  1. That's not hard to pull off when replacing the mercs' guns with feathers would increase their damage output.
  2. The T9s will NEVER be worth taking so long as there's a crash involved. No power in ANY game is strong enough to justify a crash, end of discussion. Ditch the crash, then you can talk about balancing the power so it's worth something.
  3. The odds of Sents overtaking Blasters are zero. As-is, they struggle to keep pace with Defenders because of their gimped target caps and lack of buff/debuff options. Reducing their range on top of that is just rubbing it in.
  4. Well for starters there's no guarantee the game engine can even handle a -res value that big ....
  5. The difference is, debuffs can be (and usually are) partially resisted. Mez is all or nothing; you either have enough magnitude to have an effect or you don't. Duration (ALSO resistable and commonly done so) vs recharge is what determines whether you can stack enough mag to matter against anything above Lt, and removing the ability to enhance duration would basically render most controls worthless. Control-heavy sets and any content (ex - Hamidon) that relied on them would be rendered unplayable.
  6. You say that like it's a good thing to have escort missions (already objectively the worst quest type in gaming) require the player to shut down a chunk of their survivability to actually make forward progress.
  7. If you're looking at Fold Space, be aware that you need the Alpha shift and Ultimate inspirations to make it work - most enemies will no-sell it otherwise.
  8. Especially considering you need all 6 of those buffs to make a functional MM build.
  9. ... yet. With the currency mechanics for aether implemented, it's only a matter of time before something of value gets locked behind them.
  10. It's a pointless activity that exists for the sole purpose of padding out the TF. That is the very definition of a "time sink". The fact that there are more or less efficient ways to do it is irrelevant. It has no narrative function and no material reward, it's just there to waste people's time.
  11. "Wire-fu" would be more accurate. "Savate" implies the character actually knows how to fight, which MC clearly doesn't.
  12. It also doesn't give any credit towards "Defeat X of Y" badges. If devs want AE to be used for something other than farms, it needs to actually count for something.
  13. That is a really weak excuse for adding a useless time sink and you know it.
  14. Or they could do the REALLY smart thing and eliminate the hunt phase altogether.
  15. This right here is my problem regarding this whole thing. CURRENTLY Aethers are only used for what amounts to permanent Halloween costumes. If you believe that's going to last, I have a bridge to sell you. Nobody, but nobody, goes to the trouble of creating and implementing a new currency in a game without the intent to force people to grind for it. What else is going to get buried behind these particles that're being handed out with a clogged eyedropper? New costume pieces that should've been on the character creator? Enhancements or inspirations that don't drop normally? The door's been opened. What's coming through?
  16. Lorewise, Prae-Hami is more than strong enough to solo the Magisterium iTrial with ease. In fact he was on his way to do exactly that, but we beat him to it. Seeds are plausible for a TF. An Avatar might be plausible for a hardmode TF, with some shenanigans to weaken it beforehand. Prae-Hami himself? Short of an epic asspull, he's beyond even a full league unless more incarnate slots get opened up.
  17. What is that, an organized competition to see who loves foam footballs the most?
  18. Korean corporate culture. It makes the company look bad when someone else makes bank on an IP you couldn't handle.
  19. Standard Code Rant, and all that. But if it's feasible, I'd love to see this.
  20. Lots of folks at Point Du Hoc on Everlasting would LOVE this.
  21. In the forums, as in real life, no action ever gets taken against the one punching down.
  22. Especially when the devs of said game actually dared to question or even argue with the higher-ups. You never, ever question authority in Korean corporate culture.
