Might as well also give everyone privilege 11 so they can type /omnipotent.

No no no. IO, Armageddon, Enhancement Boost +5. Purple IO's exempt automatically without needing to be attuned, so enhancement boosting them is the more practical approach, as attuning them does nothing for you.

I would speculate that there are lists of potential mission doors that one is assigned to each mission. Some lists are comprised of only only door, causing some missions to have a fixed door. Otherwise I imagine the game chooses a random integer that corresponds to a door on the assigned list.for each mission. Mind you that's speculation and something I never have bothered to actually check out, but it's how I'd go about assigning doors as it'd be quicker than picking static doors for each mission.

Snarky, what are you up to about a dozen invuln toons?

Ah, I last played when toggle dropping was relevant. -
Phase Shift intangibility suppresses when mezzed
SeraphimKensai replied to macskull's topic in Bug Reports
I've been retired for a long time behind the times PvP wise. So you're not supposed to stun/Mez someone out of phase shift anymore before the phase actually kicks in? -
The closet to this I've seen in an MMO is with Eve Online. As manufacturing for advanced blueprints are controlled by a select few owners of BPO (Blueprint Originals) that allow infinite production reuse, whereas BPC (Blueprint Copies), offer limited usage. It creates a lot of market supply and demand issues, but the economy is amazingly complex for a game.

I've got my own server, which is basically my test server/sandbox. It's worth the hassle of the set up, so check out the link Troo posted. Abraxus, made a damn good point, more beer should be drank with people playing the game.

MM only (or mostly, but likely only) MSR on Monday 2/17/20
SeraphimKensai replied to Oklahoman's topic in Everlasting
During the work day. Good luck. -
Honestly the best part of the game has been reconnecting with the old supergroup, or sometimes even old PvP rivals. I think that social aspect transcends the rest of the game, as without it I probably would of hung up the cape again by now, but that nostalgia and old friends keep dragging me back in.

Need? Probably not, but want, definitely yes. I don't know about anyone else, but I've got damn old since the game started back in 2004, and a lot more responsibilities. My playtime is a fraction of what it used to be. When I play an MMO, I aspire to be the best that I can, I might not be the best there is, but being the best I can is the plan for me at any MMO whether this, wow, Eve, lineage 2, SWG, Diablo III, etc. I want self improvement. So I see I have work to do, as I only average around 145 million an hour of grinding out influence (not including drops that I craft and sell). That's allowed me to build out 50+ toons, and often times give away quite a bit on the side. When I make a character I want it to be as powerful as possible, so it can help whatever team I'm on.
-
As an example of that, I rolled a scrapper that was essentially just another billionaire hero as the back story. But he was meant to be a self made billionaire. He took a 1 million influence loan from one of my alts and then essentially sat at the Atlas Wentworth's until he had about 1.8 billion influence after I bought all the IO's I needed based on the build I made for him. Then I leveled him up to lvl 8, went on a Posi TF and tossed everyone on the team 50 million to help them get started.

I posted the following in a thread about fury last week or so: If it were up to me I'd change it so that Fury could actually scale a brute up to its Damage Cap at 100% fury and it would be easier to get there, but I feel that would need to have a counteragent to it, like reducing resistance/defense/regen on a scale after a certain point of fury as the Brute is so enraged it doesn't care to protect itself, it just wants it's enemies dead. I haven't thought out numbers for balance though. Something like that might change how we play Brutes, rather than eating red Skittles, we might need orange or purple, but I think could be an interesting idea. And that would imo differentiate them from tanks, scrappers, and stalkers. ---- Tanks would tank, scrappers would be the general melee character like originally designed, stalkers are in an interesting place right now given their huge burst damage and defense like scrappers. Brutes would start out as they do, but as the fight goes on get stronger and stronger, but also weaker and weaker, so they end up being unique in that yes they could do the most damage of any melee class if they built up their fury that much, but also take the most damage (until they let up their attack, lowering their DPS and bringing back up their defensive (defense, resistance, regen) to pre smash the world levels. Just an idea.

Honestly if teleport was going to get any change to help it out, because we know it's the least taken travel power and completely outclassed by sorcery's mystic flight/translocation.... Reduce the endurance cost significantly, extend the range some, reduce the animation time, and extend the float time a bit. Change Team Teleport into a short recharging ATT, maybe 2 min cd, people might actually use it. Change Long Range Teleport, to a short recharging Mission Teleport, maybe 10 min cd. Change TP Foe, to work on +4 bosses, also make it so slotting teleport enhancements buffs it's magnitude to make it useful in PvP against people who slot 1-2 anti TP enhancements. Recall is just fine, but the four other powers could use some love.

If I'm making influence, I use a rad/fire brute followed by an auto burning spines/fire brute. If I'm leveling an alt, I use which ever brute is on the opposite account of the toon I'm leveling.

Well if your on EL, I can always spin up my dark/rad troller if you need another.

If you could make crazy costume requests...
SeraphimKensai replied to DR_Mechano's topic in General Discussion
Tertiary Color choices for every costume piece Remapped Hi Res costume pieces across the board Full freedom for asymmetrical costume design Access to any humanoid NPC/Dev costume pieces More modular body scaling so we can have a wider variety of body types Realistically as cool as this would be I doubt any of it gets done here as it's low priority. -
The Yellow Snowball Blizzard of the Month Chocolate Frosty Ice Cube Dispenser

This is Milu, she is a Savage/SR/Superspeed Scrapper. She has been known to get hyped up and often in scrapperlock using confront on me during task forces.

You could always do what I do, sit on over 40 level 50's most of which are loaded to the gills with IO's and exempt a little until you wind up getting in a Synapse tf and see an Elec/psi Domi, so once you have your merits you have your next toon to take to 50 and slot up before repeating the process endlessly. Mind mind you what I do seems like what you do, I just ensure they make it to max level.

I've been thinking that the way fury scales is a bit crazy. It was changed from fury 1.0 so that it's easy to get to about 75% and from there each additional point becomes exponentially tougher to get. I've not seen 100% not know anyone that has. If it were up to me I'd change it so that Fury could actually scale a brute up to its Damage Cap at 100% fury and it would be easier to get there, but I feel that would need to have a counteragent to it, like reducing resistance/defense/regen on a scale after a certain point of fury as the Brute is so enraged it doesn't care to protect itself, it just wants it's enemies dead. I haven't thought out numbers for balance though. It's not you, the search function is pretty much garbage.

What year is it in paragon? (Lore)
SeraphimKensai replied to Sakura Tenshi's topic in General Discussion
The Coming Storm? It already came. Battalion destroyed Paragon City, and turned all the supers not just Kheldians into batteries for their space ships and plugged us into pods and now we're living in the Battalion version of The Matrix. Each server is it's own giant mothership, so it has its own fuel of heroes and villains. Face it we lost. But have faith for there is a prophecy originally made by Dave from accounting, that one day the One would come to save us from our existence and reset the Battalion Matrix.
