  1. Ok, see below, a couple of people discuss how they take advantage of this bug:
  2. Are you folks having this happen on Torch? I did.
  3. We can dispel the notion that this doesn't have real consequences. Here's a sale for me today: Yay that I was the beneficiary of this, but somebody out there wasted 8 figures worth of inf. Now, I can't say with certainty that this wasn't the usual extra digit overbid, but it sure does look suspiciously like someone saw this list and thought ~15M was the going rate. Clicking "find" would toggle this list and what looks like a real list (1M-1.5M range) for this item.
  4. Let me clarify then. Attune PVP IOs for leveling ++ them if you're 50 Don't ++ uniques/procs.
  5. I wouldn't worry too much about "creep" of mechanics you don't like at this point.
  6. On the Holiday tab for LFG, you'll find "Dr. Kane's House of Horror". Like Summer Blockbuster it's for 4 players as mentioned in the announcement for this patch:
  7. For Shauna's arc, I got a "mission fail" the 3 times I ran it. Note - I never failed it. Edited to add - I did get expected rewards and badges, so I'm not saying this was a catastrophic bug.
  8. Ladies and gentlemen, with today's patch I'd like to introduce you to Shauna Braun for your merit/unit time needs. That is all.
  9. "Forcing you to move"? Oh the horror. Meleers should be able to plant themselves in a spot and hit the 1-2-3 buttons until there's nothing left to target, just like they do for the other 99.99% of the game. Note - this was full sarcasm. I rather enjoy employing different tactics and let's face it, the median time spent for this is, I'm guessing, around 20 minutes. I don't see a compelling case for making it easier.
  10. Based on this https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Exemplar_Effects_on_Enhancements a lvl 50 basic IO would have the same value at 35.
  11. I made a Poison/Rad recently for this same purpose. Lots of PBAOEs and targetted aoes in both the primary and secondary. Cones are counter to this objective since those are best executed at range (Sonic blast relies heavily on Cones for aoe).
  12. Any missions, actually, not just trials/tfs/sfs. If someone enters before the mission holder from a zone the mission holder isn't in, then the mission defaults to +0. This goes back to when I started playing (i9ish).
  13. Important bug and well worth mentioning but it's been brought up here: The last time I went shopping for Defender's Bastion Acc/Dmg/IEnd I had to buy it completely blind, every time I brought it up the list of last 5 sales was comprised of only 5 digit numbers. I ended up making a wild guess and my initial bid was successful, meaning I overbid for how I normally purchase items.
  14. Don't be fooled when you see "Fortify". You really need to dig into the details, the same is true for Forge as well. You just can't depend on the name of the Lore pet's power to be remotely equivalent to what players get. My own hierarchy - 1) concept 2) the intangible pet that seems most helpful I rarely consider the tangible pet, they're just too squishy, even with a buff heavy character.
  15. I always tip my hat to those that take the road less traveled and without checking I'm going to guess this combo isn't high on the FOTM list published recently. I dig it (the build). I had a couple of suggestions that upon closer inspection I changed my mind about (was going to suggest the 2 10% resist IOs but with your shields Stony will be capped to all but s and l and I don't that's worth 2 slots). My suggestion for your last slot: Shield Wall +Res/tp unique IO. Scaling resists is tempting too. The value seeker in me suggests putting the Glad Jav Acc/Dmg into Fossilize instead of Sup Winters Bite. You'd get the same acc/dmg values, lose the end reduction but save 20M (that's a guess, didn't check current sales) and gain a global end redux improvement. You could +++++ the Glad Jav which would provide better values than the Winter-O from acc/dmg. This is true for the HO in Arcane Bolt as well. You don't lose a lot by taking the Recharge IO out of Water Spout (about 2 seconds). I'd be tempted to throw in a Lady Grey proc. One power selection I would do differently, at 49 I'd take Hibernate over Clarity. That's a "season to taste" thing, I take Hibernate whenever feasible just because I like a good panic button. Here's what it looks like with those changes. | Copy & Paste this data into Mids' Hero Designer to view the build | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |MxDz;1535;727;1454;HEX;| |78DA65944B4F135114C7EF74A6624B914285F268A13CCBA31426A0EC3411885121C| |190083E92662C039D043ACDB41A898F88881F800D18DDB8C1A8898989AFAD1FC09D| |1A176E4C24BA51F0B57061EA61FEA776924ED2FCEEF99F73E69C7B7AEF4C5C1AF53| |D3EBA7C5848FE91052D9B4D8C98E99C652E2CE8967B429B3792B2A0A78C7E91A2A7| |10141FD3AC5CAA60851C01472ECCCDC5A7CCB4914C8CEAE7C910BE499312A64C2BA| |95B4B30C6752D63A4E7BDF064747DB6B2A0CFEA5636656422631923191F35178DB4| |9633ADC4B87ED1D072292D9D98D0B2397A511D35D64BBF2B92E027EF16C75C42A88| |A70692486898B926D2B3119EC06F7C410375DCC15A241D8DA65D220E715E90E214A| |F1EBE0DE0DE66DD07B175CEB104296D083BC8A77FB978801A20ABB9A7BA8E61EF6D| |F43BD6B94E7E61EDCBDD066240C9E34A9EC17E2BDBFC1D3E4F3B0CFC3BE28FBAE93| |AF9C6751FE88EB6C82B50F980FC1BAFBCC97A8594B052BB00757450DE6D6F057D87| |38C9E40EC59922B112355B620AF81B94C7A15FBAA7806A1613215599C233DC0BEC0| |2168216690EAD6F0FE6B3E20EF2AC506A1C9C135F4D2B4C1A47E76197982BA3748A| |EE73DD7BF73D9FDB6BC61BE67BE05DB78AF6D7C3E5AA97623F7D568CFDE23DA9855| |E40BB32FCCF368F2832B8466AED9FC133D4746981F31ABF61FB0DBB7C1CE1D7085D| |CAD9CDBFA02FDB4735F9D4F99AF111B7D065B7D0E26A86E07E7767CC19EBA39B7E7| |33EC9E4FCC2D30C6EFBA4975BBF85C770D43EB3EC01C026383CC83E02D19776CB75| |E2FEFB38FF7D1F79DC9FBECE7B9F5BFC2B95FA5DC38E627C7FF6026FD7C5E553EAF| |6A10FFC3964F88013E03037C07428AE36EE6E9D90D2C28F99E12EF4089A29628832| |5CA5089325EA24C2AFFBF0842B2158F9FEE3B77F2D54B5E89BD7DE87DBBA8B9A4E3| |92FD8DF09DC2D9F1B560EFDF9C795DC8DB71E6AD63AEFBD69811C49CF4DA9DD9B5A| |71DEB19C7FA8C63ADD04552F1CEFC66A0B8FE079B6CFF03| |-------------------------------------------------------------------|
  16. I recently downloaded 2.6.0.4. I've always been able to change base to-hit to represent fighting +3s by going to Options > Exemping & Base Values and typing 48 into the "Base ToHit" box. Then I'd type ok and be done When I do that now I get a message "Incorrect amount of stats selected, please go back and make sure you have 3 to 6 stats selected". I checked 4 random items on the Discord page and it ended up saving. Just letting you know as I'm not sure if it's intended to require the extra actions just to change the one value.
  17. Liquefy needs recharge recharge recharge since it has a 300 second base. Procs are nice if you have the slots to spare. Having said that, I slot Liquefy with whatever helps a build goal (such as Cloud Senses for global recharge and ranged def). This team is rolling along nicely. Team regulars are in the 40-50 range (many at the top end) so it may not be the best time to show up with a brand new level 1, but if someone has a higher level sonic resonance character, then by all means come along for some high volume mayhem (Fri and Sun at midnight UTC, 8 Eastern, 5 Pacific).
  18. One of my first HC characters was a Beam/Dark and the bolded is indeed what I found to be true. Lead off with Fearsome Stare, drop tar patch, then overcharge, cutting beam, etc etc. Toss a Darkest Night if you're in a hairy situation, but I find in practice it's just an AV thing. Just fyi, here's the current build. Note - because this was created so early on Homecoming, it's a "budget" build. I have it on my to-do list to upgrade and look for good proc opportunities. | Copy & Paste this data into Mids' Hero Designer to view the build | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |MxDz;1450;673;1346;HEX;| |78DA6594494F53511886CF6D6F198B6D2DA54099CAD01690D2AA7B13C018139A104| |8DC3637F482D5429B160C2EFD0B6E5CC9B471A3A87142340E6154B70E1B77E2B071| |F807F5E3BEAF05D39B364FEF7BCE379EEF34B130E25C3B77ED8CD25CC319A350480| |E67F3F9F9DC5C36EF4818D3E949BB52CA59B89231521D9397CC4C265D2942A0B429| |396ECC4E9BA9E89069CC24C7D35319B3F9706D687E6A2A3A62E42F271369A330632| |8D758369B898E9A46CACC172EA673CE7FEFB9F4EC748DF5329133CD940A9CCDA527| |A3879E26B2F39964C228CC99F9AB8D92408F7C37EA159FA243DD14C475A52F82554| |B60DB32B902F6AE829B5AC956577EBBA5D97C6403D8E205E3F5E03389A7319E761B| |9A7E07AC5A03DBEE82DDF7C8FBE0B618DA616BB76FD82CAD669D7C0C3A9F82CF258| |E83711CACAB827555B0AE16D615645D41D6B525712A61AB55F6430B933BB2568D35| |554DED85C4AA655EB53D3AF20881C10838700B7B3DE2B8CE6A40D156E7D32CED989| |BF482BB0217F6E82EBFFC68D595DB8335376D1A69D3489B97928387F57A3611EBF8| |16B9CD73DB01FB76C93D704F5C7869EBFD62B3E2D5EF935FC1866FE477B0FB07E89| |57A7CCCD5B788DEF72E8183CBE40A185F051BC4C60F1BE5673DAF24FF26CE525337| |7AD6DC4B86C1BE07C877E009EB123F01FA0904A17589D6CAF369FD8C78AFC5773B7| |DB7D347C73AF9907CF4BFEF0519B44EF8B6779EC4FC75C5C8383908BED370970EFA| |D7C3BE84D8C710FB18621FC3EC63987DDC772A1561BE11CED31BF1D7CF79EA7F8F7| |D273E901FC94F60A7D41B459E5A94F683E45BD163F41D6BE6CCEBA53B2B1F79545F| |99122B53E265CAA932E5749972DE520E922B1647CB56C7F4D23F81D22CA5DA5DBAD| |FC59F35B2CAB3D50690FBEFA3DA05CCCDAFA35A04FBFE1C6A9A7683B3771DFC0B3A| |51E9C8| |-------------------------------------------------------------------|
  19. I happen to have made my first (non farming) character on Homecoming as a Time/Fire defender, because I dearly loved my fire/time corr from live and wanted to see how the inverse played. Honestly, for "feel" (I haven't analyzed a session with Hero stats) the main difference is, as you suspected, Scourge, at least against big targets (meaning AVs/GMs). They both were/are safe and lethal in general play even as you ratchet up the difficulty and size. That reminds me, because this was my first character, I used a "bargain" build (meaning Posis instead of Ragnarok, that kind of thing). I need to finally get around to a "premium" build then I can better make an apples-apples comparison (that Corr on live was "premium")
  20. Sonic is the game breaker to pair with Kin, if you're into that. Not only for -res * +dmg, but also the -res * -dmg (meaning the siphon power powers are buffed by the -res in Sonic blasts). Otherwise, whatevah floats your boat.
  21. I don't know if this helps debugging (which I'm sure is happening fervently) this or not, but I just noticed that it looks like it's possible that records for an item I just purchased (Superior Frozen Blast proc) got mixed into what I was searching for (Call to Arms A/D/R) I don't know for certain those 23M records are from what I bought, it just struck me as very coincidental.
  22. Just curious, was that a Croatoa mission with Fir Bolg? It seems in most missions trapped citizens are in main rooms, maybe in a corner but for that one particular mission they can be in those side rooms you just don't even bother entering since there are never mobs in them (except for this).
  23. I need to do a major cleanup of my mids versions, I've got a few. I too had the melee secondary for the version I had loaded when I initially checked this, but closed that app and opened my latest (v2.6.0.2) and it properly loaded the Kinetics secondary.
