumpster diving, when Inv/SS tanks were the kings of S/L farming..and still going, today. Nothing is quite as satisfying as FS, every 7 or 8 seconds (with Hasten running). NUT is my absolute go-to, when just wanting to have fun on a +4/8 ITF, fire farm or exempting down to Posi (or any other TF).
  22. Are all your toggles on? 😆 I used Infinitum and Hyperstrike's template(s), with SS, and some mods so I can support fire farming. 23. I LOL'd at this 🤣
  24. Gaussian proc in Invincibility, for sure. Goes off, constantly. Inv has Dull Pain, so you're over-slotted in Health (my opinion) and Stamina. No real need for tiny (by comparison) chance-to-heal procs. No Whirling Mace? Gotta have an AOE! Speaking of, I moved the ATOs around and slotted most of the winter sets, so your damage isn't as high (or procc-ey), but your Def is outstanding. Finally, you're a tank, so if people are dying around you, you're not doing your job ;-), so Vengeance is counter-intuitive. I'd drop leadership for the Fighting pool (Kick/Boxing, Tough and Weave) and your choice of another Epic/Mu power.
