It can be good to throw on things. Ahem. I find them to not be useful, personally. I do take Thorntrops on my Thorns, but mostly because I feel like it is the only thing it really brings to the table outside of toxic dots..

This was a common feeling (I feel like until the game died but whatever); people were very, very into Blue and used to it, and there was a lot of dislike for ALL red side ATs (even when they weren't competing) - except for Brute lovers. π

I think there's a huge difference though - in that the Republic side is "stuck" with Jedi whereas the Empire has Sith, which wouldn't be as skewed if they used the same graphics/animations, but there's a huge quality difference between the Lightning/graphics on sith side versus the "force" waves on the jedi side. I also think the "good" choices are very... bland. "Save his life." "Detain him" vs "MURDER THE SCUM BAG" "DESTROY HIS FAMILY." The goody two-shoes of the "good" choices is extreme, whereas the Empire/dark side choices are a lot more edge-lord, lol.

True true. I've always preferred red, since it was released - including their ATs over Blue. There isn't a single AT blue side that I prefer over its red counterpart. Red side ATs were also designed with inherents in mind, whereas blue were given them after the fact to balance with red, which is why I think red's are more interesting. But yeah, DCUO still has a huge disparity between hero/villain, to the point where any "new" hero/villain game should probably avoid splitting the factions, because villain will always be dead in this genre. It's not like Horde vs Alliance, for sure.

Parasitic Aura, Icy Bastion, Meltdown, MoG (just cuz of Regen...) are the only ones worth a dang. The rest are either mules or skipped. Meltdown gets a special nod, because it's really good - it's just in a set that has a lot of really good powers, resulting in you actually noticing that sometimes having a skippable t9 makes life easier.... lol

Quick question - How too boost IOs in the character planner?

As hardship says, both + and = both will increase it, so you shouldn't have an issue. Are you looking at the right thing? It doesn't change the level; they bright teal will say Invention level 50+5 both under the info section and under the name when you hover. Also make sure you have an individua/specific Io selected. If not, you can always raise them for ALL enhancements under slots/enhancements, set all relative levels +5 -
Endurance issues aren't going away π You can build to help with that though (Panacea, Miracle, Numina, Perf Shifter - with elec you can even throw a perf shift into some attacks to proc xD!); defender is actually a little easier IMO on a team to deal with endurance issues, though the ATO for Cor can help too... anyways... storm is generally regarded as a "better on defender" set, but I prefer Cor anyways-- a lot of damage from Storm comes from, well, storm. Specifically the later stuff in the set, and Cors dont really get more damage there than defenders, so defenders tend to win out.

im having a blast with SWTOR despite hating it years ago. Sure, I had to fugging sub(or buy) hotbars, but still having a blast at max level. Who knew... and after their last expansion thing, itβs actually extremely populated. Surprised me.

Agreed; at this point it feels like the T9 should either make a set or fill its holes. For armor, that means they should be filling holes /without/ crashes. icy bastion is great. Granite has way too many downsides. electrical is useless.

I can agree with this. Sonic as a whole felt like they had an idea for Res shields and didn't know what else to do... 1. Sonic Siphon - A single target -Res that does nothing else... Okay buddy. You can tell this wasn't a P2W powerset. They could totally use the Siphon part and increase your own Resist at least 2. Sonic Barrier - Good Resist Shield. 3. Sonic Haven - Good Resist Shield. 4. Sonic Cage - RLY? The "Well we hate this slot you'd be better off with nothing" power 5. Disruption Field - Okay, I can get with this one. A+ 6. Sonic Dispersion - I love this power. Agree that it makes sense for Sleep to be covered here. Like, seriously. SOUND KEEPING ME AWAKE. 7. Sonic Repulsion - Ergh. MISS. MISS. MISS. LOUD NOISE. LOUD NOISE. 8. Clarity - Oh, my pbaoe +resist wasn't enough? No idea what else to do to be a support? So let's give them Clarity, which has nothing except +perception and even then it's the same as the other clear minds? Except it doesn't add +def, or +dmg, or anything else? Oh, and it requires a minimum level of 26? Yah, that's exactly what I look forward to when starting my level 1 journey. Wooh. 9. Liquefy - Skip. SKIP. SKIPPPPP. Hugely long cooldowns (5mins) aren't ever cool, but especially not when they're not even good. Unlike Clarity, where they didn't want to throw anything in, here they decided they were going to throw in everything but the kitchen sink (-Resist) -- little damage, random WEAK MAG2 Hold, Little KD - at least the -tohit and -def are good values, but really it doesn't actually synergize with the rest of Sonic at all and is just... blah. If it weren't for that dang cottage rule this should totally be redone. I n fact. all of sonic should be scrapped except 2,3,5,6. "But OoOh I sometimes use liquefy once every 30 minute play session!!!" yah okay. Now mind you, I have like 6 or 7 at this point level 50 sonics. But it aint cuz of 2 Sonic Cage, that's for sure. -
For every game, it feels like Tuesday is always the maintenance day. Even HC has Tuesday as the maint day! I think maybe EQ2 was Weds if I remember correctly? Other than that, Tuesday is like always the day of choice.... which is pretty funny cuz it means theres just nothing to do on Tuesday mornings! If they were staggered, at least you could spread your wings in between downtimes... π #SWTORisDown #CoHisDown #WoWisDown
