  1. Hey @JSIX I can help you with that. You unlock it by running a patron arc in Grandville. I recommend doing Black Scorpion on -1/x1 just so it goes quickly. Try sending a message in Help or LFG to see if anyone on everlasting can run it for you. If not, I can move a character over to Everlasting and show you how it's done.
  2. I took your build to see what else I could squeeze out of it. I was able to get S/L/E/N to 75% (you already had Fire easily to that mark). Also buffed up the Toxic and Psi resistance a little bit. When RoP is on, you will be capped at Cold and Psi, with Toxic being really close at 72%. I also removed Assault and Cremate for Build Up and Energy Torrent. Below I'll share a screenshot of the tweaks as well as a comparison of the totals. EDIT: I didn't realize the toxic resistance in healing flames stacks, so you can easily get Toxic resistance to 75% as well. Previous / New The build: Edit 2: One more build where it now has 65% cold resistance, but a tiny drop in recharge.
  3. And lose fold space? That would be pricey. I'd rather live with Athletic Run
  4. I am less concerned over the DPS loss that I am over the lost recharge buff. You can totally do the swap, but just know it's gonna impact more than the dps from the attack - it hits the chain as a whole.
  5. Tank/Troller - the Control/Defense build (Note: Ignore the power unlock levels. This was built randomly in Mids, and I didn't go back to reorder the power selections) I haven't kicked the creativity bug just yet. I wanted to design something a bit different, sort of an unrepresented class - a Control/Armor AT. Yes, this is a tanktroller, yes, that is unoriginal - but still, I wanted to see what I could design for a Fortunata that comes with many control powers. My goal was to have a path to Mag 5 mezzes everywhere, even if it's in the form of a 1-2 combo. So what did I do? I took ST powers that do either a Hold, Stun, Confuse, or Fear. I took AoE powers that do either a Hold, Stun, Confuse, or Fear. On top of that, I added procs that do Hold, Stun, Confuse, or Fear. Why? Because I love overkill... even if it doesn't help me kill. On top of that, I wanted lots of survivability and a taunt so I could act like a tank while not being a tank. Presence pool, yes please. Siren's Control: Tank-Troller Build (added 6/9/2023) Highlights: 68.8% Melee, 66.4% Range, 53.9% AoE Defense 187.5% Global Recharge (perma-Hasten, perma-Mind Link) Team Support: 27.5% Def, 5% To-Hit, 30% Psi Res +2.93 end/sec net recovery Presence Pool (Provoke and Unrelenting for Tank-y, Intimidate and Invoke Panic for Troll-y) The highlights, combining this much defense and control should ensure plenty of survivability. AoE is limited (that's what your friends are for), but in a pinch you can still do a nice ST attack chain with Follow Up, Lunge, Dominate (proc'd out), and Strike. As for lowlights, again the AoE is limited (I slotted Psychic Wail for stun - oh the humanity!) and there is little resistance in the build. Alright, let's move on to the mezz combos. Fear: Invoke Panic (20' radius, 16.9s Mag 3) Intimidate (ST, 16.9s Mag 3, with 30% chance for Mag 4) 90% Chance for Fear proc in Psychic Wail (25' radius, 10s Mag 2). Stun: Psychic Wail (25' radius, 28.2s Mag 3) Scramble Thoughts (ST, 23.7s Mag 4) 63% Chance for Stun proc in Invoke Panic (20' radius, 8s Mag 2) 90% Chance for Stun proc in Intimidate (ST, 8s Mag 2) Note, it may seem redundant to have both Invoke Panic and Psychic Wail each stack Fear/Stun via their effects/procs. However, it's best to think of it as added reliability. The chance for both procs failing is low. Chance for at least one stack of mez = 1 - (1 - 0.63)(1 - 0.9) = 96.3%. Sure, you can ditch the stun procs and still achieve a 90% success rate, but I like cutting my failure rate to almost a third of that. Confuse: Aura of Confusion (25' radius, 57.35s Mag 3) 30% Chance for Contagious Confusion if foe is confused. Confuse (ST, 48.35s Mag 3) Hold: Total Domination (20' radius, 20.6s Mag 3) 90% Chance for 8s Mag 2 (Lockdown) Dominate (ST, 22.7s Mag 3) Given the high recharge of this build, there will almost never be a situation where you can't hold everything in an area below an Elite Boss. Invoke Panic + Psychic Wail gives you a 96.3% chance at Mag 5 Stun and/or Fear. Total Domination is a 90% chance for Mag 5 Hold. Aura of Confusion + Contagious Confusion has a path towards Mag 5 Confuse (although, given how Contagious proc works, I recommend opening with Confuse on a hard target before dropping AoC. On the Tank-y side of the house, we have provoke helping us pick off foes who escaped the mezz and direct them our way, instead of at our teammates. With a sub-3s cooldown and 18s taunt duration, there should be enough there to protect your team from falling. As for Unrelenting, it is on a 150s cooldown which gives you roughly a 20% uptime to enjoy a slight recharge/recovery buff as well as regain more than your full health over 30s. All that being said, you don't have to go this hard on control if you don't want to. Feel free to swap the Purple Stun set in Psychic Wail to Armageddon. Feel free to replace Scramble Thoughts with Gloom or Psionic Tornado. I build this for theme and liked where it ended, but for realistic game play you are welcome to tweak things however you like. 6. Rage countering damage debuff from granite. And Granite offers so much defense and resistance, the Rage crash is unnoticeable.
  7. 115% Melee Defense Felt like having a little fun, building for as much melee defense as possible. Why? Why NOT!? It's not a build I'll make, not one I'll play, just an exercise in seeing what limits could be reached while still being mostly playable. By "playable" I mean high enough accuracy to hit +4s (which Follow Up helps allow, and is why I took CT Offensive), also it means to keep Mind Link perma (or very close to it), and have a net Endurance recovery of more than 2.0 per second. Without further ado, here is my Night Widow with its silly 115% melee defense. Also, the build has 100% resistance to slows and 55% S/L resistance before Rune of Protection. View This Build In MRB
  8. Ohh...your bug report is about the Damage Per Second Calculator? We don't support that. That was an old Beta feature that was not developed by the current team. Edit: Just found a reply from Zed about this topic. He states the DPS calculator is busted and will remove it as a feature.
  9. Do you have screen shots of slotting procs before and after? I don't see the issue, but if I can see your numbers maybe I can guess at why you are seeing what you're seeing.
  10. I may have found the build here: https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/37390-page-5-farming-microguide-maps-builds/page/5/#comment-539324 I loaded the .mxd file into my Mids (v3.5.5, HC DBVersions 2023.5.522). I am having no issues with the damage numbers being shown. I have also saved the file as a new .mbd file and reopened the build. Still works. I'll address the bug report directly, now: Storm Kick is slotted with the +Res(All) Tanker ATO Proc. So if you're seeing Resistance bonuses, that's why. I tested perfect zinger, removing the proc and re-adding it. In all cases, the damage would go up when the proc was in and down when the proc was out. So that's working as expected. Without knowing how your Mids is configured, all I can go off of is the powers, procs, and toggles. My attempts to show anything not behaving normally has proven fruitless. Given your report, it would appear the problem would be glaringly obvious, but I'm not seeing it with mine.
  11. Do you have the file? Or a link to the file? Your bug report states its a build provided by America's Angel, and states that it's an mbd file (so new format), but there's not enough info there to tell me how to get it. I did some searches but have not seen an mbd file, yet.
  12. Yours does sound borked, but I'll ask the standard troubleshooting questions anyways. Is Rest toggled on? Did you select the Homecoming database, or are you using generic? What version of Mids are you using? Feel free to share the build here and we can see what's going on.
  13. @crimson72 @FourSpeed I had an older version of Mids, so I'll drop what I can here for preservation. L40 Budget Farmer.mxdL40 Budget Farmer.mbd L50 Budget Farmer.mxdL50 Budget Farmer.mbd
  14. Crazy 88s: The 88% Defense(All) build Been playing around with builds some more, so I'll share this one as well. It's a bit of a dumb-dumb build. Nonetheless, I wanted to see what I could achieve in the way of positional defenses on a Night Widow. So I set off with a goal of pushing as much defense as I could while still maintaining perma-Mind Link (I could have gone with higher defenses by skipping Hasten, but Mind Link would've had a 6s downtime). The end result, 88%+ defense to all positional defenses. Threw in 51% resistance to S/L while I was at it. Obviously, a build like this will have damage limitations as it does not try to maximize recharge nor maximize proc usage. I went with a lot of Mako's so there is 1 proc in most attacks, but that's it. Also, I skipped Follow Up in favor of Build Up for this reason. I felt I was better off going with burst, so having Gaussian + Build Up every 35s will help me with a Lunge-Gloom-Strike-Slash type of ST burst. Also nice to use BU while hidden for the initial crit. Anyways, I droned on long enough. Here it is. Oh yeah, also chased 100% slow resistance...just because. View This Build In MRB

  16. I doubt there were ulterior motives. Folks had holiday plans, so the post was made 1am PST on Saturday, and a ping wasn't made. I think on Monday or Tuesday a ping went out on Discord, I don't know about in game, though, I was BBQing.
  17. I'm curious, do we have data that compares ping times? For example, any European players able to test on Reunion versus Torchbearer (similar population size)?
  18. Anytime. Widows are my favorite AT to build. I'm working on something now that has over 90% Melee and AoE defense. Sadly Range only hits 83%. More of a controller than damager, so I doubt folks will be interested.
  19. Love the concept. I also came here to state you should use Intuition Radial for the range buff (and whatever else it enhances). The enhanced range will not affect procs.
  20. Definitely not the same as Hurdle. Hurdle is rather strong, comparably speaking, as it offers up 50% of what Super Leap gives you. Swift gives you only 10% of what Fly and Super Speed offer. If something like that were to be added, it would probably have to be closer to 10% jump speed, which would still be a nice boost to the power.
  21. Right, that's what I was saying. The MIDS file is a json file, so it's human readable if you like, or you can open it up in MIDS to view and edit. There is some work being done by Metalios to improve the pdf print, but that's TBD.
  22. Keep in mind, the new .mbd file format is a JSON file. You can open it up in anything that reads JSON (like Firefox). It will be a bit hefty...but all the info you could want from an export will be there. Here's an example of what it looked like when I open a file in firefox. You'll be able to see every power when it was selected. Every slot in that power, including the slotted IO, what level the slot was unlocked, and if there are any boosts to the IO. Also can see if the power is toggled on and if a proc is toggled on.
  23. No, with the modernization of the code/program, the method used to create those chunks are now obsolete.
  24. I was speaking to the borked slotting, not the updater.
