  1. And all sorts of other game breaking stuff is available as well.
  2. Options, Advanced, Database Editor, Main Database Editor. Click on blaster support group, Atomic Manipulation then double click on the powers to the right you want to fix. On that window click on the Invention Set Types and you can add it from there.
  3. Psi and Dark holes but otherwise soft cap defense. Downside it does need Agility to get there and keep Hasten perma and it is not cheep. 4. Got rid of experimentation but up to you if you think it is better. Lost ranged defense soft cap but still beyond it for every type except Psi.
  5. Would love it. Make it a melee global IO so it could be slotted in brawl.
  6. So after a bit of a break I came back and tweaked my Fire/Ninja a little bit. With some lucky procs (several double stacked BU procs on top of aim) I managed to get a pylon down in just under 2 min. So I decided to see what else I could tackle. Then someone announced that Lusca was up. I figured, what the hell, why not give it a shot. The tentacles went down easy enough although a couple times I came close to death when 3 happened to hit around the same time. Thankfully with soft capped defense they managed to miss enough after that so I could heal through it. Eventually I got them all down and it was time to tackle the head. After a couple minuets it was clear I did not have enough damage to overcome the regen. The health bar would move a bit then would pop right back to full a few seconds later. So I finally pulled out the envenomed daggers, brushed off the dust and started tossing one at the end of my normal rotation. Finally the health bar was slowly dropping. I got her down to around 75% and figured that was enough to at least prove I could manage solo with just daggers so I finally pulled out my temp and incarnate pets to speed things up. 19 min later...... 11:02] You gain 51,000 experience and 17,000 influence. [11:02] You received Sturdy. [11:02] You received 6 units of Reward Merit. [11:02] Congratulations! You earned the Devilfish badge. Although somewhere in the middle of all that someone came and tried to help. They almost died then ran off and I didn't see them after that. After everything was over I realized I probably could have used some inspirations to speed things up as well. Oh well. Life goes on.

  8. It was even more fun in pre I13 pvp. You would hit with the quick ET, drop their health then quickly follow up with TF. They would see their health drop fast from the first attack and try to run off and be around 100 yards away then poof dead.
  9. All 3 positinal defense sets use the same amount of endurance but SR tends to be in the worst shape. Shield gives you AAO which does more damage so things die faster with the same number of attacks. Ninja gets a free recovery clickie which helps a ton. But SR gets more recharge. That means fewer gaps in attack chains and more use of heavy hitting high endurance attacks. Now how to fix it? Pretty much the same way as any other set. Make sure end redux is in your attacks and toggles. Throw in performance shifer and other IOs that give +endurane and recovery. You can even throw brawl on auto to help yourself slow down a little.
  10. I know this is an old thread but I have been gone for a while and I love Ninja for Scrappers and Sents. I have to agree with ninja surprise here. TW/Ninja Scrapper with a stealth IO feels like a Stalker. Pros. 1. Easy on the blue bar, at least compared to other similar sets like SR and Shield. Yes I know they all use the same amount of endurance on their toggles. However, Ninja is the only one with an endurance recovery power. It is also much like SR in the fact that with the right slotting you can still be at the soft cap without Maneuvers. While this can be done with Shield, it is far more restrictive with slotting. 2. If you are willing to spend a lot of Inf you can be at 47% or higher defense (before Incarnates and without Maneuvers) and recharge 190%+ (including hasten and without amplifiers). 3. It is the only Positional defense based set that has Stealth, an endurance recovery tool and a heal. SR and Shield have no option for endurance and you would need to dip into Concealment if you wanted to be able to be invisible like you can with Ninja +stealth IO and need to pick be able to heal. 4. Every power that increases your defense you can get by level 6 with the 2 biggest ones available at level 1 and 2. Obviously this does not include pool powers. Shield does not get its final defense power until 20 and SR is stuck with very limited AoE defense until 35. 5. Flexibility. Unlike SR, Ninja has a resist power which gives you room to put in Steadfast and Gladiators armor without being forced to take Tough. If you do take Tough as well, you have the option to 5 or 6 slot a resist set if you need those bonuses which is not something you can usually do with SR. It also has 2 powers you can easily skip and an argument can be made for 3. The first is Blinding powder. Sure it can be used as a mule for purple confuse set, but those slots can be put to better use elsewhere for the same results in most cases. Second is your tier 9 Retsu. Yes it doubles your DDR and gives recovery, however it crashes hard and will potentially kill you if it drops while you are fighting. For most people, if they take it, they only use it as a mule for LotG. The 3rd is more questionable. Kyoyo can be dropped if you never plan on doing lower level content and you have your endurance under control, but even then it can be handy to have when the rare sapper blast gets a lucky roll and nearly kills your blue bar. Finally if you end up with a very tight build, it is not as bad as most other sets if you put off or skip a travel power. 6. Unlike SR and Shield, you are not demolished with non positional psi attacks. With your built in resists and double stacked Rin (mez clickie) you can get over 55% psi resist and that is with no other set bonuses. Cons. 1. The click Mez protection. I don't mind it but for some it is a deal breaker. I just use it as a free break-free unless I am up against a lot of psi damage. 2. Not a lot of DDR. You get around 34-35% which helps but you are still vulnerable to cascading failure. Keeping a few lucks around or dipping into Soul Mastery for Shadow Meld helps when you get hit with debuffs. 3. No KB protection until at least level 28. This can be annoying while leveling and when doing low level TFs. (looking at you Posi) 4. To get to those crazy numbers I list above, it takes a LOT of slots and power picks from specific pool and/or epic powers. So while the set overall allows more options, if you really push the limits of what you can do, that can reduce your flexibility. 5. No damage aura or buff/debuff toggle. It joins SR and Regen as the only sets that have no toggle that affects mobs and/or gives you better stats the more mobs you are around. Although some may see this as a positive since it also will not alert mobs when you get close if you are effectively invis.
  11. Gotta love irony. Literally no one else like this idea. Be like Elsa. Let it go.
  12. Then do the same for higher level boss mobs, many of which also have defense debuffs.
  13. What you are suggesting is an occasional 300% increase to damage taken for a short period of time to those right at the soft cap with a greater chance against LT and Boss mobs? Hard pass.
  14. I am guessing you have a full inspiration tray since I see no inspiration buffs even though you are low on HP. Situations like that is exactly why you keep a few lucks handy if you are a resist based set.
  15. I'm back after a bit of a break. Covid tried to kill me but failed and have been playing other stuff but decided to come back home. This is where she is at now. Positron Cell I found works great as a proc monster and is now in my regular rotation instead of just as something to hold bosses when needed. Run into spawn (which debuffs to hit and increases recharge), nuke if available, if not then Fireball, Atom Smasher then pick off stragglers with ranged attacks. Hard targets I just have my attacks in order of DPA and use whatever the highest DPA attack that I have available. Although I have actually been playing my sent more since she has better single target damage. 16. Yes, they stack. You can even stack super speed on top of it if you really wanted. However few (if any) mobs have the perception to see you with Stealth + Stealth IO and those that can see you, do it because they can effectively see through stealth and not because of a high perception.
  17. Put me down in the Ninja camp as well. Nothing wrong with SR, I just like Ninja better for the same reasons others listed.
  18. Mainly I would follow the 95% mark at +3 for toons that I would mainly play on teams. Then there are likely to be enough buffs and debuffs to not have to worry about higher defense on certain mobs. Most builds outside of proc monsters are well beyond that point so it is almost never something I really build for. In rare cases when more accuracy is needed I keep a yellow or 2 handy.
  19. You get 1 aoe instead of 2. Mu is better for farming.
  20. Now if you really wanted to go all out on single target, there are ways to have only a single tick gap....without Agility...or Ageless. 140% global, without Hasten. Gives up a little defense and ranged options for more damage and recharge but still over soft cap. Makes me now wonder how fast is Moonbeam with the snipe changes?
  21. The crit is going away but with the ability to proc it out and add damage through shield and incarnate powers as well as cure endurance issues it will still be pretty crazy.
  22. See above. 1 would give it 2/10 for getting 90% fire resist with 1 resist toggle needed. It is an ok start for making money for something decent and for getting incarnate stuff slotted.
