  1. I think the team didnt want to do 'choose between this or that power' again after the difficulties of making it work in super reflexes. But having a powerset lose functionality is also something they try to avoid. You may be able to convince them to roll beanbag effects into another power.
  2. It would help my masterminds feel more mastermind-y if the henchmen had some options to look more like groups that exist ingame. Im not sure we would want direct copies though. It wouldnt be an issue for me, but having an enemy group fight itself might not sit well with everyone.
  3. There was a iMSR league invite bug but i dont know if this is related to it. It was something along the lines of if someone left the league, you couldnt invite anymore if there were any gaps on any team. Moving people to refill each team in order to 8 members would correct the problem. I dont know what error message was given since i wasnt the leader or person being invited at the time. And unfortunately the person with the details has been away from the game so i cant verify the details anymore.
  4. Either way if the set is good or bad, now is the time to leave feedback in the beta section. Its much easier to convince the devs of changes before something makes it to the live servers.

Ive thought of this before and while it does bring a bit of the hazard back for high level players, it removes quite a bit of the hazard to low level players since they would have no chance to encounter spawns full of purple minions. The entire zone becomes 'flat' in regard to enemy difficulty so one area cant be easy while somewhere else is hard. I still like the idea but it would probably need seperate implementation. Im thinking a recluses victory situation but extended further out into the city where stronger and better geared mobs would make more sense. Hellions and Skulls are fun to beat down, but they are small time in Paragon City and shouldnt pose a threat to a high level hero. An alternate timeline Perez Park would be totally fine for this type of thing though.

  7. The kronos titan is definitely broken. I did the mission on Torchbearer and went to atlas park after. Turns out atlas is a safe zone and no spawn was allowed there which makes sense so i went to skyway and killed it......5 times. I am certain that 4 other people on torch didnt spawn a kronos in skyway with me, it just kept respawning near me each time it was killed. For the more regular zone events, i want to go inside the buildings that arent accessible. In the burning one to rescue citizens, in the troll rave one to stop them from juicing up on superadine. And i would like to see larger resistance to our efforts as we are successful. Have a hellion elite boss come to put more fire on the building and supa trolls that actually are supa. Have all the enemies in zone events be the level less variety so i can bring my lvl 50 and have something to do other than let my damage aura kill everything. And have level less enemies in the +1 +2 +3 +4 variety so they arent all white, lets get some orange and reds going.
  8. Delete or rename your playerslot.txt file as mentioned above and then launch the game. The game checks for that file first to display your characters and any errors can cause existing characters to not show up or be hundreds of slots away in the wrong position. Without that file the game checks the server for all existing characters and makes a new playerslot.txt file. So if somehow the character was gone, the team may or may not be able to help. But if the character is still there then they will tell you to delete the playerslot.txt file to fix it. So you can speed up things for yourself and verify if the team needs to be involved by doing what they will ask of you ahead of time.
  9. I dont think the bomb lockout can be circumvented. Im pretty sure adding a fresh member to a team with a locked member prevents them from planting a bomb. With several people you could farm Ukon but not bombs. Have the bomb planters on their own team so each can plant a bomb to spawn Ukon, then merge the team for the fight and swap around for the next run.

  11. In before its moved to archtypes forum! I use dark melee on my tank, the extra coverage on shadow maul is very worth it in my opinion. I cant help with fire armor though, ive never played that set.
  12. There would be a few hurdles, one that biostem already mentioned. The awesome bases tend to have thousands of objects and npc pathing was removed because it made them extremely laggy. But pvp was brought back to bases so npc pathing may have been partially (or fully?) solved if pets can move around. The mob spawn locations arent random on any map, they are predefined locations that mobs are allowed to spawn at. Its the same for blinkies and hostages in regard to spawning at predetermined locations. Bases also lack the front, middle, back areas that AE maps have for influencing where certain spawns would be. All of these definitions would need to be manually added to the map. One more issue is with permission to use the base. Im sure alot of people would love if their base became a mission map but there are also those who wouldnt. And while we dont own what we do ingame in a strict legal sense, i highly doubt the team would take a base and make it into a map without the creators permission. There are some awesome bases and they could be home to some awesome missions but they arent as close to PvE ready as a base tour makes them look. The hurdles can probably be overcome, but they are still hurdles that would need time. If the team decides to take on the project, i wouldnt expect it to be usable any time soon.
  13. Seeing how i was churning and bubbling a presence pool rework but still havent gotten around to suggesting it, yes, i would like provoke to suck less. I hate the fact that a click power is weaker than an inherent as well. I made a sentinel tank (tankinel) and even if i click provoke first, as soon as the tank or brute land a punch, i have no agro at all. I play tanks alot and i even think that a click power (provoke) should be more powerful than an auto ability (gauntlet) for the duration.
  14. It looks similar to beast run to me. Her knees and elbows are more extended to raise the body further from the ground but the movement is almost the same.
  15. I keep a stack of Ambrosia in my email and pass one out during a random raid. Its bonus points when the person asks where it came from and double bonus points when my friends say they added a small chance for them to drop.
  16. I would have been more shocked if the game was still the exact same after a year offline. This subject was talked to death months ago though so ill refrain from restating old opinions.
  17. I find synapse to be just slightly more monotonous than citadel. Taking a league of 44 people along with a bit of extra coordination to get 8 or more simultaneous babbages is its saving grace though. If any changes are to be made, be sure and place the originals in ouro.
  18. My understanding is that this information is accessible to a GM. But knowing what nightmare you are missing doesnt help much. My guess is that most people at 15/16 are missing Kronos. At least in my experience thats the one people are always needing. We ran a farm and a bunch of people were at 14/16 and 15/16. I brought a 0/16 and we farmed it for over 3 hours. I completed 16 with that kronos after 3 hours but it was the one everyone else needed too. I find it unlikely that so many people at 14 and 15 were all missing kronos if they have equal chance of spawning.
  19. In the developers corner forum there are volunteer recruitment topics with quite a few people offering their services. I cant say why they choose to be the size team that they are, but if they wanted/needed more, they have available offers. More specifically in response to hi-res faces, just add them as a new option with hi-res tacked on the name. Face 1, Face 1 hi-res. Alien, Alien high-res. That gives high res options without removing anything. It might not be something the devs are working on though. But if a player with the ability took the time to make a set of high resolution faces and offered them to the team, i imagine they would have a good chance of being used.
  20. I would prefer while in taskforce mode - once someone exits a complete mission, a 30 second timer starts and everyone is exited from the mission when the timer finishes. Sometimes people need to afk but the rest of us dont need to wait for the cat barf to get cleaned before the baby finds it.
  21. Slapstick Assault - Defeat your enemies while simultaneously insulting their intelligence and providing comic relief. Pie in the Face - damage your enemy and lower their accuracy Glove Slap - damage your enemy and increase your defense and the damage of their next attack 'BANG' - pull out a pistol and just as the enemy thinks they will be shot, a tiny flag that says 'bang' comes out of the barrel, leaving them stunned Lapel Water Gun - catch your enemy off guard with this water gun. Lowers their defense and recharge Squeaky Hammer - leave your enemy confused with minor damage from the squeaky hammer Pie in the Sky - rain pie down on your enemies creating a large area that can knock down your foes Hand Buzzer - offer a truce only to zap your enemies, leaving them held Hat Trick - deal damage, lower resistance, and lower regeneration. The triple threat TNT - wire up some TNT and push the lever doing massive damage, be careful though as the wires might be backwards......
  22. I ran into more teams that are in speed mode with less communication on excel. Thats just to say that the player experience does vary quite a bit between servers, not that fast and quiet teams are wrong in any way. Torch has less population but alot of quality players, probably have to form most low level groups yourself though as ive never been sniped for DFB on a new character here. Everlasting has alot of population like Excel but many of them are in Pocket D or a superbase doing roleplaying stuff. I dont roleplay so i havent spent much time there. Indom has a low population as well. Im going to call it the quiet server but only based on my short time there. I made a character at an indom players forum request. I tried to greet everyone online and got no response. I do like quiet but that was too quiet. Reunion is the european server. That is to say the server is actually in europe. I never made a character there but european players probably get alot better latency with that server.
