Papaschtroumpf Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 Is there a way to tell Mids/Pine's to not take alpha into account without setting the alpha to none? I don't see a toggle
zarzu Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 When you add an alpha it shows up as a power at the bottom (below stamina etc) and it lets you toggle it there.
Murcielago Posted June 18, 2019 Author Posted June 18, 2019 Thanks :) it's the agility alpha ;) Ooooo yeah that makes sense.

Murcielago Posted June 25, 2019 Author Posted June 25, 2019 Anyone have any advice on increasing DDR? Best I can get to is ~72%.
zarzu Posted June 26, 2019 Posted June 26, 2019 Only way I am aware of is to get Radial Ageless Epiphany, will get you permanently to 92% which is nearly the hard cap.
Murcielago Posted June 26, 2019 Author Posted June 26, 2019 Only way I am aware of is to get Radial Ageless Epiphany, will get you permanently to 92% which is nearly the hard cap. For some odd reason I recall being able to hit it without any incarnate powers. Must be remembering wrong.
zarzu Posted June 26, 2019 Posted June 26, 2019 HOs used to be able to boost the ddr on at least some of the shield powers, but they patched that out at some point.

Murcielago Posted June 30, 2019 Author Posted June 30, 2019 My current build way too much energy for my liking. In extended fights I'm having to really rely on Dark Consumption and if I don't have a few blues I start getting nervous so I think I'm going to change my playstyle and not run some toggles or drastically overhaul my build.
Riverdusk Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 My current build way too much energy for my liking. In extended fights I'm having to really rely on Dark Consumption and if I don't have a few blues I start getting nervous so I think I'm going to change my playstyle and not run some toggles or drastically overhaul my build. One thing I was thinking of for that issue is putting a theft of essence +end into siphon life. Anyone try this and how much does it help? Checking it more closely it is a 3.5PPM, and on testing it, it gives you 10% endurance per activation, so assuming it actually triggered that often, even with base 100 stamina, it'd give you on average 35 end a minute, or average a .58 end/sec recovery, which is extremely nice. With some endurance bonuses from IO sets or accolades, even better as you could probably get it up closer to giving you 12 endurance per activation. All assuming you fire it off as often as possible, but it is part of the best attack chain anyway. Would just need to sacrifice a slot in the power of course, but if you are having end issues, I'd say it should help a lot.
Murcielago Posted July 19, 2019 Author Posted July 19, 2019 Since I solo a lot of TFs I am making a second build designed to be able to soft cap down to L21 and have an OK attack chain with some more AoE. My other build will be made for Incarnate level content so that's why this build does not include the alpha slot because it will be only used when exemplaring. It's not min/maxed but it's my starting point. Hero Plan by Hero Hero Designer 2.23 https://github.com/ImaginaryDevelopment/imaginary-hero-designer Click this DataLink to open the build! Constantine Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 You should probably move the Gladiator's Armor +3% to OwtS and use the extra slot for another proc in Smite. Also, if you're planning to exemplar a lot, moving critical strikes to an earlier power might be a good idea. SL would probably be the ideal place for it, but if you put Mako's in MG, you probably won't have enough recharge in it to run S-Sl-S-MG chain. Maybe put Mako's in Smite and Hecatomb in MG? With the PPM mechanic it shouldn't make too much of a difference once you have access to all 3, and having an early access to CRITICAL STRIKES would likely give you more DPS in the lower levels than having a Hecatomb proc over Mako's in Smite. Either way you should try it out yourself and see what works best. Speaking of attack chains, Hasten is way too high up. I'd swap it with grant cover. Lower level enemies don't have too many strong defense debuffs anyway, and even if you run into ones that do, you can usually negate it by popping a couple purple insps. There are however no isnps to boost your recharge. Finally, I think that Preventive Medicine will be slightly better than Numina's in True Grit as you don't need to rely on +regen bonuses as much when you have Siphon Life. But the difference is pretty marginal. Other than that, the build looks very good and really fun as well. My main scrapper on live was a DM/Shield as well and now I really want to play him again! Murcielago Posted August 28, 2019 Author Posted August 28, 2019 It's been four months and no new build??? Decided to come up with a +5 enhancement build but my laptop won't let me hit +5 on my enhancements so I can't share it. Also thinking about making a LoLPvP third build. Any suggestions because I haven't the foggiest how PvP works anymore.
Eva Destruction Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 So what are y'all doing for Incarnate powers on your DM/SDs? Especially Destiny and Hybrid. Does the bonus damage from the Radial Assault Hybrid ignore the damage cap?

Does the bonus damage from the Radial Assault Hybrid ignore the damage cap? Destiny I'd choose whatever your build needs the most, I use it to plug holes. That being said, the one that offers recharge and recovery is my overwhelming pick. Radial assault does indeed ignore damage cap since it's a proc. But unless you find yourself at or near the damage cap a lot, Core is generally the better pick for Scrappers because of their higher base damage. The Trevor Project
Andferne Posted October 16, 2019 Posted October 16, 2019 @Murcielago Did you finish up everything for your builds? The world still needs Heroes
Murcielago Posted October 17, 2019 Author Posted October 17, 2019 Nope lol just haven't gotten around to them. I am currently in the process of making my incarnate build all +5 enhancements so that's taking a while and a lot of INF lol. My next project is how to include force of will in the build so I can get new flavor foot stomp.
