It's worth considering Traps for an "indestructible" Def. FFG covers most mezzes and has higher def, out of the box, than Farsight. Obviously PB + Farsight is its own category. One of my 2 badge toons is a Time/Fire and all told may be a bit tougher than my Traps defs due to the OP nature of PB+Farsight but the Trapper's not too far behind.

Hm, step 2 in that link: 2. The Maximum Bonus Cap. If your Exemplar level is 45 or less, each individual benefit is first capped at 41.5%. This is an extra step done before the normal reduction. If your Exemplar level is 46+, skip this step. throws a monkey wrench in how simple my example was. I haven't bothered to see this in action myself, but based on this the .66 would be adjusted down to .415, then reduced by about half to .21 (ish).

The boosting isn't a level adjustment, it's a multiplier to the enhancement effect. The reduction for exemping is the the usual as shown here: https://hcwiki.cityofheroes.dev/wiki/Exemplar_Effects_on_Enhancements So, a +5 Dmg purple, which is 66%, if slotted by itself in a damage power would about half that, (.33ish) at level at 18.

When I think of "old and don't want to kill the team" that makes me think of a buffer that just drops their buffs and starts blasting. Cold, Sonic, Thermal, maybe even Time or FF. Time if soloing is paramount.

For the list of always, 100% of the time you'll find them in any of my builds, there's Pana proc Steadfast 3% Glad Armor 3% Shield Wall Perf Shifter proc For 99% (I can think of an instance of not including one of these) of my builds, there's Reactive Def unique Prev Medicine unique 90% have Unbreakable unique 50% have Numina unique 0% have regen tissue and miracle uniques Kismet is used leveling up and taken out once my accuracy threshold is met. LotGs slotted 0-5 times depending on other build priorities.

The buffs should chain back to you, though it's possible it might not with illusion if it goes through up to 8 pets first (including decoy + patron pet + lores, whichever may be applicable).

If you're just looking to test your mettle against AVs you can make an AE mission with the ones you'd like to fight. I did this recently and started from a baseline of 0 knowledge of making AE missions, so it's not all that difficult. As mentioned, Maria Jenkins is the easy answer for contacts. Scirocco's arc has a good number as well.

Data point for "most annoying contacts for a faction" - I've done 6 straight missions for Marisel Valenzuela. She still hasn't allowed me to begin her arc. There is no redside contact that makes you jump through that many hoops. -
This happens so frequently I don't use any of those transporters to the ITF's second mission door.

I just checked one of my characters with the Numina unique in a toggle - an /electric armor sentinel with the Numina's Convalescence set 6 slotted in Charged Shield. The bonus always applied, I waited 2 minutes to see if there was some trickery with the proc120 aspect but no, as long as the toggle was on the bonus regen and recovery were both granted. Turning the toggle off ceased granting the bonus, as expected. I mention this not to cast doubt on the OP, just a data point where it worked as expected.

Absolutely. I get my 200k debt at level 30 by snagging an experienced booster (for a character I'm actively playing) and I've got the badge before I leave Monster Island.

I was doing the "Scroll of Tieleku" arc for Miram Bloechl in the field, not Ouro when an unreasonably high level ambush (lvl 40 BP) went for me (lvl 33 once, lvl 35 another) Some background: I was in the midst of the arc at level 29 when I joined a team doing other activity (Silver Mantis when it was WST, just to provide all info). When I returned to complete Bloechl's arc I was level 33. I took the mission "Take the Scroll to Dr. Cheng" https://hcwiki.cityofheroes.dev/wiki/Miriam_Bloechl#Take_the_scroll_to_Dr._Cheng and 2 level 40 BP mobs ambushed me in Independence Port, near Cheng. The mission was at the max level for the arc (29) and I set the difficulty to +4 so mobs would be even con. Whether the ambush should have used level 33 mobs (mission level +4) or 37 (my level +4) I don't, but it certainly shouldn't have been 40 (+7 to me). But wait there's more! Before completing the second part of that 3 part sequence (https://hcwiki.cityofheroes.dev/wiki/Miriam_Bloechl#Recover_tomes_from_Circle) I again joined a team (Maria Jenkin's arc) and earned 2 more levels. Furthermore, I switched alignment to rogue for some accolade work then back to vig, no additional levels were attained. This put me back at the first part of that 3 parter ("Take the Scroll to Dr. Cheng"). Once again, a level 40 ambush came after me. This time, I had not adjusted my difficulty. The mission was at level 29 and my difficulty was +0. I did take a screenshot of this. I just noticed the image doesn't include the level of the ambush as I was hoping so you'll have to trust they were 40 both times. You can see however that they con purple for a mission that's -6 to me with a difficulty of +0. I was going to let this go after the first time but since it does appear to be reproducible, I decided to log this.

Nowhere does it say the limit of accounts you can have on at once is accounts per shard. It states if a shard has a certain population you may or may not be able to multibox. It would be good to get clarification from Mods. Not critical because I get the sense they don't actually care, I know enough people that blow these numbers out of the water. -

Actually there's a limitation here (3, see https://forums.homecomingservers.com/code-of-conduct/#multiboxing-policy) but there wasn't on live. Certainly in the pre "free to play" model they were willing to take your $15/mo for as many times as you wanted to pay it. That's not to imply there was a limit in the free to play world, there wasn't. There is now though. -
Though you can slot lvl 50 HOs or most enh, any VRs, like purples require you to be trained to lvl 50 to slot.

I took out another loan from the unslotter bank. I happened to have a level 41 Power Transfer Acc/Dmg/End so I unslotted an Endo and replaced with the PT. Since it's a triple I wouldn't expect the damage to be significantly more but I would be > 0 difference. So with the 2 Endos I would get: You hit BCU with your ESD Arrow for 131.83 points of Energy damage. After substituting an endo for the PT triple, I saw this result: You hit ACU with your ESD Arrow for 131.83 points of Energy damage. So, unchanged. I welcome others to experiment but I'm done.

I thought this was an interesting question. I took a /TA blaster into the "Take down Nightstar" mission full of WarWorks. I have ESD slotted with 2 Endoplams (acc/mez) and 2 recharges, I took out one of the endos and put in a Dmz/Mez, in this case a D-Sync Containment. The extra damage with the new slotting was unchanged. In both instances I saw: "You hit BCU with your ESD Arrow for 132.92 points of Energy damage." So no, attempting to sneak in some dmg via multi-aspect enhancements doesn't work.

1. Poison Trap is an aoe so it gets adjusted by the aoe factors, in addition to the usual parameters for slotted recharge + activation. It's certainly far from the proc nuke it used to be but I view it as a chance for some extra damage. It's almost last on my slotting priorities once other goals are met. I definitely would want the WotC proc, a unique, to be in a power that gets more use. 2. I didn't soft-cap, I went for "good" ranged def (30ish) The toolset from both primary and secondary are just too deep to keep aggro from being a problem. 3. 42
