  2. 4 Empathy defenders built with the following guidelines Heal Aura - Required by level 1, 3 heals required Heal Other - not required Absorb Pain - not required but useful. 2.5 times as powerful as heal other Resurrect - not required, but nice. Clear Mind - Required by level 20. no slotting recommended or required Fortitude - Required pick at level 12. 2 Defense slots before 22. Recharge and tohit slots to taste. Recovery Aura - Required pick at level 18. 3 recharge slots by level 20. Endmod if you want but not needed. Regeneration Aura - Required pick at level 26. Slot 3 recharges in it by level 27. Slot 3 heals in by level 31. Adrenalin Boost - Required pick at level 32. Slot 3 recharges in it by level 33. Slot 2 heals by level 38 Hasten - 3 Slotted with recharge by level 18 Assault - required by level 24 Tactics - required by level 24, slot with 3 tohit buffs by level 35. obviously you can change min/max with Frankenslotting to build the same thing. The Green Machine build above will plow through just about anything, you'll basically become regen tanks with soft-capped defense.

  5. I personally have never used it, but you're going to lose the E/N defense bonus from 5 slotting Focused Burst with Winter's Bite, but technically you'll still be over the cap, so you should be good.
  6. Another synergy is both sets like to play in melee, so there's that.
  7. I believe the teleport isn't considered a mez, so Domination/Hybrid won't affect this. any thing that gives +mez is duration, not magnitude.
  8. It's annoying, yes, but there's a simple fix for it. If you set the mission as your active task, it will stay there regardless of how many times you zone (it will be the red one, not the yellow one)
  9. if you have more than a couple of IOs that you need to pull out, you can also do a Respec, allowing you to pull out up to 70 (though at the cost of having to pick/reslot all of your powers again.

  12. In addition to what's already been said, I'd like to add slotting -To-hit into Dark attacks means you're sacrificing something else. Damage? don't want to do that, Recharge? Don't want to do that. End Redux? Maybe if you have Cardiac Alpha. Accuracy? Probably don't want to do that unless you have a ton of global accuracy bonuses from IOs.

  15. You can always start your own small team group and advertise it as such. I've done that a handful of times.
  16. No, it's not always that easy. What level was the rest of your team? Were they IO'd out? What was the other Defender? these (and other things) can all impact how easy a team moves. Debuffers are technically not needed in any content, as long as the team comp is right. That being said, they do make all content easier for a team. TA/A is a fun combination, but it really doesn't shine until you get Oil Slick Arrow (26) and EMP Arrow (32) slotted up. Even then, it will never be a solo beast unless you specifically build for it with IOs.
  17. I can't speak to it on Tanks (my highest is only level 8 ) but I can tell you that on Brutes it can destroy stuff.
  18. Believe it or not, mine's simple Tanking Recluse in a Master of Ms. Liberty TF on my WP/Mace. I know it's not the hardest thing to do, but it sure did make me feel powerful.

  20. Regen and WP both need -Regen resistance. I monitor my Regen on my WP/Mace tank and it is amazing how often he'll go from >3%/s to 0. (granted, I've been fighting a lot of Malta recently)

  22. It's ok for area denial, but the KB->KD is just so worth it.
  23. I'd actually 2nd DP regardless of your teaming preferences. Incendiary works great for solo and for teams that don't need the extra damage, Chemical's -damage stacks nicely with FF's Defense for an extra layer of mitigation.
  24. I think the only thing that needs to happen with Placate is the time between activation and going hidden needs to be shortened, now it's at least 1 second, maybe closer to 1.5-2 seconds.
  25. Even on my BS/Nin which has at least 49% defense to all positions I find myself using smoke bomb in larger teams and placate in smaller teams/solo
