I don't remember if CoH offers a "Arch-Enemy" system? 

 

Like... You design a Hero/Vilain to become your "worst enemy" that the AI controls in certain mission arcs ?

 

Was that in another game?  Champions Online perhaps?

You could do that in Champions Online.

i think i remember when Cryptic was the studio behind COH they thought about something like that but never released it on COH instead they made the addon COV and used the idea later in CO

There is also a story arc where you have to do battle and defeat clones of yourself.

For every Blue side alt I create, I also roll their mortal enemy on Red side.

AE is only your really best bet here.  Especially if you want your "Arch Enemy" to be one of your own alts.

 

Yes, I'm one of those "Must have one of everything / there must be balance", so for every Hero I create, I create a corresponding Villain. They're not always mirror images or exact opposites, but I keep them balanced X many of each archtype for red and blue, approximately equal numbers of male and female, approximately equal distribution of origins, etc.  and I have a mental headcanon of how a "Final Confrontation" would play out and who would defeat who in a giant Battle Royale.

 

The OCD is very real, sometimes.

I do exactly the same thing.  I create my characters in twos.

That’s how my original villains came to be, long before we could switch sides.

My main is a Blaster named Plyx ,he has an evil doppelganger Corrupter named xylP. 

 

I thought how fun it would to "tag" one as the other's arch-nemesis. The Arch would randomly spawn in others missions to fight. But would leave before being completely defeated.

Could make some mechanic or situation where the Arch can be defeated.

 

Think of the badges....

you have stopped your arch-nemesis X amount of times,

you have never been stopped by your arch-nemesis,

you have defeated your arch-nemesis

etc.

My Arch Enemies on Live early on were "Major Lag" and "the Map Server". Both Ruthless and Heartless Villains out to destroy my world.

 

Later on it became "Giant Buckhorn" and "Green Green Grass", they were relentless, and sometimes included "Leaky Pipes" and "Fresh Paint" in their Schemes.

 

Since, Homecoming, the Inevitable and Invincible "Time" has become my only True Nemesis, constantly thwarting my best laid plans.

Currently my parents are my nemesis.  They live 5 miles away and I am the go-to person for all things.  Grocery pick up, gardening assistance, trash removal.  But my play-time!  Yeah, its gone.

 

But my son drank my vodka so he is climbing the list.

Same:  Rathstar's arch-enemy is Wrathstar, an alternate version from a parallel universe.  Of course he has a van dyke goatee and a facial scar, as required by evil-twin law.  OG Rathstar versus OG Wrathstar, below.

Nemesis is generally my nemesis.  I try to fight him as an AV on all my alts that I think can handle it.  Nemesis, Nemesis Rex, Nemesis?, it's all good.  I just wish I didn't hate jaegers so much.
