  1. You can make a costume changing macro to do this already, you just have to hit the button to name the power.
  2. Gonna have to say no to this and here's the logic as much as I don't like leeches begging myself. If the devs make a farming channel, fine, but people will still beg in lfg because they might not find someone willing to level them up in the proposed farming channel. For the best thing to do...the idiom "Give a man a fish and he eats for a day, teach a man to fish and he eats for life" comes to mind. It's best for people that want to farm a toon up to make their own farmer on an alt and PL themselves.
  3. So I decided to put my money/time where my mouth was and give a Plant/TA Controller a roll, and got it to 50, made a build and tossed in everything I wanted (~250mil). I still need get incarnates, but opening with flash arrow and seeds then debuff and then pow. I proc'd the hell out of ice arrow, poisonous ray, carrion creepers and acid arrow and this thing punches. Only drawback I've seen is you're reliant on teammates for heals outside of Poison Gas Arrow (Chance to Placate/Heal), and Power Transfer Chance to Heals in Disruption and EMP arrows / panacea in health. I softcapped S/L/E. I'm going to be field testing it further over the next week or so, but so far its pretty fun.
  4. I have significant experience with every powerset referenced in this thread, and a few thoughts: Elec control- it's one of my fav control sets. But the thread seems to want confused mobs to attack each other. When elec control is fully slotted especially with an IO build and incarnates, mobs will not have any endurance at all to attack anything, they just won't. If you're going to IO your toon, and honestly I wouldn't see why you wouldn't, proc out Jolting Chain, Ice Arrow, and Acid Arrow all with damage procs. You will get a surprising amount of damage out of all three when properly proced. Personally if I was going to do this, I would make a Plant/TA and IO it (but then again I make all my toons gods). Perma Seeds, Carrion Creepers, Roots, Oil Slick, Disruption/EMP Arrow, and dropping proced out acid/ice arrows. You'd have 2 single target holds in your chain as well for instant mag on a boss and to help stack for AV's and Mending Mitos. Hell I might just make this as I've been trying to come up with another toon to lvl to 50 and build out as after 111, I'm running low on ideas.
  5. I've personally played CoH with my Quest 2 using Virtual Desktop. You end up with a really big virtual monitor for the game. It doesn't allow you to actually control your character like a virtual avatar, but my god would that be cool.
  6. Tf missions should auto advance to the next mission the moment the first person exits the previous mission upon mission completion.
  7. Download and install Vidiot's maps as those maps highlight where npc mob groups are found on a particular map.
  8. Have a toon that can take out Atta with stealth and reveal/mission teleporter. During the trial unlock arc: Atta always spawns in his throne room which looking at the map is on the lower left hand side. You do not need to kill Atta's guards just him. Starting the Trial, mission teleport go in, and stealth the 8 glowies, then run to final room where npc is being harassed by standard igneous mobs, ignore the monster. Free the NPC and voila. <2 minutes if you hustle.
  9. I've used it to great effect, and a previous poster was right procs are great. The biggest hamper I have on rad blast is that I feel like I have time to go grab a new beer from when I click Neutron Bomb to when it hits.
  10. My water/bio/psi sentinel has solo'd all the Freedom Phalanx TF's, also solo'd the Maria Jenkins and Tina McIntyre AV missions having fought them all as AV's. Water does well has decent damage single target and aoe, mitigation, and a self heal which pairs great with Bio Armor, and as others have stated Dominate and Mind Probe are amazing and Linked Minds is great too.
  11. Why not change the power completely??? Idea change it into a power called Poisoned Bait. Poisoned Bait is a stationary Massive AOE Taunt Aura, this pulls in mobs to where the trap's user has likely already set up multiple traps. Because Poisoned Bait is also Poisonous, it has a pulsing -MaxHP, -Def, and -End. It takes Recharge, End Rdx, Defense Debuff, Heal, End Mod, and Accuracy Enhancements It takes Accurate Defense Debuff, Accurate Healing, Defense Debuff, and End Mod Set IOs. Now we can bait in mobs to our traps where we are laying an ambush, they get further debuffed, and it fits the Traps' Set more thematically.
  12. Curious how wagering influence or reward merits earned in game for a chance at an in-game reward of additional merits/influence adds any additional legal risk whatsoever to a group running a technically illegal private server open to the public. I would completely understand that there would be increased legal riak if players were wagering cryptocurrency or nfts that could be transferred into real world fiat. Seeing as we already have things like superpacks and converters that players wager their influence or reward merits on in the hopes that they will either make more influence or get a desired item, I figure if there was any actual legal risk for gambling an in-game currency for and in-game reward that boat sailed back during live. Which one could argue is in breach of the language of the gambling section of the CoC of this server as it exists, and might be due for a review for potential amendment. That all said I'm not trying to sound contradictory, but merely attempting to understand any perceived increase of risk, as that's something in my career/academic wheelhouse. Thanks.
  13. The best Alpha I would think for an Elec Corruptor would be Musculature Radial, as you'll get more damage, and your sapping will be better and your end recovery better so you don't run out of end yourself too bad. That frees up your destiny from ageless (unless you want the recharge as the recharge in ageless doesn't effect proc rates because it's considered a global like an LOTG+7.5) to choose barrier if your not solving your defense with IO set bonuses or Clarion, which I'd choose the radial path to also boost your sapping on your attacks and other secondary effects. Hybrid typically either Assault or Support works overall the best imo.
  14. Going off that Agility's recharge component also lowers proc rates.
  15. OP, the best bet is for you to get experience with those powers. Install the test server and give them a whirl. If you like them put them on your toon for real. Takes all of 30 minutes to install the test server, import your toon, and test it out.
  16. I remember asking for this back during live. It would make so much sense. The closest workaround I've gotten is making multiple target by name macros and changing the name on the fly as needed for quantums or sappers, cairns, force field generators etc.
  17. One will find there are multiple levels of skill involved with jousting as any knight would know. I still remember when they added travel suppression because people casually trying out PvP didn't have that jousting twitch. Its kind of ironic that travel suppression only exists in PvE now (but it helps with risk vs..reward because let's face it the AI isn't the smartest).
  18. Thanks Mac, that's what I was thinking too but MM's have always been my least used AT.
  19. Does anyone know if a FF+recharge proc slotted into an MM's pet grants +recharge to the caster, or does it apply to the pet (even though I understand that the pets themselves do not benefit from recharge enhancing abilities)? Thanks.
  20. It would be cool to have a tiered event that slowly rebuilds Galaxy City. There's construction assets like cranes and I-beams and such, so in theory should be possible. Repopulate GC Memorial Wall for all that died during Galaxy City's Destruction Could transition it to a higher level zone, maybe with Shivans, Rularuu, etc. Like a precursor to Battalion.
  21. I have an IO'd ss/sd and it's alright, the issue is rage crash will probably drop you out of softcapped defense as it unfairly hurts defense based toons more then resistance based toons. That said I also have an SD/SM (shield/stone melee) and it's amazing. You can proc out fault to boost your recharge, you get shield charge back faster and can spam Tremor every 5 or so seconds when IO'd depending on your global recharge. Also strong single target and the animations feel impactful.
  22. Could be interesting. Personally though I've found newspaper/radio missions usually too easy as they often use the same predictable easy to beat npc groups in there. Would be interesting to spice it up and randomize the npc groups from all level related npc groups for the appropriate alignment.
  23. Invuln was my first 40 and first 50 when they increased the level cap. Since then I've had a lot of experience with invuln in general from back when Unyielding rooted you to the ground so you had to teleport around, sand Perma unstoppable, ED, IO's etc. Invincibility is already really a strong pbaoe power in its own right especially when you have density. Since you're playing an Invuln/SS, I think it would be better if Handclap or Hurl were reworked into a pbaoe/taoe with some degree of damage added for Handclap. That would allow you to slot your +res proc easier and add some much desired aoe to a set that is overdue for a rework.
  24. Yes if and only if there's an option for a bass guitar, as bass is a much better instrument than that of a guitar.
