  1. In 38 levels, my AR/Dev blaster hasn't run into anything that she can't target. And, I regularly use Full Auto as I slide behind a wall... So, I'm technically firing blindly at targets I can't see. (and pulling them onto the trip mine I set around the corner...) 😋
  2. Like, maybe, Full Auto?
  3. If brute force doesn't solve your problem, you aren't using... oops. Wrong AT...
  4. maybe add some smoke...or take away some smoke. Is it just smoke and mirrors?
  5. Back in the day, I used to team with my brother a lot. We both had TF foe on our characters. He'd drop a Trip mine or six, and I'd scout out the bad guys. I'd select a nice target that wouldn't aggro the entire group, and he'd TP foe the guy onto his mines by targeting through me. But, that was also back before Incarnates, and being able to easily deal with +?/x8 missions. Some of us aren't as interested in clearing missions in 30 seconds or less. Devices for blasters isn't really a power-set that is built for speed runs.
  6. The only drawback I see with combining TP for and Recall friend is that you can't target though someone else and TP the foe to you. other than that, the Teleport changes look pretty ok.
  7. At least they have that costume option...
  8. If I'm not mistaken, The Support Hybrid offers an End discount that is always active whether the Hybrid power is currently being used or not. I also think it's a rather hefty End discount as well...at least at tier 3.
  9. I use numpadenter for my travel powers. I also use the number pad itself for my movement. I have a character in a mech suit that adds a jet pack when he flies. His rotating keybind is: flyon.txt numpadenter "powexectoggleon fly$$cc2$$bind_load_file D:/coh/keybinds/flyoff.txt" and flyoff.txt numpadenter "powexectoggleoff fly$$cc1$$bind_load_file D:/coh/keybinds/flyon.txt To to prime your characters keybind, just type /bin_load_file D:/coh/keybinds/flyon.txt What that does is that whenever I hit the key for my travel power, it will either toggle the power on, or off, and change to the appropriate costume slot, depending on which bind is currently loaded. It also makes correcting the costume sync issue, from a defeat with fly on, easy. To set it up, just create the 2 text files, and place them in the CoH folder somewhere. I like to keep all my keybinds together, so I created a keybinds folder in the CoH folder. Just make sure the path in the bind_load_file command matches where you actually placed the text files. Note: you can substitute another key for the numpadenter key
  10. If they do, then they're not a threat, since Winders forces feature updates through that can cause the system to crash.
  11. There should be a Black Pearl for all the ghost pirates to fight over...
  12. You would need a swish and flick for any power that did knock up.
  13. You have Lift and Propel in the Grav Primary And a few slows and at least one -regen in the time secondary. Not to mention a couple DoT heals and a few other tricks. Of course, the Singularity also does damage and holds, and immobs, and repels. Repel is nice when fighting Warwolves. Just place yourself inside the Singularity and they'll never hit you more than once. My current Grav/Time (level 50) is able to deal with x8 missions solo. But, I also built her for maximum hold mag and recharge. Which is why she has 3 holds and 5 chance for holds. She also has about 60% S/L resistance, and 40% fire/cold/psi resistance. (Note: all that is at level 50) Your PuG mates might get a little annoyed if nothing is able to fight back though. 😋
  14. Except even Ice Armor Tanks at level 50+1 can get mezzed on occasion while fighting large (x8) groups of +4 Carnies. Which can suck for the two other people fighting along side the mezzed tank.
  15. If you would like a metric ton of holds, I'd go with Grav/Time controller. Without adding in chance for hold IO procs or Singularity, you'd have 2 ST holds, an AoE hold, and an AoE slow with a chance for hold. You can easily toss in 4 more chance for holds in there, then the Singularity for more CC madness. With some favor from the RNG diety, you can hold AVs, practically on your own.
  16. Are you sure its not because you're wearing plaid with bright orange pants or something?
  17. There's another thread here about Wands as an animation style for blast sets...maybe the Devs could make an animation update, sometime in the next 50 years...
  18. I recall that a lot of the power-sets got alternate animations back on live. both Melee and Ranged. Making a wand alt animation for blast sets, would require new animations to be made. Which is why I think it would be a veeeeery long time in coming, if at all. I'm sure someone would like to have wand alt animations for some control sets as well. Wingardium Leviosa, anyone?
  19. So, she's a failed Knightfall in disguise.
  20. I never thought that the first one would be easy. And, I'm not holding my breath for it either. I figure, that, if they could manage to move the origin point of the powers, then they'd be able to set up a set of wand animations for blast sets, that would only be available if the wand weapon were picked as a costume piece. Actually, it is possible for them to move, or set up a new point of origin for powers, because the Fire Blast set has alternate animations for many of its attacks. Since I haven't written any code in the last 15 years, I am hesitant to say that it would be "super easy, barely an inconvenience."
  21. Do you get a badge, if you "somehow" lose the bag of badges?
  22. OR, outside the shop in the case of Atlas Icon. If I'm not mistaken.
  23. Would the battle cry be, "I am the POWER, Creep!"?
  24. If they could alter the point of origin for the powers, then the wand could be just another alternate animation for the powers. I might also make the wand a costume option, like the different weapon styles.
