  1. Also not a big Hami raider but a Dominator in Domination is the easy answer. Doms can credibly perform any role except tanking on a raid, but mezzing greens is what they do best. As to what powersets, whatever you want. Some secondaries have a power boost (ice and energy for example) so maybe one of those.
  2. I'll be contrarian, to an extent. Need? Nah. Helped by? I sure think so. VEATs get the highest value (5%) from Weave and s/l resists gets in line with the other (non psi) damage resists with the inclusion of Tough. Weave not only allows you a means of gaining significant global recharge, but the 7.5 (conservatively) def to all allows for pursuing global recharge in other power rather than as many defense bonuses as needed to make up that amount. With this, I've got perma pets, a 3 aoe attack chain (then Venom +2 STs when it's down to an AV) so I see no offensive sacrifice. I would share my build but, distressingly enough, I seem to have lost it, probably overwritten. Oh well.
  3. My best argument for WoC: 6 slot Coercive Persuasion. Ultimate Recharge and ranged def, plus the proc makes it not nearly as bad.
  4. Oh, I only did 3 tests and none hit the target, I sort of assumed it wouldn't proc on both the caster and the target. That is an assumption though. Someone else can be more thorough if they want, I've already spent 2 unslotters for this...
  5. I just checked, it procs on the caster. Combat log: You activated the Fortitude power. You greatly increase the To Hit, Damage and Defense of *redacted*. HIT *redacted*! Your Fortitude power is autohit. Your attack strength has increased temporarily.
  6. #1 on my wish list for immobs is nothing the devs can do, I just want players to have better judgement of when to use them. For example - NOT on the ramp going to the bowl in a MSR. Anyway, my rule of thumb is Controllers - AOE yes, ST no Doms - AOE no, ST maybe (perhaps even "probably", I really hate run-away AVs). I don't really have much to say about immobs, I've never thought of them as problematic. The recent-ish change to allow kd addressed my biggest complaint about immobs. I think they serve a purpose and don't want to see them replaced. Looking back I see the request was to discuss T1 immobs and I'm talking about immobs in general. Too lazy to edit for a more focused post, so time to hit "submit".
  7. You've found the closest you'll find to your objective already. Only Kin gets to the damage cap. Other +DMG buffs I can think of from a buff set (numbers are Defender values for best case): EA - Empowering Circuit (37.5) Empathy - Fort (31.25)* Nature - Overgrowth (82.5) Pain - World of Pain (20) (also has Painbringer but only affects 1 ally) Rad - AM (25) Thermal - Forge (50)* Time - Temporal Selection (31.25)* * Single target buff that can affect some number of teammates based on your recharge and diligence. Kin, best case is 10* 25 + 50 = 300 for one casting. One Howl provides a -20 resist debuff (before adjustments). Not too shabby. Kin/Sonic Def is undeniably the king of combining +dmg and -res.
  8. For me, lowbie endurance woes are a thing of the past, mostly due to the following 4 factors, all mentioned above: 1. Panacea in an auto 2. Survival Amp (p2w) 3. Base empowerment (base) 4. Recovery Serum (p2w) (as needed) I'll add a #5 I haven't seen above- Typically in sets, endo bonuses come at the second slot. That may be +Rec, it could be +EndRedux. 2.5% recovery bonuses are easy peezy to get and usually in sets you'd want to slot anyway.
  9. I hate that I missed this as the weekly topic last week. I do feel strongly that vills need a 30-35 level SF. I didn't see that mentioned in that thread, which no doubt speaks to that not being a commonly held concern but it is one of mine and I want to make sure it gets voiced as a suggestion. I don't really have detailed thoughts on plot or enemy groups. I just want it to fit in with the other SFs. By that I mean a similar pace (30-60 minutes) with a unique ending. The 10 (or even 8 ) to 15 range also is lacking an SF but I don't feel quite as strongly about this.

  10. From what I understand (but don't have first hand knowledge of) changing seeded prices is an ad hoc data change, not tied to a server restart. So choose one: 1) Seeded price not changed yet 2) Players are selling for 10M 3) New full time price is 10M #3 would be one of those good news/bad news things. Bad news for me though. I sunk a LOT of liquidity (percentage-wise) into these, even knowing it may take months to get my desired return.
  11. You didn't get an answer to your question about xfering inf - open an e-mail, put your global address (@ Whatever) into To: and put the amount of inf (up to 999,999,999) in the box marked for inf. I personally put Cold at the tippity top for Demons, but others mentioned will work quite well.
  12. You don't even need to pick up a new pool, Scrapper primaries include Confront. ETA - Confront's not aoe, I know.
  13. Are you going to use the Defense amplifier full time? I took a stab at this and would make some different choices with a full-time Def amp.
  14. To last 2 posts - 1) The greater point was that crafted IOs sell for significantly less than recipes for some items, this one specifically. I doubt the last 5 are all extra zeros. 2) Huh?
  15. I got a Numi proc yesterday. *hold for applause* Normally I'll just craft something like that and store it in base, I don't use it all the time but frequently enough that it'd be used soon. For yucks though, I decided to see how a crafted IO sold vs just the recipe. I'm neither a terribly active nor attentive marketeer but I've noticed that sometimes exotic crafted IOs are cheaper than recipes and it sure seemed to be the case for Numis, recipes tended to sell for about twice an IO. So I listed at a fairly hefty price point since there were 0 for sale at that moment. I checked in today and this is what I see: Now the point isn't "Look at me I made 10M inf!" but rather it's WHY???!!!??? Obviously all of those last 5 sales would have bought an attuned IO. What are you (whoever "you" may be) thinking to say "You know, I could buy this for 1.5-2M and be done but I'd rather pay more than twice that and then buy the salvage and then craft it." Anyway, I don't mean to sound ungrateful, thank you, now I can buy 5 attuned versions of this.
  16. Recently I noticed I wasn't getting a +rch buff from a PD teammate who cast Enforce Morale onto me. My recollection from live was that it provided a 5% buff to +rch that stacked up to 5 times. So I went about logging on my own PD character and another character on a different account to document for this post. What I found was more interesting than expected... At first I cast it on a lvl 50 with a bunch of recharge bonuses. No +rch from EM was shown but I thought the other bonuses cluttered up the screen and made the point more difficult to convey, so I switched to a lvl 1 with no bonuses. Before casting Enforce Morale on lvl 1: After spamming EM 6 times: Wait, wha? There's the recharge I expected. Maybe I somehow missed it on the 50 I tried earlier, so I log that back in to see. Lvl 50 with no EM: Same lvl 50 WITH EM (see buff bar): Recharge is unchanged above, status effects show EM. So I change to build 2, which has nothing in it, with a notable exception... With 3 EMs cast (see buff bar) I get a 5% recharge bonus. I notice my base empowerment buff is still in effect to grant a total of 25%. I delete it and lo and behold: There's a 25% +rch buff from EM, with 6 EMs cast. So, it seems that your limiting function is using all recharge buffs, not just EM itself, to max out the recharge buffs from EM. That's the hypothesis I present to you now. I hope this gets dev attention so this power can work as it's intended.
  17. I always did the same thing and got the same no recipe result. 1. Save Wincott (get merits, notice and badge as applicable) 2. Hit exit on nav bar 3. Call contact 4. Quit team
  18. There's a big difference between the Lt. version and boss. If I get a boss that power surges I'll basically afk, depending on if my particular toon at that time can take it. The lieut you can power through no problem. Perhaps that's what people are seeing.
  19. I had an AR/Sonic Corr back in the olden days. Even if I found that build it would be useless given the new toys we have to play with. I'll dive into this, it sounds interesting.
  20. I don't keep up to date on all the forum goings on so I know this was posed months ago but I still found the question interesting when I read it just now. I searched the Proc guide and found this: This doesn't specifically mention AS cast times but I'm hoping the same logic would apply. Bottom line - this confirms what carroto says and may well be the dev comment they referred to.
  21. One of Confuse's bigger issues is the "confusion" that it diminishes xp when it actually grants a disproportionate amount of xp in the player's favor. See the section on "Confusion and Experience" https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Confuse_(Status_Effect) Just tag a foe and you'll get rewarded at a rate > the proportion of damage you did. No doubt the cheap price is simply a function of econ 101, there just aren't a lot of consumers for it (not many sets have a confuse) while the supply (drops) is plentiful.
  22. Poor MA, is that the only set now with 0 AOE now that EM got readjusted?
  23. I cast a vote for revamp of TFs but I'd like for that discussion to include that SFs have a huge glaring hole at 30-35. Redside could also use a lowbie (Posi-like) as well. The 8-15 range goes by so fast that a lowbie SF doesn't seem as needed but I'll save that discussion for that thread. My only point here is that a tf thread also include SFs and lack thereof.
  24. YES! I'm 100% with you. I wanted to include a request for some measure of volatility (SD) but thought I'd start off small...
  25. By and large, I do like the market in its current state. After a year and a half, there's been basically no notable inflation, mostly due to downward forces that have been mentioned above. The main thing I'd like for new functionality is - more data, more data, more data. If I had carte blanch I'd have some means to access the sales history data to query as I wish but I have no expectation of that. What would be nice would be a way to dig deeper. A button to show last 100? I'd be content to have a high and low sale from the last 100, especially if it comes time stamped.
