  1. No to screwing over Energy Transfer. I want to be nice about it but no way. Also as for the later suggestion about changing Tremor in Earth Melee, no thanks, it's actually amazing as is on a tank. It's essentially foot stomp but with stones and a bit less damage. I do like lightning rod and shield charge, but maybe the solution is to just beef up Spring Attack? Then any character could take it.
  2. I'm strongly in favor of letting Stone tanks even in Granite Armor be able to move. In a game universe where there's floating islands suspended in time or the shadow shard, what's to say someone not be able to fly if they want, or jump, or even run. I have characters that shoot laser beams out of their eyes, summon demons, effect the density of other bodies just by waving my hand, and have bullets bounce off me like: Why do we have to draw the line in the sand at a flying 2 ton chunk of rock?
  3. Regarding the level shift bug, yes it's there I was set as -3 on my Shield/Stone tank and didn't notice until at the Warwalker part of the invasion (so now I added level shift to my combat monitoring), not that I died, so I could do more damage. That said, if the bug effects you, you can always toggle walk on and off to reset your level shift too, the drawback this way is you have to retoggle everything.
  4. My Dark/Elec defender said this is working as intended.
  5. A few days ago I had an idea for a toon that popped into my head as I was looking at making a new toon with a power set that I hadn't played. Well I've played quite a bit of shield defense as has just about everyone as we all know it's great with positional defense, extra hp, more damage, decent ddr. Now the kicker, having played since Beta back in 2004, I had never tried Stone Melee. Maybe at the time it was unappealing or I was told it was super endurance heavy or put off by more smashing damage, I'm not sure. So since I had never tried it I decided to give it a whirl. My god the synergy between Shield and Stone is amazing. We're talking mobs flopping on the ground nonstop for even more incoming damage mitigation. Fault with a FF+Recharge proc tends to fire off decently as well. Tremor is recharging in around 4.5 seconds, so between Shield Charge, Tremor and Fault things are constantly knocked on their ass and given Tremor's recharge with a 30 second recharge on Shield Charge after IO's I'm doing quite a bit of AoE damage. Single target wise between Seismic Smash, Heavy Mallet, Stone Mallet, and even Stone Fists it gets the job done. For an ancillary/patron on tanks I usually go Mu, but went Earth Mastery just to get Stalagmites and Quick Sand as it fit the theme better. I naturally threw in a Call of Sandman Proc to have a reasonably reliable heal, and Quick Sand further adds to my and my team's mitigation. Don't sleep on Shields and Stone Melee, they work great together. P.S. I read through 37 pages of Tanker Forums and there's never been a thread dedicated to the power set. In one thread someone said they had a SD/SM but people kept thinking the person was talking about a different secondary as and derailed the person's point as we know Shield is good with any set that can be used with it. Keep Tanking.
  6. You can kinda do this by selling them on the market and then buying back the attuned versions. It feeds and subtracts from the same pool. It's not perfect as you have to get someone to buy yours and then use that funding and possibly more to repurchase them but at least then you don't need to slot and unslot them.
  7. I think prerequisites on power choices are fine, but it would be cool to remove the limit of 5 pools. I have a character named Mediocre Man that is all about using power pools a d temp powers instead of primary/secondary powers. Imagine having 8 power pools on a character.
  8. I have 5 incarnate stalkers right now fully IO'd, with the newest as of yesterday that I rolled when I first saw this post. I made a Staff/Invuln Stalker and I tried to play it on some missions without buildup on a lark to kinda get a sense of a stalker without buildup as that seemed to me like having a blaster without aim/buildup. It wasn't pretty. Then I started to sober up, respec'd my new stalker and now it has build up. I ran on a Numina TF and had to be asked to slow down twice, that's where stalkers should be. If build up was removed they would have to redesign the ATO's. Honestly though Stalkers are in an amazing place right now and need no changes to the overall AT.
  9. Note: Any Proc that will fit in a -perception power will turn the power into an agro generating power, so you won't be able to use it with impunity as before. Take that into caution when slotting procs in those powers. That said, it can be pretty effective to proc them out. This was by design of the original development team as they never wanted to have a power that could cause damage that didn't generate any threat.
  10. Wildly misleading title. As to your suggestions for weakening npc mobs, no. The game is fairly easy as is. Regarding adding status effect protections into some powers, I'm not completely opposed to if it's done well. But the reason for npc mobs to have status effects is to give us a challenge. That said (and I've advocated for the following in other threads), I am in favor of Kheldians getting status protection for their human form toggles shields as they are the only ATs in the game that have we're designed to have toggle armors like melee characters (and later sentinels) and never got mez protection.
  11. My rad/fire brute farms extremely well, but it can also solo all the Freedom Phalanx TF's, so sometimes I'll use it on those to carry a team that might have difficulties otherwise. I'm sure my spines/fire brute would do fine as well but he doesn't have any accolades and clears a meteor in sub 3 minutes, so I haven't seen the need really to go get them.
  12. I'd be down for having a P2W vendor and a Null The Gull in my base and I'd never have to go to Pocket D again.
  13. I'm a little bit old school... how about we take away the fitness pool inherent and have everyone waste three power picks to get stamina again? Or perhaps, you get to choose which power pool you have as an inherent power pool? That way you can have the whole leaping pool or medicine pool, etc. as an inherent, but then you don't get fitness pool for free.
  14. Personally I'd be alright with that, but that decision as you know would drastically alter a lot of PvP builds across the board so if something like that were ever going to happen I feel it should be due to a consensus of the PvP community.
  15. I'm not opposed to looking at giving some kind of use while someone hasn't been defeated, as I view if someone on my team has died 1 of 2 things has happened. If I have opportunity to use it, either I have failed or they have, and I play to win. That means I don't take resurrect as I can take something that mitigates extra damage coming in, or adds to my damage going out. Besides, I can always take a P2W rez power, which anyone can get for cheap, why waste a power slot on it. I don't think changing it into another AoE Heal is necessarily a good idea, but perhaps adding a big absorb shield onto its effects, so when a player is resurrected by the shield they are protected by it, but that absorption shield could be also applied to a target that is also alive.
  16. I have a poison/rad that can tank numerous AVs. It works extremely well and you don't need many powers from the primary to still be super effective essentially you only need envenomed, weaken, poison trap, and venomous gas. Maybe paralytic poison if you're going to proc it out. The other powers are skippable.
  17. GB we usually agree quite a bit on here, but I gotta ask why? Already a lot of power creep in all of us min/maxers' builds. Don't get me wrong I wouldn't mind 1 slotted hasten or use 1 generic purple damage io and 5 damage procs on a few choice powers, but still I'm trying to see the real need. My best guess is that this could add more options for build diversity. It'd be interesting to see this in play in a sandbox like an actual "private" server.
  18. That will do it as a lot of lowbie mobs don't have kb protection like clockwork and such.
  19. Do you have a chance to knockdown slotted in the power? As Knockback is just knockdown with more magnitude. And no you can't disable Domination visuals.
  20. Oh sorry yeah I was drinking. Sum it up: we have more important things to focus on, and the potential exists if we did this it could open us up to unintended automation issues like firing off multiple powers at the same time.
  21. By downloading mids, replicating your build in that and then posting the mids build here.
  22. As someone with arguably the best suggestions of all time according to myself, I would also State that there is a lot of other things out there that merit changing the command structure to automate the game for you. Because let's be honest here, if such a change were made it would be pretty easy to expand that to say firing out buildup/fiery embrace/burn/fences/ball lightning and the like all at the same time.
  23. I'm 💯% in favor of returning unresistable Nictus energy damage, bringing back Voids, and actual Cysts. That.said, I'm also 💯% in favor of toggle suppression when shape shifted, human form mez protection, and a higher damage scale.
  24. I leveled up a new alt to 50 yesterday via farming. Between both accounts I got 6 purples. I was using an outdoor city map. For the first couple of hours I had a goose egg going. Then one map I got 3, 1 on my farmer and 2 on my toon I was leveling. The next clear I got 1 more. And then nothing for awhile. On my final run I got 2 more on the toon I was leveling. So 2 on my farmer and 4 on my new toon in total of it's time lvl 1-50. 2 apocs, 1 hecta, 1 Ragnarok, 1 unbreakable constraint, and a fortunata hypnosis to.round out the bunch. Not too bad.
  25. If they could do that it would be cool, but I think it's a low priority issue at most. Understanding that I myself make use of macros to swap my builds on the fly for my Archanos and Kheldian characters. That said, I take into account blowing my CDs when I swap.
