  1. My bit of advice is: If you are going to use basic IOs I'd use level 25s. They're about 1% less efficient than an even level SO, and they won't turn yellow or red on you. Then you can save your Inf for the set IOs that you're looking for. I have a blaster that I don't plan on getting Sets for until she reaches 50. Until then, I'm just selling all my recipe drops and salvage, and getting level 25 basic IOs.
  2. I might have gone with "Don't try this at home" But, that's probably too many characters. Last week, I did make my Fire/Stone Tank named him Agent Michelin.
  3. Slap two of them together with peanut butter in between and you'll have a sandwich...pie. I'd suggest a pop tart flavor that went well with peanut butter though. Not sure that cinnamon and peanut butter would be all that tasty
  4. But, the door or phone booth might not want to be touched...
  5. The second coming had already happened on live, years after his first...Unique Post. This would be the third coming...
  6. You would want your strongest, most durable pet to be your melee fighter. That would be the tier 9 pet.
  7. I'd make the Tier 3 the melee fighter, the tier 1 ranged fighters and the tier 2 support. This is, mostly, how the Mercs set is organized...and Thugs, if I'm not mistaken.
  8. My Widow has 10 toggles that she uses in combat, plus 1 when out of combat (or I forget to turn sprint off in combat, which is rare) I have a keybind that toggles between combat jumping and Ninja Run. Double Tactics, Maneuvers and Assault. Status protection, and the Stealth toggles. And, the Ghost Widow patron pool Darkest Night toggle. Nice thing is that I don't need Sprint on while in missions to get around quickly, since the run speed without Sprint and/or Ninja Run is just over 40 MPH.
  9. I built my desktop in Feb 2012. Had to replace the Secondary HDD (where I keep all my non OS stuff. I boot up on an SSD) The G-force GTX 550Ti Graphics card died too. I'm currently using the *shudders* integrated graphics for the MOBO. Fortunately, that suffices for CoH...barely. Unfortunately, I barely make enough to pay my bills. So, I can't afford a new video card.
  10. In my experience, the Praetorian clockwork are annoying because they spread out all over the place and fire at you from range. Making any AoEs I have practically worthless. That's really about the only issue I have with them.
  11. Now I have an idea for a Melee guy. Probably a Brute, or maybe a Tank. Fire/Stone I guess I could call him.....Fixaflat or maybe All Weather Radial.
  12. That would be a subjective opinion, I think. Some Illusion Controllers would welcome the chaos of PA, since they're the ones tanking for the team. I did back on live with my Illusion/FF controller. They distracted everything else while I kept two or three bosses busy. Of course, I appropriately named my PA, Chaos, Mayhem and Pandemonium.
  13. My Widow is soft capped at around 45% - 50% (give or take) to all three positions. It jumps to about 160% when a friend uses Incarnate Barrier. I could gt it higher if I used Mindlink as well. I haven't actually hit the hard cap yet.
  14. Do you log into your level 50 and play level 10 content on a regular basis? I didn't think so. Neither does the vast majority of the people that play this game. So, the chances of a level 50 acquiring a level 15 IO enhancement recipe is rather low. On the other hand, the chances of a level 15 character acquiring a level 15 IO enhancement recipe are relatively high in comparison. The crafting fee to craft a level 15 IO (Non-set damage) is 3600 Inf. The crafting fee to craft a level 45 IO (Non-set damage) is 177200 Inf. Crafting fees for set enhancements are very similar, if not the same. Level 15 and level 45 set enhancements are all pulled from the same pool in the Auction House. So, a person that puts up a level 15 Javelin's Volley for 5000 Inf (or whatever the Ranged Damage PvP set is called) and another person puts a level 45 version of the same enhancement up for sale at the same price. And, both of those people's enhancements are bought for 15,000,000 Inf. Yes, they both paid the same in auction fees, but... The person that crafted the level 15 enhancement made a bit more of a profit than the guy who crafted the level 45 version. And trust me, 173,600 Inf isn't chump change to a level 15 making it on his own. Side note: The majority of the people that farm for Inf/Recipes/grandmothers glasses won't do so at level 15. They'll get on their level 50 and do some (generally fairly specific) level 50 missions, so they will have access to ALL their powers (and most likely incarnate abilities as well). Because they want to rake in the most rewards with the least amount difficulty. A level 50 farming at level 15 is rather ridiculous, in my opinion.
  15. Actually, it sort of does. A high level character doesn't, normally, get low level recipes as drops. (unless they're using Oro or doing a low level teammates mission) So, the low level character has more reliable access to the low level recipes, with lower crafting costs. They put them up for sale at WW/BM for a paltry sum of 1000 Inf. Some level 50 buys that enhancement for 1M Inf, and the lowbie just made a profit. This doesn't exclude high level characters from making a profit in that manner. It's just easier for the lowbie to do so, because they have easier access to the lowbie recipes.
  16. A Level 10 Invention enhancement, generally, costs less to craft than a level 50 invention enhancement.
  17. For years after UniqueDragon wrote that post that WELL BE GONE TO THE AMERICANS, he only had that one post. Then one day, a few forum goers noticed that UniqueDragon had a post count of more than 1. and he was very surprised that he had a following.
  18. So, that's like the Hydra version of Altitis? Level one character to fifty, and three more shall takes its place! Hail Hydritis!
  19. She probably had worse than deer in her front yard...
