I can't believe I got that name!

I was surprised to get Shave Ice on Torch.  Not so surprised to find Shaved Ice taken

So I was thinking about moving my Ice/Water corr from Indom to Excel, but unfortunately his name, Chill Streak, was taken. So I tried a few names and held onto the ones I liked. I'll probably release the ones I don't use once I decide on the name and actually move him.

 

Names I got were:

 

Thrill Chill

Cold Blooded Chiller

Icewater Veins

 

Also while trying names I also got Time Chiller and Chilling Moon, so I'm starting a new Ice/Temporal Blaster and Dark/Ice Sentinel.

 

I have too many alts, I need to stop playing with the character creator.

Nega-Hertz (Elec/Dark Tank)/(Dark/Elec Sentinel)/(Dark/Rad Brute)-Torch/Ever/Excel respectively

Fro-gun (A Rifle/Ice Blaster)

Major Havoc (Elec/Ice Blaster)

Major Onslaught (Mace/Shield Brute)

Quantum Density (Axe/Rad Brute)

Sonic Flaer (Ill/Sonic Controller) (the last name is per background fluff which is almost as much fun to write as making the toon)

I got "Breakwater" on Everlasting after Marine came out, I was pretty pleased with that.

 

I tried a few names before that, and ending up releasing "Sea Worthy" on the Everlasting "Drop a name, pick up a name" thread.  I was happy to see someone decide to use it just recently.

Sorry to hear that. I was only looking to nab 1 name on Torch and happened to get it. Now I'm just going to hang out in Outbreak and watch all the new character pop in and out.

I managed to correct the names of some toons that I'd played extensively on Live and had recreated on Reunion:

+ Coulomb (previously "CouIomb" with a capital i in place of the L)
+ Ripstar (previously "Ripstar II")
+ Mighty Quinn (previously "Might E. Quinn")
+ Purple Lightning (previously "PurpleLightning")

Unfortunately "Unit Omega" and "Tejas" still weren't available; so those two are still sporting a few extra punctuation marks for now... but 66.7% success rate ain't bad! 👍

What kills me is, one of the names is even spelled incorrectly.  Condore was a character from my youth, when I made comics, but clearly didn't yet know how to spell.

 

The one that continues to sting is the Canadian Shield, which was my main, more or less, back on the live servers.
