changing fury to work with recharge instead of damage would make every brute that currently exists have to adjust their endurance. also wouldn't titan weapons also be unbalanced? some powersets already have ungodly levels of recharge rate (claws etc...) adding more wouldn't do much to affect them so taking damage away would essentially be a nerf The reason brutes don't do as much damage as scrapper is because they aren't supposed to the reason brutes don't tank as well as tanks is because they aren't supposed to the villain AT's are hybrids classes they aren't supposed to replace the pure classes for example Corrupters don't buff as well as defenders and they don't do as much damage as blasters but they do what they do very well In fact I prefer the Villian AT's over the hero AT's with the exception of MM's I do like the idea of a buildup rework that power is so generic it hurts lol

Welcome to the Coh the bestest game ever created the game does provide lots of detailed information (right click is your best friend) Most powers do not stack (there are always exceptions) Even Live there wasn't much info officially released because it encouraged interaction between players If you haven't got it already there's a nifty app called Mids it has a plethora of information regarding powers, power interactions and of course customized builds. Discord (the chat app) is a fantastic way to get info when not in game (even GM's are there) Generally the COH community is very friendly please make yourself at Homecoming

You used to be able to teleport hostages iirc. i dont play MM all that much perhaps pets sharing your travel power when they are near their controller might help? or maybe formations of some sort?

Well I noticed that currently there are no IO's that buff debuff resistances and the devs are currently improving foes with lots of -def and nobody likes when their powers recharge slowly and nobody likes being slowed and everyone hates sappers and uhhhh buff regen? (lmao) @tidge also brought up some excellent points. and there's no reason that his suggestion cant be implemented with my own because more sets leads to more potential variety and variety is the spice of life for the SPICE!

I wonder if the Devs have any plans to rework some of the more problematic sets because this ATO isn't the only case not gonna name names or derail the thread just wondering if an IO pass is on their radar in general

thematic request. Super Strength hand clap I am aware it does no damage (im ok with that) but could it possible be recoded to auto ko devouring earth swarms in range? cause it makes sense thematically not sure if it would break the game but it doesn't hurt to ask

what you are describing is called <drumroll please> Virtual sickness or cyber sickness or simulator sickness (take your pick) it affects up to 30% of the population (i am one of them) I cant do VR glasses or 1st person shooters. I don't know if there's any in game setting that will help you perhaps @Rudra does (our resident under the hood genius that he is) however irl there are a few things u can do. Dramamine or some other motion sickness medication works great if you can fight off the drowsies (not the dark elf kind) Amazon.com: Hion Motion Sickness Glasses - Relieve Carsickness, Airsickness, Seasickness - Anti Nausea Vertigo Glasses, No Lens Liquid Glasses for Adults or Kids (1 Pair Without Bags) : Health & Household lastly the most difficult thing that i know for sure works is, exposure therapy. just do a little bit then a little more etc..... until your body kinda get used to it be warned that because this is a physiological issue the exposure therapy is not permanent. of your stop exposing yourself to the stimuli your body will start rejecting it again once re-exposed

I like DA its probably my favorite armor set in the game even if it isn't the best as @Rudra has pointed out to me many, many times balance is more than just a few things. reducing its healing and endurance cost by 33% sounds great but what about its recharge rate, range and/accuracy? -
but I do like the idea of invisible shields, I'm just too lazy to look at my power bar 😅

at 1st I was gonna say who would want this? then I realized me me me! long ago in the ancient days of the dinosaurs stealth had a movement speed penalty when paired with super speed it made it.......manageable (shakes fist at oranbega torches) now I'm old, my reflexes can no longer keep up with super speed and now I can no longer take/use super speed on any character (this is a personal problem) I especially like @AlwaysAPrice suggestion. -
there are a lot of shield options but there are a few missing I don't think there's a nature shield for example my issue with an invisible shield is: most armors have some type of visual animation letting you know the toggle is active keeping my eyes on my power tray ruins immersion for me shield armor has zero visual animations aside from the shield itself. I would like some kind of visual cue that my toggles are still active if/when the shield is invisible

two very different beasts. nearly everyone wants mm customization KB is a subject of major contention. some folk like it some folk hate it. there are so many reasons and counter reasons. but regardless of what side you choose on the KB-KD argument the 2 sets I mentioned before require adjustment -

Technically true however the KB-KD debate has gone on and on and on I have weighed in on both sides of the issue suggested countless potential fixes more often than not things get so heated a GM shuts down the thread I am beyond fatigued at this point regarding this issue We don't need a new KB set, especially when the current Knockback sets are broken the force feedback proc breaks the 5x rule and the sudden acceleration set is paradoxical to use. kb, more kb, more kb, more kb, more kb, then no kb -
I am also in the same boat. over the past few years i have tried time defender, time controller, and more recently time corrupter. the corrupter is so far the best to play but its a little clicky but not annoyingly so the problem is even with perma-chrono shift I still run out of endurance fairly quickly (5 toggles) and even after months of play I haven't ironed out a general rotation I kind of wing it for every mob So I have this ineffable feeling I'm not playing it correctly

It's rare to read such a moving heartfelt thread. I agree with all the reasons posted here already At this point its difficult for me to come up with a unique reason that has not already been stated but I will try. When I was a teenager I had an Uncle. He was the only family member who understood my gaming mania. He encouraged me to participate in the blockbuster tournament of old (yes that was a thing) but the only game he played was street fighter 2 no matter what new game came out he only wanted Street fighter 2 not alpha, not marvelvscapcom or darkstalkers just street fighter 2 I asked him one day Uncle Matt, there are so many games out there why do you only want to play street fighter 2? he told me This is my game. Everyone has a game. For some its football or baseball for others its chess or dominos It isn't perfect or new or flashy but I know how to play. sometimes I win sometimes I lose but I'll never give it up. at the time I thought this was just another life lesson bundled into an answer but......... I get it now this is my game.
