  1. ATO with mez protection in your tier 1 or 2 attack that you can used while mezed.
  2. Last post is my most current build.
  3. If not fire I would say Dark should be decent solo. Decent damage, great secondary effect, hold at lvl 6, minor heal at higher levels, knockback cone for even more mitigation until your resists/defense can handle more aggro.
  4. Does the scattering happen if people are at or below the aggro cap? Or is it mainly when people are past the aggro cap? I'm wondering if the runners drop aggro and the extras end up being aggroed by the new taunt mechanics so the runners keep on running as they are now the ones past the aggro cap?
  5. I'm having a lot of fun with /Ninja. Soft capped defenses along with a self heal and endurance clickie.
  6. Inspired by this thread I made a Fire/Nin/Psi to see what they could do. Not as many options for -resist but also no need to pack around lucks so my tray is mostly Greens and Reds. I just hit 50 last night and soloed every TF through level 40 while leveling. I did them all within 5 levels of the max level of the TF (or at least started them all that way). I did enlist help for Babbage as there was no way I would be able to solo him at lvl 20, but may try again and then drop the TF once he spawns so I can try at 50 with incarnates. I never needed any temp powers for most of them but there were 2 that gave me some real trouble. The Katie Hannon TF has you fighting 10 AVs back to back that get progressively stronger. The last one spawns at +4 and I couldn't get her down fast enough as she just flies around whenever hurricane is on cool down. Also the debuff from hurricane from a +4 AV is massive and brought my to hit down to the 20s so there was a lot of running around no matter what which was time I could not spend dealing damage. So I broke out the pets from the P2W vendor and envenomed dagger for that one. I had to do the same for the Mortimer Kai. The fight took well over an hour because Posi would keep healing. I would do my best to keep the add from getting to him but one would sometimes slip through and undo most of the work I put in. I finally got the pattern down and was able to stop it more often so even when I messed up the heal would not take him back to full so I was making progress.....very slowly making progress. I pulled out all the stops for this one, (back up radio, ranged P2W helper, envenomed dagger, shivans and snow beast, and used up all my Katie Hannons) but eventually he fell. Now I move on to getting all my incarnates filled out and trying all the 45+ TFs.
  7. Yea I have mine in a damage aura and every 10 seconds, everything it hits gets hit with KB. Before it would happen on a couple mobs here and there but now its nearly everything around me. Good to see the fix ready so fast.
  8. Not sure what you are talking about. Blaster cap is +400% which is the same as Scrappers, Stalkers, Corruptors, Sents and as of yesterday Tanks.
  9. While it is expensive, it is really easy to get perma hasten with Ninjitsu. Plenty of room for 5 LotG recharge, 6 slot Preventative medicine in the heal, 6 slot Reactive Defense and load up on purples. Blinding powder is a great spot for confuse set for more recharge, damage and ranged defense as well.
  10. Not sure what the issue is. 3 thunderstrike, Weave, Combat Jumping (or hover if you prefer) both ATOs and the defense uniques slotted in Tough gets you there with tons of room to play with and that is just using SOs.
  11. So someone gave me a thumbs up and I looked at this thread again and wow that is an old build. I hated the scatter effect on Rain of Fire and swapped it out for the snipe once I no longer needed 22% to hit. I moved some other things around as well and procced out Positron Cell which turns it into some great damage for a low level attack. Now this one is a bit more endurance hungry but not terrible. I just have to remember to turn off sprint on AV fights and every once in a while pop a blue to keep it in check. With this one I was able to do a solo MITF. Granted at only +1 so they were even level but still. 12. The damage output was lacking due to no FE and no Burn, not because of your primary. That being said, Elec does have some issues for farming. Yes Lightning Rod is a great power but it is not up all the time. When you are waiting for the recharge you are mainly left with Thunder Strike which has a small radius compared to sets like Spines, Rad and Fire.
  13. Fire/Fire is not great for farming. It is decent but rad and spines and potentially SS would do better. Now if you want to go crazy all out and be the best Fire/Fire tank farmer you can be it would probably look something like this. I'm sure others can find tweaks and frankenslotting options I didn't think of but this should be pretty solid and do OK outside of AE farms as long as you are not exempting down however, no KB protection since farms normally do not have KB to worry about. I skipped Combustion because it is slow to cast. You should have an uninterrupted chain of Burn, Ball Lightning, Electric Fences, FSC.
  14. Dark/Dark oddly enough meshes together poorly. .../Dark keeps you in melee range with a damage aura and Soul Drain along with some heavy hitting melee attacks. But then Dark/... AoE attacks (other than the nuke) are all narrow cones that work much better at longer ranges. So you can stay at range and do more AoE and less single target or move into melee and kill things quickly but mostly 1 at a time. Being at range is much easier to build for as you mainly need to focus on ranged defense but this means less damage. Being in melee range is a bit more difficult as you need more types of defense to worry about. Both are great sets on their own and pair great with other sets but not so much each other. Anything without cones works great with /Dark. Dark/ does well with secondary sets geared mainly for range like Tactical Arrow and Devices. Now if you still want a Dark/Dark we would need to know what kind of play style you would be using and if you are looking at solo or group play mostly.
  15. Was checking the tanker damages vs live and something happened to Rad Melee. Live lvl 50 damage --Test lvl 50 damage Tier1 57.27----53.25 Tier2 98.53----93.83 Tier3 63.62----109.55 (aoe cone) Tier5 124.38---124.26 Tier7 4.89----4.89 (damage toggle) Tier8 197.70----178.35 Tier9 68.96----81.89 (aoe) I did not go through all the sets but checked a couple more (Axe, Broadsword) and those seemed to have a consistent increase on each power but with Rad Melee, some are higher, some are lower and they are not the same percentage change and the damage toggle had no change at all. Edit, Hah! I think I figured it out. On the live version it lists the contaminated damage in addition to regular damage and on the Test version it does not. Now that being said, no increase for Irradiated Ground? Quills gets an increase but Rad does not? Is the pet mechanic causing that? Can this be addressed?
  16. A mix would be ideal. A ton of -resist combined with -regen combined with a kin for +damage would be the best mix for melting AVs and GMs
  17. And whoever got the immobilizer forgot to use it. We took out another group when the Clockwork King said that. I tossed out my rad debuffs and he was down before the regen debuff recharged about 30 seconds later. It should also be noted we started at lvl 18 so the AV was lvl 20.
  18. As someone who always takes those powers to cap out defense I am against this. It is a trade off and a fair one.
  19. Not everyone is sonic/sonic. I actually don't think we have one of those. We have a mix of some sonic blast, Rad defender and controller debuffs, storm and a /Bio brute to handle aggro in the rare event it is needed.
  20. Yes, over time you will get better results with the proc vs a plain boosted End Mod IO. Not a huge amount more but still more.
  21. We are running a all -resist team Monday nights. We got to lvl 18 the first night and everything was melting and we don't even have most of our debuffs yet. It is a ton of fun.
  22. One of the fastest times on the pylon thread was done by a Mastermind
  23. I can. I did a MoITF run solo. I did not do it but I have seen it done at +4 on a blaster. The right Sentinel build can do the same and has done STF and LRSF as well. The only AT that has trouble is Tanks but there are some builds that can still do it. By your own logic this means that all classes are pointless.
