  1. Alignment and morality tips will drop from 1) mobs that drop rewards (so when you exemp to say level 10 a level 10 enemy can drop them) 2) mobs level 20 and above. These can be grey and provide no reward otherwise. In ye olden days (pre Null) I'd go to target rich zones like miners in Sharks or dense hazard zones like Crey's to get however many tips I wanted at the moment.
  2. With enough time passed for the hype to simmer down, I've become more enthused by Combat Teleport than Fold Space. CT may well become a standard "got to have" power for my meleers going forward. As for Fold Space, the playerbase needs to arrive at some unwritten rules. Like, if you hear or see it used by someone else during a fight, don't use it for the remainder of that fight (with special exceptions, as ever). It's *bang headdesk* time for me whenever I use it and then everyone gets ported away 5 seconds later. At this point, if I find there's dueling Fold Spaces I'll refrain from using mine. With the long base cooldown (120 seconds) you have to give it at least 1 slot, likely 2 due to the needed accuracy. For a bonus junky like me that's a steep price to pay. For Warshades that don't need to use up a pool and go 3 deep into it, it's A+. For everyone else, eh, I'm no longer making special effort to fit it in.
  3. Confuses are rare enough I wouldn't make major slotting decisions, like destiny and I certain wouldn't re-roll a toon I like just to avoid them. Your first course of action is to just pay attention to that notification and that your teammates now con orange. Then just step back and do nothing until it wears off. If it persists then a break free should save the day. Other tools include the defense amplifier from pay2win (mag 4 protection but expensive at 50 (2.5M/hour). This will work through all content. There's a base empowerment buff for confuse resists but, like all base empowerments buffs, won't work in incarnate trials or Mo runs.
  4. Bob, I give a hearty endorsement, looks good. Your global acc + Tactics gives you 95% to hit against +3, which is my benchmark, for everything BUT Heat Exhaustion and Melt Armor which are at 91.38% (I turned off the Gauss proc). Your global recharge is so high you won't miss the 5% from Oblit in Irradiate. I'd use a proc instead of 1 of the Oblits. I see you +5d the LotG +7.5s in Maneuvers and Weave. That means that recharge bonus won't exemp. I would move the Def uniques that don't actually boost Def from Scorp Shield to CJ, that way you get the bonuses when you exemp lower and you lose nothing from SS. Going in the other direction I would + the Def/End in Scorp Shield, more for the end than the def. Again, because your global recharge is so high, you won't miss the 5% from Red Fortune and this gives an opportunity to go 4 deep into LOTG for the +9Acc. This happens to put everything above 95%, including HE and HL. This gives 2 slots to play with that I moved to a damage proc and the +7.5% HP from Unbreakable Guard. Here's my chunk w/ modifications:
  5. It's not to late to join in if you missed last week. I would suggest creating your character as a hero or vill and not Praetorian, since most folks are in the late teens and will soon be eligible to head to primal Earth. That said, we tend to do First and Night Ward content once we've started as Praetorians.
  6. Allow me to introduce you to The Internet, specifically social media.
  7. Tomorrow! I've got my /Water def ready to go. P2W items bought, Null the Gull configured to auto accept mystic fortune and even got LRT unlocked with the Pocket D VIP badge. Even have some patrol xp built up tp speed up the grind from level 2 to level 3. I didn't remember to turn on team insps though, I'll take care of that before tomorrow. As ever, looking forward to it!
  8. Here's the CoD2 entry for the (arbitrarily chosen) controller version. https://cod.uberguy.net./html/power.html?power=pool.leadership.victory_rush&at=controller Buff varies by the rank of foe, last 120 seconds, recharge is hard set to 300 seconds. Not that great tbh.
  9. I'm going to buck the trend and give a thumbs up to the OP, but with 1 significant modification, make the token cost 1B inf. Speaking from my own POV, I do grind from1-50 almost exclusively, but sometimes I get a wild hair for something that I think would only work at 50 and I dread the concept of 2+ hours of active PLing. I suppose I could afk PL but even that's not as hands-off as I'd like. I would pay 1B though for an insta 50.
  10. Like he said, it's a pbaoe buff and all henchies are affected, so only do it once. Note - any that out of line of sight, like behind a corner or column, will not get the buff. You can quickly verify they did in the buff icons.
  11. I'll support any and all requests for any kind of MM primary. I love my MMs and it's getting a bit repetitive regardless of whether I start off asking "Do I want it good?" or "Do I want a challenge?" It's the same 3 sets for each question with Beasts floating between the 2 depending on secondary.
  12. I should have been for my 2nd guy, bots/elec (first made it to 50).
  13. Too bad I didn't notice this when the thread was posted so I could rep Demon/Cold. Cold is not a "Defensive set" at least not exclusively. The shields give fire/cold resists as well (no f/c def). I have a Demon/Cold and all of the minions have f/c resists somewhere between 80 and 90%. The minimum def for any of the minions is 40% (except for f/c def), Demon Prince has 55% s/l. All exceed soft-capped aoe. An application of FW caps any minion's HP. I've got a lot of MMs on my roster (multiples of any primary and secondary) and this one is the most powerful.
  14. I guarandang-tee you that there are some available for a smidgen over 500k now. I just brainstormed some and put them up for a little over 500k, just so there's some supply. Still unsold.
  15. For PVE, Stalker Hide is more than enough. There exist mobs that say "peek-a-boo, I see you" regardless of anything on top of Hide (Rularuu eyeballs, Rikti drones for example) but everybody else will be oblivious with just Hide. Apparently in PVP it makes a difference but when it comes to PVP talk I have to bow out. And yes, if you attack a dude and even if you go back into hide, the rest of his pod is going to know where you are unless you placate (single target) or defeat them.
  16. I just made an invul Stalker to get to the Snake mission. I could stand in front of snakes in the mission and do dance emotes... nothing. When I got the "jump into a snake hole" mission, I got to the door, no reaction. Turned hide off, then a couple snakes popped up. I dunno what to tell you. I'm not saying you're not experiencing what you say you're experiencing, I just haven't.
  17. That sounds like an ambush or (don't take this the wrong way) are you certain you have hide on? Nothing has ever been able to spot me (and I've played all the Stalkers) in Mercy but maybe that "jump into a snake hole" mission where a bunch of snakes pop out of the ground when you arrive at the door. The bank is definitely rife with targeted ambushes. Such is life with mayhems. Or anything with ambushes frankly.
  18. Using Mids now, I see the following for an LOTG Def/7.5% At level 50, the def enh is 15.9%. This is what you'd have at 50 with an attuned version. A level 25 version has a def enh value of 12%. Boosted 5 times a lvl 25 version has a def enh value of 15%. Putzing around a little bit it looks like level 28 is the break-even point. At 28 boosted 5 times the def enh value is 16. So it looks like for defense power picks after 28, you may want to get an LOTG at that power pick level -2, then boost 5 times. The reason I say "-2" is because a power is usable when +5 of an exemp level (your lvl 35 power can be used on Citadel when you're exed to 30) but your set bonus won't apply unless it's less than or equal to your ex level +3. In the Citadel example level 33. Note, I'm not advising doing this, each person has to make their own assessment of "worth", I'm just discussing the math. For me, I'll just keep using attuned and call it a day.
  19. At level 35 you can swap to a red alignment and begin patron unlocks by talking to Arbiter Rein (who will be in your contact list when you're eligible [red and 35+]). The easiest thing to do is pay close attention to LFG or whatever other teaming channels you may belong to and look for people that say they are doing the patron unlock mission. They may "patron finale" they may say the name of the patron. You won't have to switch to a red alignment if you happen upon this but you can't be pure hero.
  20. Hm, I tried the hardcore challenge for something different. Start at 0 inf, no p2w, no sugar daddy/momma transfers, delete upon defeat. Turns out it's not that big a challenge. I mean, I'm subject to dying and deletion because I can have a brain fart like anyone, but it takes literally only a couple of days to procure all of the IO sets starting with just a large red and a large green insp (from tutorial). This challenge does seem interesting, especially combined with hardcore. It also seems like a good opportunity for a FF Defender to shine.
  21. By "other environments" I meant servers other than HC. Putting Sally in traffic on roads was a deliberate joke.
  22. I don't have the haxx skills to join an ITF at lvl 30. I'm ok with the max 5 minutes I spend doing this on MI. If AE takes 4, well, that's a minute I'll just have to do without. Edit just to clarify - the Monster Island I'm referring to is the vill zone, not the PI neighborhood.
  23. The "how I roll" for this is, at level 30, when I can actually attain HPT, if I have little to no patrol xp, which is usual for a toon I'm actively playing, I'll draw down an Experienced charge, go Monster Island, do the shuffle from the monkeys to the hosp. Pay off 200k debt (as I mentioned, I may never actually see a number on my debt amount). ???. Profit.
  24. No! Any debt paid in AE will not count. You were on the right track. I do my debt farming on Monster Island. You should pay attention to the progress on the achievement badge, not your debt amount. With enough patrol xp you can get a debt badge w/o incurring 1 xp worth of debt.
  25. The 4 Croatoa arcs have always been a stop for at least 3/4 of my toons. I noticed this for the first time ever a couple of weeks ago. In other environments for this game, I've seen Sally be traffic in other zones so I'm guessing that whatever constraint that she had to stay on the lake had been lifted. Whether inadvertently or intentionally only the devs know.
