  1. Let me clarify, which it appears I need to do. Typical Rune slotting was a level 50 Titanium Coating Resist/Recharge boosted 5 times + a level 50 Aegis Resist/Recharge boosted 5 times + Unbreakable Guard Resist/Recharge boosted 5 times. As far as I know, resist IOs can't be slotted into Hasten. Some of y'all may know something I don't. My post was in jest by the way. Just lamenting losing the uptime I had with Rune. And now, for this thread... I'm out!
  2. Anyone want to buy some 50+5 Res/Rch IOs? 3 of those became my standard slotting for rune and if I sell these on AH, they'll lose the ++. Once I get around to respeccing my old Rune toons, they'll need a good home .
  3. Some things are better left unknown...
  4. There was never any unlocking of LGTF.
  5. My recollection, and I'm not going to put in the work to verify via old patch notes, is that it was released as 35+ erroneously and was changed to be 45+. SCORE changed it back to 35.
  6. My for real answer is - they're probably the most "well behaved" without micromanaging. I paired them with Electric Affinity and they tended to stay in Faraday Cage without being told to. Kind of makes sense, assuming they're all ex military and have that kind of discipline. EA is so good, I was able to keep them alive fairly well. Took down a few AVs along the way but it was slooooooow. Otherwise, they're the best at being worst.
  7. Angus McQueen just provided my own personal "nails on a chalkboard" typo. The mission offering for "Catch a hostile infiltrator in the Rikti before he can return to the Council" includes the sentence "However, I was never able to act against him without LOOSING my own cover." It's "losing" Angus, not "loosing".
  8. I have a Necro/Rad that's 50/trickedout/t4d/yadda yadda. I quite liked it and it met my expectations for a "good" MM. Yes it's true RI is long casting so I wouldn't always use it especially on fast teams but EF (-res and -dmg) is always helpful and has a 1.5 second cast so I'd always use it. AM has multiple attributes that do affect the pets (+dmg, recovery, mez resists, run speed) and the +rch does help you so this is still a very very good power. But you're not asking "is it viable?" or even good. You want "absolute most debuffs" and this ain't it. I'm not going to get into "absolute most" but I would look more toward Cold, Traps, Dark, Poison and now these days TA.
  9. I autocomplete not out of fear of the mission but rather I want my incarnate stuff and I want it asap. The 5-10-15ish minutes (including travel) spent on this could be spent opening interface and judgement by beginning Heather's arc.
  10. Yes Warburg nukes + Shivs was a frequent approach to LRSF back in ye olden days. Not every team had the mind dom + kins necessary for the sleep technique and this was an alternate technique to better your odds.
  11. People can be weird. I can't imagine the thought process that results in "You're 50 and forming in the Sewers? I'm out" then "well if he's out I'm out".
  12. I'm currently going through the process of respecing my "first wave" HC charactes and a Ice/Temporal blaster is one of them. She took Ice epic too. Anyway, your build looks good OP but a couple things stood out for what I would do differently 1) Move slots from Snow Storm to Frost Breath and use 5 Ragnaroks +proc of your choice. If you were hoping to have ranged def in excess of 50, then you can use Artillery instead of Rag. Artillery gives a significant boost to range as well, which was one of your negatives about FB. 2) Change Time Shift slotting from 6 turtles to 6 Cloud Senses. That gives global recharge and more ranged def. This is purely for muling CS not enhancing -tohit.
  13. So much "this" to this. I'm very content with my slotting at 50. I actually swap in my purps and catalyze my ATO/WOs before I begin Ram so beating 2 EB even con isn't an issue, I just want to be earning iSalvage asap.
  14. I got one of the new exploration badge tips in Croatoa. I'm guessing the second line of the poem should end with "circumstance most dire" not "die".
  15. I'm going to join the hate for "stop 30 fir bolg". Set diff to +4, autocomplete, get sweet +4 mission complete xp, then that even sweeter +4 croatoa arc completion bonus. I also autocomplete the Honoree/Holtz mission. Not because I hate that mission but it's a speed bump to opening alpha which I want asap. The kill all for Black Scorp really isn't bad at all. I guess if you're antsy to unlock a patron (like I am with Ramiel) then I guess I can see it. It's a small map and solo I don't know if it even takes 10 minutes to clear (obviously depending on powersets and slotting) I just happen to be doing Croa part 2 now. Yes Skipper, I'm sure.
  16. Arise! I happened to be searching for Spectral Terror info regarding the -tohit numbers and this answered my question. It did lead to another though. I noticed I could slot To-hit debuff sets but not Accurate THD. From that should I infer that the fear needs a to-hit check but the -tohit does not? I'm sort of tight on slots for my theorycrafting of an ill/storm and if I can get by with 4 DWD that'd be great.
  17. We turn the difficulty up just a notch below insanity, speed isn't a priority for us, we tend to fight the purple things in our way.
  18. I happened to be thinking about this yesterday while playing a lowbie Dom. For every other AT I can find use for all 12 pieces of their 2 ATO sets. Well, with the exception of Controllers. The difference from controllers though is that damage is indeed "part of the job" for a Dom. Not to highjack someone's suggestion but I'd love to see a new type of ATO for Doms that enhances damage, then it could go into any type of attack, including range like the OP requested (see not a total hijack).
  19. Pew pew, pew pew pew! I already made my Huntsman and a warning to anyone else thinking of doing the same. Because VEATs all begin in the Rogue Isles, if you choose to play a Huntsman, please create it well enough in advance of our first session so you can change alignment in Pocket D using Null the Gull. That's a good idea for anybody actually so you can set up your Null the Preferences, like auto-accepting Mystic Fortune.
  20. People should be forced to cite the RNGods prayer before ever complaining about drop rates changing. It's far more likely they simply have displeased RNGesus and need to thank him and the others for all the purple bounty they have ever received and beg for forgiveness to atone for cursing them for rolling 95.2 on chance to-hit of 95.
  21. Yes this is the answer. It's a weird thing and sure, I don't oppose it being logged as a bug but if the door isn't in LOS, they won't attack even if given that specific command. Go to then attack will get them involved.
  22. I just did 3 runs on an asteroid with ambushes upon destruction of objects. Each run featured a farmer build with vet levels > 99 and a sitter, level 50 with vet levels less than 99. Here are the results Run 1 Over VL 99 - 2 yellow, 2 orange Unfortunately I had pre-existing white salvage so I'm not including that for this data dump. I also didn't think to include the sub vet level 99's results Run 2 Over VL 99 - 3 yellow, 2 orange, 7 white Sub VL 99 - 3 yellow, 2 orange, 1 pvp (not included with other 2 orange) 5 white Run 3 Over VL 99 - 2 yellow, 1 orange, 15 white Sub VL 99 - 3 yellow, 1 orange, 1 purple (whoop whoop!) 12 white My friendly advice, data is much more meaningful than "I talked to people in a chat channel who think drop rates are lower". I'm not saying it has to include null hypotheses or confidence intervals (though that would certainly help) but all I see is a run of bad luck being reported.
  23. This looks quite good and I detect no derping. I do want to point out that with current acc slotting, bonuses and to-hit, everything that has a to-hit check is at 95% against +3s without the Kismet slotted. Personally that's my threshold, 95% against +3s so I'd do something else with that Kismet slot. Any other comments I may have are all of the "season taste" variety and not really worth typing out. Well, I'll share one - if you add a recharge to FS (and +5 it) FS's recharge goes from 24.5 to 20.1 seconds, I think that's worth an extra slot.
  24. Though I was no fan of playing Empathy on live, I was enthused to try it on an MM, because I had always thought it would be very good for MMs. And sure, it is buuuuut.... your attention cannot waver at all. Once Fort is up it needs to be cast. Once all the minions are buffed you have to remember who to cast Fort on next since they'll all have the buff icon. Being content with AB on 1 minion (Bruiser for me) and Fort on the other 5 helps the frenetic pace a little bit, but there's still the question "who gets the buff?" once you get rolling. Now, I made a Thugs/Emp when HC opened. That's a good pairing and I haven't tried other minions (yet). That makes Empathy, when very attentively played, a strong MM soloer. Once you're on a team and buff your teammates, then the minions are rather exposed, with really only your heals and occasionally Regen aura to help them survive. That makes MMs paradoxical to the conventional wisdom for Empathy, which has been "great for teams, terrible solo" since the opposite is true for MMs. To your specific question "Are Empathy's buffs better than other secondaries?" I say no. Not even close, except for small teams. Newer buff sets like Nature, Time and Elec Affinity have surpassed Emp for buffs by a lot. That said, the Emp that gives me Fort + AB (+CM if I'm squishy) is my favorite teammate. To your next question set - though Stealth doesn't stack with Shadow Fall, a Stealth IO does as well as Super speed. Not sure if Infiltration stacks with SF. With recent changes to MM minion cast times, it's less cumbersome to stealth to objective then summon than it used to be. So with Shadow Fall you can use SS to get to objective undetected or toggle on Sprint (whatever variety you may be using) slotted with a stealth IO to do the same. Using Shadow Fall to move minions undetected in a mission will not worth though, unless you take Grant Invis and cast it on each minion individually. You'd be much better off dismissing then resummoning.
