  1. Hulk is SS. Spider-Man is SJ. The end.
  2. You'll pry SS from any Kin/sonic I make from its cold dead hands. SS + Fulcrum is a beautiful thing. You can add in other sets as well, ie Rad, Dark, etc.
  3. Outside of Ice and /ice, I would offer up Dark and /dark. I think blasters with a bit of control is my sweet spot for the AT.
  4. Pretty much every build I was going to reroll if CoH came back I have and I don't think any of them are living up to the hype I had in my head about them even if I did really enjoy them before. Some even got to 50 on live. Currently favoring Water/ice way more than I thought possible. Even, "Wait, they gave blasters Dark/dark?" is kind of sitting and waiting.
  5. Just need to kill the EB in Black Scorpion's arc to get the badge required. Auto complete the defeat all.
  6. Nothing overtly stands out for scrappers. Damage auras function better for brutes as things run away less. Brutes have higher resistance cap. Add in higher HP and I don't really see a compelling reason to go scrapper.
  7. For solo play, I would rank them Plant > Fire > and Dark. Dark just takes longer to get up and running. I think it is fine in the end.
  8. Maybe I missed something, but I feel like you can have two game accounts under the same forum account. I know I made multiple accounts for dual-boxing and don't recall needing multiple e-mail address.
  9. O.o Sonic isn't as good? It is still one of the set blast sets. Defenders get the best -res out of it. My main on live was Kin/elec. Went Elec/kin controller and can honestly say I'm not looking back.
  10. The sleep and hold/disorient will make /sonic easier to solo.
  11. It's like your entire experience is a John Woo Flick. Sometimes in a good way, sometimes in a bad way. I have no idea what that means. Everything moving in slow motion.
  12. Never slotted more than 1 recharge into an attack. I would go 1 acc, 3 damage, 1 recharge, 1 end redux for a single target. Add 1 more acc and take out the recharge in the AoE attack. I don't see how skipping out on end redux for your attacks isn't going to bleed you dry. I can't think of any situational toggle unless it was something like an "Oh crap" power.
  13. You can modify your reputation so even solo you can face mobs as a team of 8. Add in mission rewards and there's little reason to run around street sweeping. I ran around Atlas in a good area for large mobs on a Spines brute and street swept until 4, but that was really to get a bit up and running. Most people hit level 2-3 and then do Death From Below, aka DFB for quick early leveling.
  14. Both sets are rather rock solid. I am running it on my namesake. I'm only 24, see too many alts and rerolls keeping me distracted. Broke down and did some teaming and only issue was end drain from Freakshow, but I'm only 24 and running on common IOs. I also faced off against a significant amount of purples. This is basically the power selection I am going with when leveling. Not sure how expensive I will go or just do it in stages. 15. Fire/Kin isn't really a 'pairing' since there's no particular synergy between the sets. Fire Blast is simply a strong offensive set for anyone who can take it. Kinetics is arguably better for Corruptors than Defenders due to the higher +damage cap. However, it's extremely hard for Corruptors to manage the kind of defenses that would enable them to reliably reach that damage cap via Fulcrum Shift. In general, Kinetics tends to be a much stronger set for Controllers/Masterminds than it is for Corruptors/Defenders because Kinetics is primarily a melee buff set - and Controllers/Masterminds bring their own melee to buff. One can at least say the debuff numbers are better for a defender when talking Cold/sonic. Fire? Not so much, and considering Kins thing is damage, I have a harder time defending playing a Kin/fire over a Fire/kin corr. I can at least see why you go Cold/sonic. Fulcrum + Rain of Fire/Fire Breath + scourge. Nope, no synergy there.
  16. Elec also protects against end drain.
  17. I would argue Fire/kin corr is an ever better pairing than the defender version.
  18. I would go controller over a corr if I was looking for a defender/support build alternate. Kin or any of the better debuffs sets with /sonic will make end game AVs rather easy.
  19. While some of these are easy to figure out, is there a list for where these are at? I have been looking for some, and can't seem to find them. Since it wasn't listed, is there no place to store recipes?
  20. Because Claws doesn't have a seemless attack chain while leveling. Brutes use Brawl to help build fury. Kick would easily fill that need until later on.
  21. Yeah, that sucks, the attacks in the fighting pool are worthless to weapon sets due to redraw and yes, you can go "no redraw" but thats pretty damn buggy still. Pretty sure Brawl does a similar attack with no redraw if you already have Claws drawn. Maybe I need to look into seeing about changing over to no redraw on Kick. This just feels like a specific issue for brutes would use it as an attack to build fury with and not using Brawl. Not that I plan on it being part of a final attack chain, just, yeah.
  22. Sometimes people will offer up something for 1 influ which means it sells practically instantly but on the low side. My guess is that's what is happening. Far better to get the memorization badges and slot level 25 common IOs. Sell the level 30s on the market and this can be done as a way to get startup money. SOs are just a waste of resources.
  23. Huh. Honestly haven't noticed on my Claws/wp. The only issue I have seen is Kick requiring redraw, which honestly there is no reason for.
  24. Would be interesting to see which you like more as they both level. I leveled /regen to 50 on live once. Once. :) 40-50 is only kind to/regen since at 50 you are maxing out IOs sets and Incarnates.
