  1. So RSF and STF are meant to be two of the most difficult task forces in the game. Obviously, with incarnates and IOs that difficulty is a lot less, but some teams still struggle (there was a thread about it recently). However..the difficulty of the two is far and away skewed, with STF never fighting more than 4 Avs at once (which are easily seperated) and a final fight of just one AV, Lord Recluse. And he sucks. He sucks because he is EASILY gimped by simply flying over him, or, as I saw tonight, spawning a Crafting Station in front of his tower doors. This KEPT his attention the entire time, and just makes a complete mockery of the battle. Make Lord Reculse great again. Give him a Webgrenade power with a HUGE range, easily spammable on silly melees who think 'tanking' means to hover over him. Remove whatever AI block makes him really really HATE those crafting stations. It is meant to be one of the toughest fights in the game.
  2. I do. If you are respec to literally change two powers, and slot placement, and get a tray FULL of temp powers, wtf is that? Maybe a way to save tray configs, and after a respec, it tries to repeat that as accurately as possible?
  3. You NEED a taunt. An auto hit one. Honestly, this whole thread does make me laugh. I mean, it is one thing for an unprepared team to be doing it and wipe, but now, the chances of having EIGHT people who have zero idea about teh task force all being on the one team? Pretty low. And considering how easy it all is, compared to RSF (still, even with IOs and incarnates)...oh no..4 AVs at once. Oh no..1 AV at once. Oh bigger no, one AV at once that you can FLY over and spaz out. Also, empowerment buffs are your friends. End drain, energy res, and recovery. ALl will help.
  4. True. As soon as it happened, I opened my map and combat log, to see who it was. Then I called em out in league and heal and LFG chat.
  5. The worst I have seen is some complete tool on Torchbearer. Doing a BAF, and right at the end, with Siege and NS down to about 2% health each. Then I get a tp prompt request. I take it, assuming (naturally) that its someone using Incandescence. Instead, it this this fool, trying to tp the entire league 200 foot in the air, outside the BAF itself.
  6. This power really NEEDS to be able to slot the Gaussians Proc. The fact every other version of aim/bu can slot that proc, and have like a 95% chance of it going off is just unfair.
  7. You won't 'solve' the issue. Mostly Veats (except crabs) are designed to be mostly all defence, and min resist. If they had a lot, they would be even MORE stupidly powerful. Perhaps the main reason crabs also get a load of resists is that they are more moderate AoE damage. Tough, the 2 +res IOs and barrier should give you enough to survive basically anything.
  8. GOD YES I was thinking of posting this myself. Its just..awful and screen cluttering. I mean the Untouchable text itself. Also noticed teh chains can, and do, hit things like Carrion Creepers (saw it in the healing tab). Is that really by design? Does anything else buff CC, ever? Is CC just sucking up all the targets for the chains?
  9. EA has some decent def debuffing resists. Which is way way better than none at all.
  10. Curious..the elec powers doing more damage to robots..do Robots themselves actually HAVE a lower energy resist, or is it a totally additional effect? I am assuming the latter, or any powers with a /nrg would be doing more. Psi also does jack shit (the reverse) to robots..but the is due to (i think?) large psi resist, and not some special flag on the attacks? Something similar could be done to other powers, selectively letting them do more damage to appropriate targets.
  11. I would have added this to the recent thread that talked about Khleds and pool powers, but couldn't find it! Just now, I went to create some base empowerment buffs, to do Synapse on my WS. I wanted some end drain res and recovery. SO..I went ahead and built em only to find out.. you DO NOT get them in the shapeshift forms! This seems either an oversight, or a load of crap. Every other AT can build these buffs, that help a good deal. But they only work on human khleds. Now, I know that technically knleds already get more than they used to, since I dont recall Inherent Fitness working of the Forms way back (could be wrong). But the fact that now, fitness DOES work on the forms, really implies that you totally should be able to craft a temp buff and have it active all teh time. I mean..its not like if you pop a few lucks in human form, that they suddenly VANISH when you shapeshift..just because reasons. Same with hasten. That works as a human, and carries over to forms, implying, at least to me, it is more of a mental discipline type power, than tied to your human form! I also think some of the pool powers should work for all the shapeshift forms. Obviously things like SS and fly wont work, because the forms get fly, or are slower by design. But why cant hasten be clickable as a squid or dwarf? Especially since things like Secondary Mutation can be (and honestly, how do you mutate..when you are already a squid or lobster?). Likewise, it would make sense for Leadership type powers (which again, are more mental in nature) to remain active too. If things like LoTG 7.5s can remain active (as global rech in set mules) when you change forms, how does it fit that the leadership power its tied to (or hover, or cj. Why cant a nova have hover going as well? Or a dwarf jump a lil higher?) cant be used in other forms? And please..let poor khleds get those empowerment buffs!
  12. Um..what? It aint slow at all. I have zero trouble using it every mob on a TF. lol. I admit, some can be annoying (I still dont like the ally only heal) but junk and underperforming? Ha! A bigger lol. You dont even have all the powers, or that many slots in them. Be realistic. This I kinda agree with. The heal NEEDING an ally is utterly stupid, as I have said before. The other buffs..a lil less so.
  13. Some decent ideas here..but it still comes across as a very 'clicky' set. I like the overheal +absorbs..but think that would encourage idiot auto heal bots, which seem to make up a good whack of Emps as is it. The changes to clear mind..are..well..bad. I like you are trying to come up with new ideas, and ways to make the set LESS click spammy. But no. 120 sec rech, so 60ish, when slotted. With say..10? seconds of heals giving +CM stacks, each stack being Mag2-3. At most you are gonna get 3 healing auras in that 10 seconds, giving almost exactly the same mez prot as current CM. The same problem with Fort. As is, Fort is SO easy to keep on at least 3 or 4 allies. The fact almost emps dont, is because, see above, most emps play like twits. I have no trouble keeping fort on an entire team, and power booster fort on 3. Exchanging that for mirco managing and less uptime? No thanks. Recovery aura..with a 4 sec rech? That is basically just copying Spores from Nature, meaning it would be much less effective. The idea for AdrenBoost..well..it seems like trying to throw almost every buff out, just cause. Not everything needs to be AoE. Points from trying. But the changes are too much.
  14. Counter Proposal..add in Story arcs to unlock ALL blueside epic powers. If you want the patrons to work on good alignments, let's see some balance in the ways all epic/patron pools are unlocked.
  15. So the SS proc +15% run speed is something I would totally never waste a slot on. But I tried slapping it in the elecaff Rez, figuring it would be always on. But it isnt. It only fire when the power is in use. In spite of other, new procs (the end mod + heal for instance) being 'always on.' There are other procs that are active when the power they are slotted in isnt in use, such as Gambler7.5s, or the absorb proc in Hibernate. Making the SS proc always on would make it a bit more useful, or at the very least..update proc descriptions so it is actually obviously if it will be On, or click-activated.
  16. So Nemesisisisis has finally stopped attacking us. Which is a bit sad..in ALL my time playing on Live, there were never any Nem invasions active, so hats off to the Devs for adding them! The Rikti and Nem invasions are good..but how about some others? Also tied into completing task forces (like Rikti and LG) or maybe major story arcs. A lot could include the AV/hero fought is said tf. Such as: Synapse (cause the people who do this pos deserve something cool happen): A clockwork invasion, perhaps with the King/Babbage/paladin showing up. Silver Mantis: Sky Raider assault, perhaps with 'heavy' versions of skyskiffs. Manticore: Crey Invasion. Elite Boss PPE, and the Countess and Hopkins. Tarikoss: A chicken demon invasion led by Bat'Zul. Makes sense, as you do get warned Tarikoss will betray you. Marias Arc: Preatorian Invasion, warwalker elite bosses. Moonfire/Hess: Council invasions, perhaps with Nictus elite boss or council warwalkers, overgrown (eb) wolves, etc. Renault: Coralax invasion. One of the most underused mobs in the game! Shaper av/gm, Coral elite bosses. Sutter: Also preatorians, led by Riptide/Harbriger and co (there are more in their villain group). Imperious: Evil roman invasion! Also with some Nictus throw in, and Elite nictus/ Reichsman: 5th Clumn invasion. Morty Kal: Longbow/Midnight Squad invasion. Makes sense, since you just stole some of posi and numis power. RSF: Longbow, with more bosses and Ballistas (ebs), maybe Heroes like Crimson and Indigo. Market Crash: Sky Raiders! With the biig Crimson bot thing, and Duray. STF: Arachnos. With Arbiter Elite Bosses. ANY Shard tf (since who wants to do those, unless it is a weekly): Ruluruu invasion! Ice Mistral: CoT invasion. With those Blade Prince elite bosses. RSF: Rogue (from the future) ararchnos. Katie: Fir Bolg/Terutha invasion, perhaps with croatoa GMS showing up to.
  17. Something else to think about..the above duo I mention (elec/elec fender and ill/elec troller)..when we both have AMp Up active..we still cant drain a Elite Boss before they die (well quite rarely). Given how much larger their HP pool is, compared to End, that is a bit sad.
  18. While I agree with most of what you have said..this made me LOL. Given how stupidly broke SoC is, on anything, let alone a Permadom..saying your plant is totally fine really doesnt compare to all Doms.
  19. This. While I don't agree purples shouldn't be AH'able...the above is totally true. I know people who spend 90% of time in game farming up their next toon, then IO said toon with money they make..farming. And so on. The fact that a farmer can make such a crazy amount of money compared to the 'actual' game? Pretty sure we were never meant to be able to solo mobs of +3 bosses.
  20. I like it. Have been using in in a duo..my elec/elec fender and a friends ill/elec troller. With AMpUp being swapped, her PA is about perma (with NO IOs) and all our drains and heals are stupid awesome. That said..the +special is of very limited use to some ATs, whereas the +regen/rech AND rech of Adrenaline boost (and AB is on a shorter rech I think?) are good for everyone.
  21. Meaning..a not quite 'proper' khled is gonna suck? Let's be serious, an AT that NEEDS perma capped resists to be good..is a pretty shitty design. Meaning..before IOs, they sucked? Right? Since none of that perma t9, perma build up stuff was possible. Game is still balanced around SOs, and assuming EVERY khled is gonna trick themselves out is kinda silly.
  22. Yes! Some things are REALLY hard to see, especially with more then 2 people throw out stuff. Even things like the redish shields for a -res debuff can be super hard to see against some red colored baddies.
  23. How? Without totally pissing of people, no matter what they do. Adding new content, sure. Changing stuff you view (and may be) broken or bad design? That is gonna be chaos.
  24. Let's not. There are already way too many tanks with no concept of aggro control and position, who try to aggro too much, then act all shocked when a squishy dies.
  25. I have builds with hasten and without. SOme (quite a few) have it because they are non IO'd 50s, and I just took it for extra rech in tough fights. My Dom has perma hasten as a result of aiming for PermaDom. My emp has perma hasten just cause rech is what I went for above all else. One stalker has perma hasten, but only because, after finishing the build in Mids, I saw I could pick it up, and it would be perma. My SS brute doesnt have it, MY main blaster, ditto. Surely a logical (to me) solution..leave Hasten as is, and have a pool power with a decent +rech auto power, exclusive with hasten. Say 20 (the value nearly all major power sets with +rech have) percent.
