  1. Wouldn't that be like a vacuum? I mean, they would be a bunch of blondes in a group... *runs away before bodily harm is done*
  2. Widows are a good choice for going with run speed. My widow currently runs at around 72 mph with Sprint and Ninja Run going. (She's not even level 50 yet) That's with no added slots to Sprint or Swift or Mental Training. Granted I do have a few +run speed bonuses from sets.
  3. What do you think the Chantry in the Shadow Shard is for? It's big. It's spherical. It's hollow.
  4. Does that mean you're an English teacher? I'm sure nearly all English teachers care as well.
  5. The problem with that is that some mobs are level capped. I think Skulls and Hellions are capped at around level 15 (+/- 5 levels)
  6. The undead slaying war maxe? Still not as good as the shotgun axe...
  7. I guess I forgot to put the 😋in there for that one comment. Honestly, I figured that everyone would realize that it was meant in jest. Looks like I was mistaken.
  8. So you can play a villain called the Hamburgerler?
  9. There is a "temp" flight power available at the p2W vendor at level 1. you just have to deal with getting detoggled and not being allowed to use ANY other power while it's in use. It's the magic carpet. Right next to the Rocketboard and void skimmer. Would be nice if they removed the detoggling part of that and just made it suppression instead.
  10. Funny story... My brother and I were talking about LASER once, and what it stood for. He said, "Light Amplification by...Something... Emission of Radiation." I replied, "I know that the S doesn't stand for "Something". At the time we couldn't recall that it stood for Stimulated. Just one of those brain-fart moments that are memorable.
  11. I think the Wal-Mart here in town subscribes to the calendar where Christmas music starts Nov. 1st at 12:00 am...
  12. I never said that it would be difficult to change the way the Costume files pointed to the costumes pieces. And, as you said, it would be tedious. The main question is, are there things more important that changing the back-end of the costume system, for a change that only switches how the list of costume pieces are viewed, when (most likely) 99.999999999% of the players couldn't care less. In other words, what would the return of Investment be for that change? Personally? I'd take that proposal wad it up, and toss it in the fireplace to use as tender. The RoI for that would be practically non-existent. Also, as I said before, I don't actually know how the whole costume system works. What I described in my previous post just seemed logical to me. However, the original programmers for this game went in some pretty illogical directions. So, I could very well be (and most likely am) wrong.
  13. Someone should tell him that smoking a pack a minute might be a bit much...
  14. Basically, for the "Pray and Spray" Assault Rifle power, you'd want to use the Rain of Arrows mechanic, but less arcing of the projectiles. To target that needs to be picked, just the location. It would work. Now, which power in the AR power-set would you be willing to toss out? Personally, I could see replacing Full Auto with this. You could even keep the same name.
  15. Most likely, what they did was use the row number in the list as the part's ID number. It makes sense for lists that don't change. And, for a while, the costume parts list didn't change. To fix it, they'd probably have to add a new column in the array specifically for the Part ID number. Then, probably point the character's costume parts to the new column instead of the row number. Then, after all that, put up with all the complaints about costumes being broken, if it wasn't implemented carefully enough. Note: Not having seen the code, I can't say with certainty that this is how the costume set-up works. This is all conjecture and wild guessing on my part.
  16. One shouldn't take pictures of the Weeping Angels...
  17. Patrol XP will stack with the Law Enforcer bonus XP. I use that in conjunction with P2W Double XP on occasion to "power level" some characters. By power leveling, I mean teaming up with a level 50 or 2 and run their missions.
  18. Maybe the door has phasing technology built in that causes damage to pass into a different dimension. Only it can't be active all the time, so pulses, and you manage to "hit" it during one of the times it is, ever so briefly, phase shifted and don't do any damage to it. Personally, I haven't really noticed when I miss while attacking a door. I have, on the other hand, noticed when my Cone attack misses 13 people in a tight group and only hits 1...usually way in the back of the group.
  19. You could see it as, you missed hitting the door squarely enough to actually do damage to it. In other words, struck it a glancing blow. Even professional carpenters might miss hitting the nail solidly on the head.
  20. It didn't exist at the launch of the game in 2004. I don't recall when it was instituted, but it was well after the launch of the game.
  21. In 38 levels, my AR/Dev blaster hasn't run into anything that she can't target. And, I regularly use Full Auto as I slide behind a wall... So, I'm technically firing blindly at targets I can't see. (and pulling them onto the trip mine I set around the corner...) 😋
