  1. There is already a sandbox server, for people that want that. New Dawn is ——> that way. Homecoming isn’t it.
  2. https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Cottage_Rule
  3. Technically, Admiral Sutter TF and Mortimer Kal SF as well, but they are usually led by someone at least level 40 anyway.
  4. I checked the Internet Archive on an off chance it had any copy, but nada. All it has is an older version of the program itself, no source code.
  5. The only people who should be booted from teams due to power picks are petless Masterminds and I suppose Hideless Stalkers now. If you're being booted for power picks otherwise, one star the person, write a note, and then form your own team. I've done so many a time. Also, as far as Penelope Yin TF is concerned... that TF is too short as is and can be sped in under five minutes already. See here if you don't believe me. I really don't think the power levels change will matter much there.
  6. 3. That -regen was being used as a crutch to disguise the robots’ bad damage against everything.
  7. Prior to the Page 5 beta, if you had another stealth toggle (Arctic Fog, Shadow Fall, whatever), and Super Speed, you didn’t need a stealth IO. You could have slotted Super Speed with a speed/endurance reduction enhancement and called it a day. Now, it’s an endurance tax because you need to either replace that enhancement with a stealth IO, or turn on Sprint and slot that with it.
  8. Yes, Super Speed + Stealth Power + Stealth IO always stacked without any detoggling. That is not the case in the Page 5 beta. So yes, there's a nerf.
  9. Homecoming beta no longer supports Tequila. It was stated when Page 4 went into open beta. You need to use the Homecoming launcher.
  10. Welcome back! Most of the player base consolidated on the Excelsior and Everlasting shards, for better or worse.
  11. Test your robots' damage without any -regen, and also test without using a KB to KD IO enhancement in the tier one henchmen. Personally, I only plan on getting and using one personal attack, as the -regen is now just icing on the cake.
  12. A lot of people stack stealth toggles with Super Speed, especially speed runners. Super Speed is pretty much a requirement for speed running. This change is now adding a Sprint with a +stealth IO tax on top of that.
  13. Before any complaints about the move of -regen from the henchmen to the Mastermind, please test the damage of your henchmen! You should see that the increased damage of the henchmen more than makes up for it. If not, report it.
  14. It isn't the first time. It's been this way for *at least* a year when Dr. Quaterfield is one of the weeklies, and I want to say two.
  15. Number Six recently said on Reddit that Homecoming will not shut down any shards, as they (except Reunion), share the same hardware. So shutting down any shard other than Reunion would not save any money. Torchbearer, Indomitable, and Reunion will be left up for those who prefer to strictly solo and/or play on small teams, and everyone else can transfer to Excelsior or Everlasting if they wish.
  16. I just asked around and a couple of good, knowledgeable friends said the same thing. The debuff toggles (Darkest Night, Radiation Infection, etc.), no longer seem as reliable to draw aggro as they were prior to Page 4. @Number Six
  17. Looking at @macskull's player population chart here, you can see that all of the shards got a big spike in activity for the Independence Day weekend and when Page 4 launched, but quickly went back down to their prior states and have remained fairly steady... all except Indomitable and Reunion. Indomitable and Reunion seem to have both lost about a third of their population between May and October of this year. Where they went, to another shard or just left Homecoming, no idea. Their populations were tiny to begin with, so if they migrated to a mixture of Excelsior and Everlasting it'd just be a blip.
  18. I have since experienced this with Darkest Night on Darkness Affinity. It still works to pull most of the time, but sometimes the mobs will just stare at me. It's odd.
  19. Masterminds are good on hard mode ASF. They are okay on hard mode ITF. Masterminds are one of the top two ATs in the game to take out hard targets, and there are a lot of hard targets in hard modes. The issue is that most of the player base that are interested in hard modes won't give them a chance. Same as it always was.
  20. Sorry to hear. It should have never been declared the unofficial PvP server, as PvP is anathema to 99.5% of the player base. Alas.
  21. Generally, when a patch on Brainstorm is near release, the freebies menu is temporarily removed.
  22. At level five or six, every character goes to Pocket D for a talk with Null the Gull. Much like the OP, I deny Speed Boost, deny Group Fly, hide the travel pop-up tray, and deny Mystic Fortune.
  23. Just think of Phantom Army as another attack. One that, with enough recharge, can be made perma.
  24. I hear you, but honestly the players are as much to blame for that as the developers. There are many, many ways to skin the 4* ASF and 4* ITF, but the player base (not the developers), decided that there must be one true way.
  25. I confirmed that build export on Mids' 3.4.7 is indeed broken. I kept a copy of 3.3.1 around. I tried exporting the exact same build on both 3.3.1 and 3.4.7. It works on 3.3.1 (despite the error the forums gave me in the message prior), but it does not work in 3.4.7. I reported it on the Mids' Reborn Discord server.
