Got my dark/pain troller into the 40s now. Being able to keep the dog buffed with World of Pain and Painbringer, WoP for the Haunts as well, has made this character my goto for a soloing controller. And no, I don't even use possess. It may stay in the build to mule a purple set but it's not going to see much if any use beyond that. My fire/dark troller also rocks solo.

The Power Analyzer from the P2W vendor is an excellent tool for determining if your debuffs are having an effect. Use it on a boss before entering combat and scroll down/expand the section for debuffs, then blast away. As for KB/KD, as @CaptainLupisstated, if the mag is less than 1 it will be knockdown. If you are fighting enemies less than your level or that are weak to Knock (Clocks,) then the mag will increase and become knockback again.

Of course I'll add another claws/sr into the mix but I'd like to also throw out the old school combo of mace/sr. Hits like a truck and you still get plenty of Knock to help SR stay comfy.

It's the combo system. It's playable, yay high ST DPS. But the mechanic of relying on TF to get short ET disgusts me.

Now now... Taint Stank has other origins than farts....

It's weird... I suspect after these changes I'm going to end up deleting more EM users than creating new ones. Doesn't seem to matter how good the buff is, the feel is off now, and I don't like it. But I'll have an EM/Bio scrapper in the list, maxed out and silly.

I know I'm in the minority, but I would love to see more random D20 crit and fumbles added to the game.

I think this is a claws thing. Or perhaps related to low cast time sets. I also got identical times between core and radial assault on my claws/sr brute. Edit: But radial is working out better for my mace users.

Hasten from speed, tough/weave from fighting (you'll have to waste a power pick on boxing or kick to get them,) but I'm pretty stuck in my ways. I'm a flight pool junkie because I can take hover and afterburner and stick Luck of the Gambler +7.5% recharge IOs in them.

5.13 max absorb on self on live Beta doesn't list any absorption for reaction time.

I just keep fighting when that happens. The monkey's fart cloud is OPaF.

Yea, I don't get the whole movement nerf that's on beta right now. Seems pointless to me. Movement powers should stack. I'll be quite annoyed if I find my fire/bio sent's hover speed ends up on the nerfed list, but I expect it.

Posts by BillZBubba are based on non proc-monster builds and have been shown several times to be inferior to heavy proc builds. Masterminds (MMs) are also broken against pylons since their pets are even con against them unlike everything else in the game. Heavy-proc build EM users appear to be ... godly.

I have seen far too many posts from blasters saying they can tank. It's sad really.

And some of us will always consider this a bad thing.

Come to think on it... that +300% cap SUCKS!

Hilariously enough, since the defender cap is +300%, I hit it solo on my time/fire defender since enhanced values are taken into account for the cap. It ain't hard to hit +200% on your own. Edit: With assault running, and she's lvl 44, I'm starting at 57.75%, I click on Aim (single slotted with Gaussian CFBU) and Power Buildup, and I'm at 267.75%.

I find that I have to agree with this in part. I can absolutely see many people building their brutes for the tank role (we do get taunt auras and a real taunt after all) but scrappers and stalkers? Yea, the job there is to kill and stay standing while ya do so. Unlike blasters who kill and then lick dirt.

Makes sense. My farmer lives blueside so all my alts do as well until I change alignment to go help someone do something redside. Granted, with the beta changes regarding slotting and the ease of getting SOs at lvl 2 and keeping them green, I may very well spend more time redside in the near future.

On the topic of melee running leadership, yea, on my tanks, maybe. Scrappers and brutes, not a chance. Max recharge + max damage = I'm gonna need body/nrg mastery for more end so I can go barrier\rebirth instead of ageless while still maintaining all my defensive toggles and taking down AVs solo.
