  1. The thing is I don't find most teams to be 8 soloers. I'll just agree to disgree and say you and I are playing vastly different games. lol
  2. Ummm, absolute BS. So no to the suggestion. The already limited volunteer dev team CANNOT handle two different code bases. Hard pass.
  3. Herding was boring as hell. I say hard pass on increasing aggro is that is where we intend to go back to. No thanks, the other servers can keep that.
  4. Right, which makes me question what the point of increasing the aggro cap would be.
  5. You want at least ONE in some incarnate content. More than one, questionable. And you definitely need tanks in the Hamidon Raid.
  6. Meh tanks and brutes already have a reason to be. To me having the cap be increased would give LESS reason for a SECOND tank or brute on the team, and more reason to invite more AOE. If they do it great, but I can see it making this game even easier than some folks complain about already. I'm okay with making the game even more easy though. 😄
  7. If they increased it with some of the farming builds I have seen and use for various ATs, it would make farming stupendously easy. And as has been already said, why would you ever invite a second tank to the team, especially when EVEN MORE AOE would be needed. Some folks already say the game is too easy with "City of AOEs". I'm . . . not seeing how this wouldn't make the game even easier. And those folks would not be pleased.

  9. As long as it's an optional mode you can select from the difficulty options. Leave the base game as is please.

  11. Yep good suggestion. Hell as a storm character you SHOULD NOT be running all the toggles available to the storm set all the time anyway.

  13. Are tankers useless in endgame? No. Hell they are pretty damn useful in the first incarnate trial of the game: BAF. Your buddy is wrong. Full stop.
  14. I'd be down for this. It was actually part of what I'm thinking of when I say I'd like more incarnate level content, aka more itrials, more stuff for 8 man teams (TINPEX type), and more solo options for getting incarnate salvage. (perhaps something set in another place other than DA)
  15. Staying at range is great bit of defense. A better defense is actually building the blaster out for softcapped defense, IMO, so that I don't have to worry about always staying at range. To be fair I think that comment from Jack Emmert was waaay before using set IOs to make squishy toons less squishy became a thing.
  16. Pretty much this. It's irrelevant if folks have done the tf a hundred times. If there is a map let it be functional. If the map is supposed to be hidden to make the mission harder then simply hide the map.
  17. NOW THIS I could get behind. Let the Praetorian one be the "hard" Hamidon. It would fit perfectly with the lore and experience of Goldside play.
  18. For real. When I'm in the mood to grind and play "trinity" like content I hop onto FF14. HERE, I just wanna beat up mobs and look cool while joking with others in chat.

  20. The devs were working on the more challenging content when they had their legs cut out from under them. More challenging content for incarnates takes time. And with the size of the team of VOLUNTEERS we have now, don't expect it to be completed any time soon. And yes, most players would continue to play COH if there was never any harder content added or incarnate level content added. Most players don't give a damn about challenging content.
  21. I'm okay with set by set balance. I'm not okay with whole nerfs that don't take the time to recognize what that does on set by set and power by power basis. Thankfully the HC devs seem to recognize that careful balance is better than wanton, unresearched nerfs.
  22. No thanks. Make another encounter/zone with that cap. Or move it into LFG where those who want that can do it with less for the challenge.
  23. Eh, just make it another encounter that anyone can launch whenever they want and leave the base zone alone. Everyone wins that way.
  24. I could get behind a new encounter with a powered up version of him or the option to make him more difficult based on challenge settings. Leave the BASE ITF as is please.
  25. They are what they should be based on the effort of organizing that many folks to do that content. Forming, leading and running a hamidon raid is NOT a simple matter, no matter how easy the raid leaders (and raid participants) make it seem.
