Seeding the market would reduce Hamidon to a glorified merit farm. At least the unique drops still make the endgame battle have a point. And everyone knows what the good items are. Short of a new exploit, its near impossible to say something here that would change the prices on the market.

The 100 number is tied to the zone. The red side giant monsters spawn after 100 of the correct mob have been defeated in the zone. I can defeat 50 today, someone else defeats 49 tomorrow and a 3rd person kills 1 mob on the next day and the GM would spawn. 100 might not seem like much but it is the current going rate for repeatedly resummonable giant monsters. I personally feel like they spawn often enough if their summoned mobs had a despawn timer.

I thought for hami-o's to be convertible, they would need to be made into a 'set'. That would make it where you could only use 1 of each type in a power, not 2 or more of end/to hit/def or acc/dam like people do now.

Im sure some people are salty about the secret server stuff but not me. Im more impressed by the fact that a group larger than 2 could keep a secret for longer than a week. I had time to do a bunch of other stuff during those years and dont feel obligated to be online now that it isnt a subscription.

I believe female skulls dont count towards the badge and in order to add them, players current progress towards the badge would have to get reset.

1 hp max should trigger the anti 1 shot code. If you take a hit at 100% hp that should 1 shot you, you are left at 1 hp instead. That should make you invincible unless there is more to the coding to detect you are at 1 hp max. We can get to 1 hp against the crimson prototype but its not common.

The 3 paladin construction sites are independent of each other meaning there can be several events in close succession as well. It averages out to 12 hour spawn rate.

Its possible the low resolution stuff has a perfectly viewable image in the game files but it got squashed down to the size of the item ingame and lost alot of detail. The more detailed items had their images made to fit the item so detail wasnt lost. That, or its a conspiracy perpetrated by the alter ego disguise company to get you to buy prescription glasses instead of empty frames to keep your identity secret.

I wouldnt mind having a vote to demote if someone is idle long enough to get the afk tag. When we're partway through a TF and the leader just stops moving, it kinda sucks. Its great that you made it in time to stop the baby from grabbing the cat barf just so they can make a boom-boom so big that it runs up their entire back so you had to wash, dry and clothe your child before cleaning up after the cat. What about that means we have to all wait around for the next mission, assuming that the team thinks you are coming back at all and didnt disband already?

Rage is getting the defense crash removed and the damage crash is going from -10000% to -200% but only if you dont double stack. If you do double stack then the defense crash remains and the damage crash is -500%. Super reflexes scaling damage resist starts at 80% (up from 60%) and reaches is max effectiveness at 20% (up from 0%). The total resist value remains unchanged, it just takes full effect before you are dead. Storm cell is removed because too many people complained about it and is replaced with voltaic sentinel. All abilities that were improved by storm cell had no changes even though their utility is diminished. All their descriptions still reference storm cell to remind people what happens when they whine too much. Regen got deleted and every character that was using regen as a secondary will now have willpower instead. A free respec and the worlds smallest violin will be credited to the affected characters. Badge count will be capped at 1200. All current badges will still exist but once you hit 1200 you can no longer earn badges on that character. Choose what you want wisely because this could prevent you from getting accolade powers.

Several posts from newly returning players got me thinking about how i stumbled into finding City of Heroes was back and i was wondering how others may have found their way here. I try to spread the word that City of Heroes is up and running but im sure some methods have had more reach than others. The poll has what i felt are the most common ways to find Homecoming and im not sure if they can be edited so there is a catch all choice. Vote if you would like to, you can leave a story too and if something else was how you found Homecoming, it would be great to hear about it. My story goes - I knew of city of titans and of the glacial pace of development so i would check back every few months to see if the project would ever get launched (i think they are a few years behind at this point). One of the times i checked on the project, i decided to do a search on why it was taking so long. Scrolling through the search results was a snippet of a comment that basically said dont wait for city of titans, just play city of heroes. What were they talking about? City of Heroes was gone. So i searched City of Heroes and pretty quickly found the Homecoming forums.

I would enjoy some of the peacebringer abilities being made into luminous blast, luminous melee and luminous armor. Ive tried recoloring other power sets but i just see energy blast but its white, energy melee but its white, invulnerability but its white. A bunch of people can head canon a recolor into a different power but i cant. Peacebringer abilities are the same effects from other power sets but they pewpew in a way that feels like light.

Its also possible to get stuck when teleporting to Glacia, part 4 i think.

You asked to point out any power creep if we see it so ill mention what i see. A new form with 4 powers means that pick would give you 4 extra slots. The next 2 powers are a wild card slot and the last 2 powers are both 2 wild card slots. You will end up with 6 more slots than kheldians currently have if you select all the powers. You could skip the new form and the powers at 35 38 41 and 44 could just be 4 slots and 2 bonus slots to place anywhere instead of the first slot being locked to its power. Kheldians are kinda a mess when it comes to the amount of powers they have and there are several situations where a power is taken and left as 1 slot and never used. Being able to shift slots from unused power picks into useful abilities would be power creep. That doesnt make it a good or a bad thing though, just that it would exist. Maybe it would be the boost that kheldians need to see a bit more game time. I rarely see any as things are now. From a technical standpoint, there is nothing in the game currently that lets you get a bonus slot. I heard the retail devs tried a bonus slot back in the pay to win days and it screwed with the game engine in new and exciting ways to the point that they gave up on the money and scrapped the idea. The current devs have shown ability to make the previously impossible into a reality so maybe this wouldnt be a problem.

Certainly copies and counterfeits exist in the real world, but we are playing a comic book super hero game. Much less often do you see generic copies of the heroes special gear in use in the comics. Its also not the legal system so precedent doesnt mean much either. Ive mostly seen the current devs leave the unique npc stuff in reserved status so we should consider it an uphill climb to convince them otherwise. We have X so give us Y might not be enough to crest the hill. At least if i was a dev it wouldnt convince me.

Ill try to offer some helpful tips since the bug report is lacking on important information. Your internet between your home and your service provider may be perfect but your isp doesnt connect directly to homecomings server. It hops through multiple ISPs on its way to the homecoming ISP. Its much more likely that a lag report from a single player is caused by packet loss somewhere along the route instead of the destination. Try running ping plotter or any other program that can check for packet loss along the entire route. The team here is a bunch of programmers and number crunchers and showing them some data that shows they are the cause will encourage their action much more likely than your ISP doesnt like Asia will. Edit ('your' was intended to refer to HC, not the OP. I see that saying 'their' would have been more clear, my bad).

Fun one about malaise costume parts being available, someone was asking for the top and bottom pattern to line up and the response was that is supposed to be a dev only costume part. And if i find the post where a dev said we only got the aeon gloves because they were no longer unique to a signature npc, ill link it. That indicates to me that the current devs are less likely to make all npc items automatically available.

Its not a set in stone rule, but in general, most signature NPCs with unique items arent made available to players. We got aeon gloves when the gold brickers got them which made them not unique. There are about a million carnie masks so those were never unique. Cool NPC stuff does get made available and if shadow hunters spear is just cool looking spear and not cool looking spear of 1 of a kind magical artifact forged in the heart of a dying star and can never be remade, then sure.

I rarely get an SO drop that i would use and 3 times more rare is that i would have 3 to combine into something else. With SO vendors all over it would be easier to sell 3 bad drops and buy what i need.

If they arent supposed to be unique artifact type weapons that are specific to the character then sure. I dont know about shadow hunter but i think valkyrie's sword or spear granted her power.
