  1. I did this recently with a Dark/Dark Tanker it is very good. I will post my build here however you will have to change it up a bit because of the ATOs but they are similar enough that it wouldn't be too hard to make them fit. But seriously Dark Melee on tankers is amazing, the increased range and target cap you get on Shadow Maul and Touch of Fear is nothing to laugh at.   3. Here is my take on this build. Full disclaimer, I've never played Ice Melee so I'm not sure if there are powers that are normally skipped in the set This is a pretty budget friendly build, the only expensive parts are the ATOs, Gladiator, Shield Wall, Panacea and the Luck of the Gambler pieces the rest should be very manageable.   4. Dark/Dark is my new fav since the changes to DM a few weeks ago. Don't even have the last 3 powers in Dark Armor (the CC toggles and self rez) anymore since I respeced it for Touch of Fear and Fold Space but those 2 powers are just so much fun

  6. @WarK Look into running the Summer Blockbuster Event. it is available starting at level 15 and rewards 1 piece of the Overwhelming Force set. It is decent enough and can slot into any +damage power. The mission is fairly easy to do, can be repeated at will and the pieces can also be sold at the AH for around 10mill each iirc
  7. Sorry if it came out harshly, It wasn't intended to bash you or the work you have done on this bind setup. They were just my honest observations and reasons as to why this would never work for me
  8. Here are my honest abservations. After looking at these controls, I could never really get used to something like this, not only would I need to have the reference chart in front of me for a while (which is annoying) and there is some prime keyboard real estate dedicated to commands that are non useful in combat, notably F, Q and G which I use to bind powers I use in combat. Q= Cancel Autorun: I can just use a movement key to cancel autorun F = Follow: Unless I'm going AFK and i want to keep up in missions that have a lot of ambushes (notably ITF) I can just manually right click on the player I want to follow. Personally this happens so infrequently that I wouldn't need a dedicated bind for this, especially not on a key that is useful for combat binds G = Grapple: Don't even know what this is, i guess it's like follow but for a much closer range, again I would never use this and having it on a prime keyboard location isn't necessary T/Tab= Target Near: Pretty much every MMO in existance uses Tab for this and it would be weird to change it to something else, especially to replace it to toggle UI which is rarely used except to take screenshots, Again, prime keyboard space used for something not combat related, not only non combat related but for a function that will significantly hinder your combat ability when toggled One thing that I do like are the F1-F5 to eat inspirations but even then again, I would need to have a cheat sheet in front of me to remember which does what. I would only really use F1 and F2 for this for Red and Green insps
  9. Once built up properly Dark Armor is SOLID. Mine caps almost all of the resists in addition to capping Smash, Lethal and Melee defences. Combined with the giant heal that comes back super fast it is very hard to put down a Dark/ Tanker
  10. Power pick orders in builds like these are highly subjective. You can just pick your powers at whatever level you want when they are first available and it will change absolutely nothing in the end. Looking at this build for example, if I were to follow it I would pick Weave WAY earlier so that I can actually use it while leveling up. Looking at Energy Transfer specifically in this build and... well ET is the T9 power for Tanker Energy Melee and you can only pick it at level 38 at earliest. It was changed from T8 to T9 in the last patch. It also has a Travel power with Mighty Leap
  11. Yeah Fireball, Ball Lightning and Dark Obliteration are pretty much interchangeable. I went fire on mine because it hits a bit harder (~18% harder) and just tinted it black. Though DO has less power requirements so that frees up a slot and you can pick up Taunt which can be useful sometimes to bring ranged enemies into melee. Here is what mine looks like for reference.   12. Can't really argue there if that's how you like to play it, just keep in mind that you are pretty much wasting 3 power picks for nothing. Focused accuracy's end drain is covered by Superior Conditionning and Physical Perfection. So if you didn't have that 0.48end/sec drain in your build that isn't doing much anyways you probably wouldn't need the other 2 powers to feed it, letting you use a EPP that will up your damage output like Fireball or Ball Lightning so you can then replace Dark Regen in your AoE chain with one of those and only use Dark Regen when needed. Even slotted for damage like you have it, Dark Regen barely does 25% of the damage Fireball or Ball Lightning does. Your build would be fairly easy to modify to incorporate one of these 2 into them and if you get Armageddon in there you can even get the 15% accuracy set bonus. Focused accuracy gives 20% and takes 2 other powers to keep up VS a 15% bonus in an enhancement set on a power that brings something useful to the table

  15. That "small" recovery buff is 50% and it's the largest in the game. Try toggling it off and see what happens to your endo bar. This is what most people would value the most with this type of Blaster power. Also like Frostbiter mentioned, it's still there, they just disabled by default the green floaties
  16. I respeced my tanker last night to try out touch of fear and I really like it. It in addition to Fireball make for a really nice AoE chain. Start out with Soul Drain then I can spam ToF, SM and Fireball pretty much non stop. I use Dark Consumption when needed and only ever use Dark Regen when I get low on HP (which is very rarely) I really doubt you need Focused Accuracy that much you have a bunch of purple sets with +15% accuracy and a sprinkling of other accuracy set bonuses. It's most likely overkill. As for Global Recharge, typically the goal is to get perma hasten and stop stacking it after that. On your incarnate build you are 30 seconds over the perma hasten threshold so it's safe to assume that you can back off some global recharge
  17. Only problem I can see with this build is that it has way too much accuracy, Tactics, Focused Accuracy in addition to the Hecatomb, Armageddon and touch of the nictus set bonuses is overkill. I will usually just use Tactics if I am making a budget build that doesn't have the purple sets with +15% Acc and will rarely if ever even have to think that accuracy is a thing in this game Focused Accuracy is a massive endurance drain for little gain in the end. Here is how I would change it while keeping your power pool choices: Dropped Tactics for Assault Removed Focused Accuracy for Conserve Power. Focused Accuracy, IMO shouldn't be used at all it's too expensive for what little gain it gives, CP, while not especially useful is at least situationally useful when fighting Freakshow and Malta or other such enemies that drain endurance Added a slot to Dark Embrace to get the 2pcs set bonus for Steadfast Protection +end regen and removed a KB prot from Maneuvers to stay at 12 Added 2 slots to Tough to get more S/L Def with 4pcs Unbreakable Guard set bonus Dropped Kismet from Maneuvers and changed Red Fortune io in it to LotG to get the set bonus (same def/end type IO) Changed Red Fortune in Cloak of Darkness for LotG set bonuses (same IO types def and def/end) Added last remaining slot to Fire Sword Circle for Fury of the Gladiator -res proc Hero Plan by Mids' Reborn : Hero Designer 2.7.2.10 https://github.com/Crytilis/mids-reborn-hero-designer Click this DataLink to open the build! So I did the thing, dropped Soul Transfer, dropped the procs from everything except Shadow Maul and 5 slotted Touch of Fear with Armageddon and holy crap this is just what was missing from Dark Melee ! Now between Soul Drain, Fireball, Shadow Maul and Touch of Fear I can just spam AoE powers until the cows come home. Really liking this new power

  20. Those are IMO the most boring sets to play. Gravity isn't bad at all but you really chose the bottom of the barrel to base your opinions on. It's like saying Masterminds are trash tier but you only played Mercs and Ninjas. Have a try at playing Fire, Earth or Plant. What secondary you pair with is also important to the fun factor: Darkness, Nature, Electrical and Time are my picks for best secondaries

  22. Do you really need Energy Mastery as a dark/dark ? I run a Tanker with this combo and I never have end problems, What I did was cut Cloak of Fear and Oppressive Gloom out and the end problems are completely solved. Considering how little work those powers do it's not a huge loss. Mag 2 stun and fear will only ever affect minions anyways. I am interested in knowing how good Touch of Fear is though, my build was before this power got buffed and I am very hesitant to redo my whole set up to incorporate it in. My build has Pyre Mastery for Fireball to use as my go to aoe power to supplement Shadow Maul
  23. Here is my attempt at a budget Spines/Ice build. It is not really optimized though since I didn't use any non ATO purple sets so it doesn't have perma hasten. What I tried to do here is since Spines/Ice is such an endurance heavy pairing was to maximize +end and end recovery sets. Endurance is at 111% add on top of that the 2 endurance Accolades and you will go up to 120% which should make a big difference since it basically makes all your other end recovery things 21% better S/L def is capped but I was unable to cap any resists other than Cold since the set has no other native resists Hope this helps somewhat !   24. Hi team, I've been away from the game for a while and now I'm Back ! I've been toying with this build for a bit, but my build skills are kind of rusty ! I managed in this build to get near perma hasten (0.9 secs off) and Link Minds but my defenses are not especially hot. I think this might just be a /Fire thing and capping out positionals and hasten at the same time is unfeasible. I went with Psi pretty much only for Link Minds to try and get as much Def as possible since there is no +Def toggle in /Fire. If anybody has any insights into how to make this better, please share !   25. That's interesting to have on the newer boards. My Asus ROG Strix X470 only has the one M.2 Slot with full PCI-e 4x coverage. The other slot PCI-E x2, I ended up not even using the PCI-e mode on my second slot and opted for a much cheaper SATA drive that has a m.2 form factor for that drive while my main x4 SSD is a Samsung 960 Evo. Will be something to consider in the future when I eventually change my computer.
