  1. I would assume no as it only can proc once, but for the higher value.
  2. Please change the text color.
  3. I don't see the channel mentioned in the original post. I moved over to this server and have a level 50 Plant/storm. I am super terrible at making any SG times, but I'll look at getting on the channel if people want to team or even use other characters. I wouldn't mind working on my Alpha more as I believe it is only T1.
  4. Fact, I saw the title and assumed it was about an Earth/earth dom.
  5. No to your first question. Considering the number of MMs rolled which hit 50, I think we would have a new leader in terms of builds which never make it to 50.
  6. If your focus is on the primary, go scrapper. If the focus is more on the secondary and being able to survive longer, go brute. Both primaries are going to feel different on the ATs with added in ATOs. I prefer the faster play of StJ even though TW in motion is damn impressive. WM is a good compromise. WP is better on a brute. I'm not really sure I can say StJ or TW are better on a scrapper or brute but StJ is best on a stalker. About the only definitive thing about either set being better on a scrapper is their Build Up type powers offering more damage for a scrapper. WP's lack of clicks is nice for TW though. Ultimately TW comes down to being able to deal with Momentum. I deleted my TW/bio brute in its 30s. I did make a WM/bio scrapper.
  7. I would take everything for WP outside of the rez and Strength of Will. I would take everything from StJ outside of Taunt and Combat Readiness while picking one of those depending upon what you want your role to be. I say this in terms of leveling. Once you hit 50 and want to finalize a build, Initial Strike would likely be the one power to drop. WP's taunt aura isn't the best, but it will be enough and a lot of the alpha issue can be dealt with merely being the first character in. I'm not ignoring the art of actual tanking. My SG on Live took pride in that art form. I am saying I was doing this on a scrapper on a TF with two brutes and had a teammate sent me a tell giving me compliments. So I don't think Taunt is really needed for a brute, but if you feel the need, by all means. I also rarely get comments about my brutes not having Taunt. I have slowly taken up the idea for making a team build and thus adding it in. Solo build? CR all the way or even still by default. While CR offers more than a damage boost, I feel like so much of brute's damage comes from fury to where a build up type power is less needed, see Werner not taking it at all. Outside of those, travel powers. I default SJ/CJ on melee. Kick/Boxing with Tough and Weave. Maneuvers and Tactics although Tactics is a lesser need. You are really using Maneuvers to help with building your def up. Add in whatever Epic you want. I went Body for more end recovery and regen and it fits their theme. (Grumbles about Lore) This way I could look elsewhere when doing Incarnates. Hasten could be a good add. WP doesn't need it, but it would help StJ. It also helps two level 50 recharge is about all it really needs.
  8. Nin loses out on AoE compared to other ATs which use Kat. It would be one thing if it was a cone, but it is the PBAoE. I've done Kat once and Claws twice to 50 and likely see less of an issue with the damage types, but I'm not looking at them from a spreadsheet DPS standpoint. It isn't that I wouldn't go Nin, but I would rather have it on one of the other ATs using Kat. Honestly, Staff is about the only really good weapon set for stalkers. I think Dark, Elec, Ice, Savage, or StJ are all other really good options. If Breath of Fire works for you, then Fire is fine. I don't like the animation. Shield is end hungry and I don't see Elec making that much of a difference, but I am mostly looking at it from a Kin/elec player so my viewpoint is quite different. I felt like the end kickback was nice, but I would still slot normally for a build. I would likely go Cardiac as a default for Alpha with Shield. My default epic for Shield is Body just to get some end recovery to make things more tolerable until you hit 50. More regen is nice as well for a set without a heal. I haven't tried Rad on a stalker, but I do have a level 32 brute with it and I like it. My default for stalkers/scrappers is Energy Aura with Shield being second.
  9. But you can't slot anything into the immob power to change it is what I was implying.
  10. To cover this response better, you can't change the immob powers themselves to be KD. It is the power which is doing the KB which needs the KD, see Khelds referenced by the OP.
  11. Do you even brute, bro? 🤣
  12. Why skip on one of the two AoEs you get?
  13. Mentioned in the other thread, but Theft of Essence proc in Dark Regeneration was the biggest upswing for me in terms of end management back on Live when I had a /dark brute.
  14. My take is as long as a melee set doesn't lose an AoE going from scrapper to stalker than the set is worth playing. How much AoE you need in the day and age of steamrolling Incarnate death machines is up to you. I'll also point out StJ is fantastic for stalkers.
  15. It should. I think the biggest issue is managing endurance and recharge.
  16. I think I would go with "All of the above." DM has lesser AoE currently so it isn't that great for farming, but I see no reason why it can't be made to solo AV/GMs. Rad/da could certainly farm with two damage auras. Again, I think any work on some level, but I would lean DM/bio or Rad/da depending on what you want your focus to be.
  17. I don't recall when they were added, but ATOs for scrappers are among the best.
  18. I haven't played mine in about a week, but it was the usual jump in the air type move and I don't consider it short, so unless that got changed, then I would say no.
  19. You can essentially name any build and it is going to have a weakness. Psy damage or a Sapper can make numerous builds pause.
  20. Data is a bit old, but you can search for powers and see what percentage of players take them. https://forums.homecomingservers.com/fotm-powers/
  21. At least you get the version of Kin where SB is a team buff. Not like us old school Kins who had to apply it on each team member. Fulcrum can also let you pass on Siphon Power a bit, but yeah, at the heart of Kin is not stop frenzied play style with lots of buffing. It is likely why I played so many of them in defender form on Live. I was a defender. I was suppose to buff. I had an old SG mate who's namesake was a Ice/kin controller. You will be waiting until epics to do any sort of real damage. Fulcrum could honestly feel a bit wasted on the build. If someone wanted an Ice corr with a controller feel, I would go Ice/dark corr. Tar Patch and drop those rains.
  22. People who post ignorant stuff. One person would not let up on how Khelds sucked even with a PB on the team. I have seen another in General. Maybe more due to a pet peeve, but people who don't know how to run farms, ie they keep dying or they run maps with low level characters and using maps where mobs wonder. If you want to run farms and add people in, know your stuff. I know, my characters are getting PLed, but as an example today I had a character go from like 6 to 21. Me running on a lower diff setting dual boxing took a character from 1 to 27.8 using the same maps and that's before a level shift to +1. If I can get more XP for my guy running +2 versus you doing it +4, then I might as well just dual box.
  23. Update. This isn't 100% my common IO build on Live, but it is close and honestly a bit cleaned up. I literally had slots to toss around near the end so this can absolutely be played with even at this level. In some cases two level 50 commons will work well enough compared to three level 25 commons. If you are looking at rarer IOs on a super basic level, one Gladiator's Armor +3 Def and Steadfast Protection +3 Def into your Resist based powers put 5 out of the 7 types at 44% or higher Def. Neg would be 38% and Psy nearly 12%. Note, those numbers are based on level 25 IOs. I would also grab at a minimum the two ATO procs if not the full sets. Also, I was tossing around slots and not paying attention to what level I was adding them in, so add slots where and when you think you need them.
