Well, they can't have pizza, chocolate pie, or butterscotch pudding. They could always have some mushrooms though. Just keep an eye on them though, they bite back.

If you are going to go with generic non-set IOs, I would suggest you use the level 25 IOS. 1) They're cheaper to craft than level 30 IOs (if you go the crafting route) B) The enhancement difference between 3 SOs of your level and 3 level 25 IOs is negligible and will be barely noticed, if noticed at all. ii) Granted, the level 30 IOs give a better enhancement boot. Personally, I don't think it is enough to warrant the more expensive crafting cost. 9) Be excellent to each other.

The Pizza joint I worked at in....1994, had a dessert pizza made with vanilla pudding and chocolate chips. they also had one with chocolate pudding and M&Ms. If I'm not misremembering, they even had one with cherry pie filling.

I thought it was already settled that it was going to be Pizza (pie)...without Pineapple!

If you could radically overhaul 1 thing....

It was just the starting contacts, I believe they branched off. Generally starting with the other matching pairs for the DO enhancements. Meaning that Science could send you to a Technology, or a....natural(?) contact. That, I am a little (a lot) less certain of. I do know that your starting contact was based on your origin. The entire fabric of the multi-verse would implode resulting in a large bowl of butterscotch pudding that no one would be left to complain about. (or eat) -
This is why I think having the ATs as a modifer to a baseline character would be helpful in balancing everything (on the character side) All the various ATs' modifiers would be able to be easier to balance among each other because the Devs could use a baseline Attack/Defense testing set. The same could be said for the power-sets. they would be easier to balance among themselves because the Devs would use the basleline character with no AT mods. Also, you wouldn't have 4 iterations of the same powerset. The AT mods, in conjunction with the powersets chosen, would be what adds the flavor to the character. A scrapper with Martial Arts and Fiery Armor would play differently than a Tank (or a brute or Stalker) with the same powersets. In case you're wondering how Stalkers would work with this, their Hide would become an inherent power available at level 1, much like Kheldians with their travel powers. Also, one of the attacks in the melee attack sets would be flagged that when Stalker Hide is active, it gets bonus damage. Of course, all this would probably be better served in a CoH2, since it would, probably, need 60% of the game to be rebuilt from the ground up.

The sonic secondary would help your Phantom Army deal more damage, If they attacked the right target...

If I recall correctly, and I'm 99.7% certain I am, Issue 0 CoH pretty much had that. You started as a Science origin, you had a contact that sent you after the Vahzilok, at level 1. I believe there was much wailing and gnashing of teeth about that. There wasn't as much complaining about the contact for Technology sending you after Clockwork at level 1. (before Fitness was inherent) I think most people tended to choose Natural origins because that sent you up against the 5th Column. -
Those guys give a new meaning to eye teeth...

This is what I was going to point out. You have three two options: Quality, Quickness, and low cost. Problem is, you can only choose two one of the options. I'm fairly sure that the Devs for HC, are working other jobs to make a living and doing this on their down time. And, they seem to value quality over quantity.

How about Order fall-down-and-go-splat?

I will agree that player toxicity isn't relegated to just PvP players. I have come across several players I would consider toxic in PvE. I will say this though, spontaneously punching someone in the face repeatedly isn't likely to garner you a friendly reaction. So, why would you expect a friendly response to repeatedly attacking and defeating people that were, probably, not interested in PvP? In my experience, there is no difference between griefers/toxic players in CoH and griefers/toxic players in other games.

questions Rogue playthrough - Contacts and Patrons

Now, I think we're getting a little into philosophical territory. I don't think that your emotional state determines who you are deep down, that would be your personality. Being angry won't make you a sadist. Being happy won't make you an altruistic saint. Having a fear of people won't turn you into the Scarecrow. Your personality traits determine how you will react in situations, not your emotional state. The emotional state will, most times, be what urges an action to be taken. But, it doesn't determine the action that will be taken. I'm also of the opinion that personality traits can change over time. It would require work to do so though. I think that Stefan (Recluse) had a flawed personality, not a flawed emotional state, that resulted in him becoming the Recluse that we know now. Now, whether one would be able to fight against that personality flaw and be the good guy, despite the pressure of the Well, I don't know. If it was possible, it would require an enormous amount of self control and will power. You can take all of the above with a handful of salt, because I'm not a Psychologist. -
What you listed was why PvPers don't like PvP in Coh. I do like my characters powers to function the same whether I'm PvPing or PvEing. I think everyone would. In my experience, in EVERY game (including CoH live) that I've played that had PvP, when I have participated in PvP, I have been attacked my multiple people on numerous occasions. Rarely, if ever, have I been accosted by a single individual. I don't know about you, but I don't really enjoy being on the receiving end of a Gank-fest when it's 5 against 1. As, you might have noticed, all that I said above had nothing to do with the conversational toxicity of the PvPers that I have come into contact with. But, that's just my experience.

Large caliber weapon. Probably something like a howitzer... Which means, either they were very good shots, or extremely lucky... -
Ever been disapointed after a respec?

But But But This isn't City of spreadsheets... (I almost used a Lethal Weapon 2 movie line, but it might have been considered racists by some, and made absolutely no sense in context to the conversation) -
They didn't say that participating in PvP brought out the worst in people, just that PvP existing did. they were also showing an example of that at the same time.

I don't know about that. He had a choice in how he reacted to what he views as enslavement. -

Agent Knockback is planning on taking every power in the FF/Energy (Defender) combo that has KB. And, he refuses to have any KB-KD enhancements slotted. Otherwise, he'd be Agent Knockdown. Doesn't have the same impact to it.
