  1. That is normal, it will usually take several hours for higher resolutions to be available when you upload to Youtube. Standard practice is to upload the video as unlisted and only list it once the higher resolution processing has finished on their end. https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/71674?hl=en
  2. Wouldn't want those 5 people watching CoH twitch streams to copy your costumes. There's probably more people watching you through a video when you are going up the elevator to your office or appartment. It's not a big deal guys
  3. OP is clearly talking about trying to like Ice Armor and wondering what secondary to pair it with
  4. That's Ice Melee, Ice Armor doesn't get it
  5. SOs are fine, once you get lvl 27 you can look into getting lvl 30 generic IOs for your slots which are similar to SOs but they don't expire. On the /ah go to Enhancement > Crafted > Other to find them. There are a handful of set IOs that are universally good for every AT: These two packages here are, in my book, mandatory for every character to function: Stamina 2 slot: Performance Shifter EndMod + Performance Shifter Endurance Proc Health 3 slot: Numina's Convalescence Regen/Recovery, Miracle +end and Panacea +hit points/Endurance The rest here are extremely good and should be slotted ASAP but not as game changing as what goes into Health and Stamina Defense Set (Combat Jumping, Hover, Weave, Maneuvers, Vengeance): Reactive Defences Scaling Resistance, Shield Wall Teleportation Protection/+Res (All) Resistance Set (Weave, Sonic Shields) Gladiator's Armor +Def (All), Steadfast Protection Resistance/Defence, Steadfast Protection Knockback Resist (if you are playing an AT without Status Protection) Once you are sure you want to play this character and want to put in some more influence, you can fit in 5x Luck of the Gambler Defense/Global Recharge 7.5% into your defense sets for up to 37.5% global recharge boost.
  6. I would cut the Leadership pool and not the Fighting pool since you are using stealth, you can mule your Luck of the Gambler recharges in Stealth and Invisibility instead of needing to take Maneuvers and Vengeance. Tough and Weave give a much bigger bonus to your survivability than Leadership especially since it would be the only place in your build where you can slot the resist sets namely Steadfast Protection +3% global def and Gladiator's Armor +3% global def. Just those 2 IOs slotted in tough by themselves give more defense than Maneuvers. Dropping Leadership will also greatly help you with your endurance management. Looking at your Health pool, instead of Miracle - Heal try running a Panacea +heal/+end instead to get an extra bump in endurance also consider adding a second slot to Stamina for an extra endmod IO. I don't have access to a builder right now to look at the numbers but with all your toggles on in this build as is it's probably way way way in the red for endurance recovery. For your Alpha Slot incarnate, I highly recommend Musculature over Agility if you decide to get rid of Leadership and fix up your Health and Stamina slotting since it won't be needed anymore. Personally I run Musculature on anything that deals damage and if I have end problems I run Ageless from the Destiny slot. Lastly if you want your Hasten to be perma, you really need to add another slot to it for 2x 50+5 recharge IOs
  7. Alpha = All Musculature All The Time™ Not sure I have chosen another one here out of 15ish lvl 50 characters. Sometimes I go for the 45% Damage sometimes for the 33% Damage/Endmod depending on what I need. If I ever get another Controller to 50 (doubtful) I probably would choose something else though Interface = Most suck I usually get tne -hp one to help on AV Jusgement = Ion is the most fun one since it hits the most targets Destiny = The one with the most options. Ageless and Barrier are the 2 good choices here Lore = Doesn't really matter, it's all fluff. Hybrid = Assault on anything that does damage. Support on Controllers and Masterminds
  8. I went Plant/Fire/Fire with mine and I am having a lot of fun playing it. The pairing really starts to shine at level 35 when you get Fireball from your epic pool. All in all though I am having much more fun that I thought I would with this AT
  9. Do yourself a favor and invest in a fire farmer instead, 100 million is pocket change once you can properly farm. Once you can easily get influence, splurging on wacky characters is so much more fun. Have a look over here for the builds:
  10. Pro Tip for doing Patron Arcs, each one of them has a very annoying mission in it where you have to find a bunch of stuff in a huge map. Once you get to that one just call your contact and have him auto complete the mission for you, bypassing it completely
  11. I rerolled my Dom as a Plant/Fire the only real reason I went with /Martial was because I thought expliding shuriken was a TAoE power :x I did like the Trick Shot power a lot though but after getting it to level 30 my playstyle was more to stay back and not blap so much so /Fire is a much better fit for me. Will be going //Fire for the Fireball power too
  12. Just curious as to why you wouldn't choose Explosive Shuriken in your build ? I recently made a Plant/Martial Dom and ES looked like the star power out of the set. I usually don't play Doms, like at all so maybe I'm missing something
  13. Defence goes up to 45% cap which makes it so you have 5% chance of getting hit because enemies have a base 50% chance to hit with any attack. Resists will go up to 90% for tankers and brutes reducing damage by that amount Both are needed to be as tanky as possible but in my experience being def cap > resist cap. Both have their pros and cons but for me def edges out resist on which is better to stack. That being said, when you throw enough influence at it, it's easier to def cap a resist set than it is to resist cap a defence set. Feel free to tweak that build if you want to use it, there's room for improvement since i made it on a budget. I made it with a focus on getting def cap + perma hasten, if you have different priorities and don't mind not having perma hasten you can certainly get the resists a lot higher
  14. @Thunderknuckles Just got home from work and I threw together a little build for you. It's a very inexpensive build that doesn't cap resists but Defenses are capped and Hasten is perma. SD is such an easy set to cap defenses with that I could concentrate on getting perm hasten without resorting to any purple sets. This will get you through most of the content in the game no problem. 15. Not knowing anything about your build, here are a few tips If you are having endurance problems : 3 slots into Health with Panacea, Miracle and Numina's endurance procs + 2 slots in Stamina with Performance Shifter proc +end mod The Atlas Metallion accolade is very easy to get by running Moonfire TF and will give you and extra 5 endurance moving you up to 105 base endurance which makes all of your other end recovery things stronger since they work off a % base The Ageless incarnate for the Destiny slot that you can access post 50 will usually take care of any endurance problems you have and it will eventually be perma once it's high enough level. Only drawback is that it's not usable when you exemplar down for low level content
  16. Thanks for that ! I changed a thing or 2 on the build, because now i want to see how Frost looks like with a range enhancement in it, just swapped the Kismet +acc (never really use it in my builds and I don't see that big of an accuracy issue) for a generic range IO Gonna check out Ablative Carapace fully slotted too, makes sense to use DNA siphon as backup heal (not that I will ever need end with Ageless though). So i put a 2pcs Preventative Med in it for the extra sl res and changed the red fortunes in weave and maneuvers for LotG for better set bonuses while still hitting the sl res cap. I also added an extra slot from health to Gloom for an extra proc there too. Great build and my thanks for the help making this character ! 17. Hi guys, I've been gone a while and just back in game and starting to make builds again and I am kind of stumped on this one. Been trying to make a Bio/IM build that has def caps while in Offensive Adaptation. I kind of got there, all my defs are 44%+ which is good enough for me but doing so I'm very far off on my perma hasten ! I'm thinking I might just roll with it this way and see how it goes but if you guys have a better solution to this conundrum please do tell ! 18. I have recently fallen madly in love with Ice Melee, I made a IM/Shield Scrapper, and IM/Rad Stalker and I'm about to start a Bio/IM Tanker. Frost is just such an amazingly amazing skill I just can't get enough of it and I can't wait to see how it goes with the enhanced range that Tanks get on their AoE powers !!! I also had a ton of fun playing a Dark/Dark/Fire Tanker.
  19. I made this build for my buddy who has very little interest in farming and doesn't want to invest a ton of inf into this kind of character. Yes I know, you gotta spend money to make money but he is totally uninterested in spending more time than absolutely necessary to get his farmer up an running. The goal is to farm a bit of gold and to power level alts. I made this build for him without any ATOs or purple/winter sets to keep the price as low as possible. I almost made it to fire def cap, it is very close at 44.53% but not quite. However it is manageable to keep a purple inspiration up during the farm to keep to above 45%. All you need to do is go see the P2W vendor in Atlas Park/Pocket D and turn off all inspirations except red and purple and you shouldn't have any problems. The attacks that are used in this build are the usual Ball Lightning, Electrifying Fences, Burn and Throw Spines. Hope this is useful for somebody looking to get into the farm game for cheap !! 20. Titan Weapon no questions asked. Seeing Arc of Destruction crit 10 targets will swear you off all other sets. Put the Crit proc chance ATO in Titan Sweep and use that as your opener followed by Whirling Smash and AoD for the massive damage
  21. Not so, Corrupter is the best of both worlds, the healthy balance. I have found 2 schools of thought when it comes to playing CoH. One is to play your character through TFs, Paper/Radio missions and story arcs. The second school of thought is to powerlevel to 50 in AE and start from there. Playing a Corrupter is so much more enjoyable if you play your character through the content because you get your attacks from your primary set much faster. in addition to having the support powers (most support sets are front loaded) to support your team through the content. If you regularly powerlevel to 50 in AE you will likely not see the benefits of playing a corr since once you are 50 you are just trading a few % of damage for a few % of buff/debuff potential
  22. If this is a dedicated farmer then here are a few things that could change on your build to farm better: Energy Mastery is not needed with Bio Armor, you have DNA Siphon that comes back every 30s and if you really need it, Efficient Adaptation that can be toggled when DNA is still on CD and you are struggling and Ageless. Super Jump is also not really needed in a world of P2W Jetpacks, Ninja Run and Mission Teleporters. S/L resists need to be at 90% and def at 45% Having removed SJ and the EM pool, I added Mu Mastery to the mix to get 2 additional great AoE powers: Electrifying Fences and Ball Lightning. These 2 powers are all stars in farm maps, they come back quickly and deal great damage. I also added Parasitic Aura as an emergency button. Hasten is a lot closer to perma at 127 secs now (Don't forget to upgrade the IOs in Hasten to +5) You went way overboard on the Def for a farmer you don't need anything over 45%. Also removed several 3 piece LotG bonuses since +HP isn't needed also here. S/L resists are near capped now (They will be capped with Reactive Defenses Unique at 80% HP) and Def is at 45%. The extra slots were needed to slot up Ball Lightning and Electrifying Fences. Hope this helps ! 23. I dont even take that power on my SR characters. I really really hate powers that have a crash on them, I find them all to be completely unplayable.
  24. I don't have a problem with Quantum enemies existing in their current state. What I DO have a problem with is them spawning in missions where the enemies are friendly and you aren't supposed to attack, random spawns are quantums and proceed to shoot you with their laser guns. NOW THAT IS IMMERSION BREAKING I did the Skulls story arc the other day with friends and we barely survived the mission where we have to infiltrate a skulls hideout disguised as skulls with the crappy powerset. Normally this is a trivial in and out mission where you talk to people and do a little arena fight. Not so easy when a stupid quantum randomly spawns in the mission and starts shooting you through your disguise. For this reason alone I am on the "get rid of quantum asap" team
