Not to be a debbie downer, but these need a vendor price.  There is little to no demand for them (even on Everlasting, where you'd think mini pets would be all the rage).  And I can't stand them just floating around on a toon.

Please let us vendor them for 2k or something.

So… sell them on the market? Not seeing the issue here.

There is literally no one bidding on the market.  Which is why they should be vendor-able.

Fair enough then

Lower the price and demand will increase.

I don't think you understand.  The things have 0 bidders.  Not "a few holding out for cheaper prices".  0.

Search them on the AH, since the AH is linked across all the servers.  Listing them for 500 (not 500,000.  500) influence still wouldn't sell them.  Which is why they need a vendor sell price.

Well, I think the amount that are on the market are suddenly going to drop a lot...

Maybe if players posted them on the AH for that amount instead of the 4,000,000 I see them listed as, players would be willing to buy them from the AH. Sally for instance, on Everlasting, has 50 on the AH, 54 bidding to get her, and the last 5 sale prices are 2,500,000 - 4,444,444. So they are selling on the AH.

Edit: Lusca has 100 bidders for 4 items with sale prices of 5,000,000 - 20,000,000. That is a bit pricey for a vanity pet.

Edit again: And yes, if anyone is wondering, I went to see if I could buy them for 100,000, gaped at how much people are paying, and decided otherwise.

I confess that I never see them listed, myself.  And I have looked several times.

So, I just found a bunch on the /AH last night, thereby making a liar of myself.  Embarassing.  😝

My hot take on the Market House and mini-pet recipes: There are some Giant Monsters that are more commonly fought than others. For example, Jack in Irons and Eochai. I can't imagine a sustained demand for either of those recipes. Scrapyard is practically a summonable-on-demand, so that recipe probably will never require much bidding action. Making them vendorable is a reasonable addition.

And some are inherently less valuable than others. Take the Hamidon Bud pet recipe; that averages a cost of around 10,000,000 inf to craft, because its recipe requires 20 Hamidon Goo salvage. It might be amusing to have a Hamidon Bud trailing around behind you through Paragon City or the Rogue Isles, but it's not 10M inf amusing.

How did I miss this in the notes? I really do need to slow down and read everything.

the trash value does not matter, reduce the cost to make it, 2.5 mil is way too much, most recipe are dropping so much that they do not sell on the AH . they are so common now that they are not worth 10k yet alone being trashed at 100 k.

I don't understand the issue here. I've had two recipe drops total and I hunt the things all the time. The day after they "fixed" the drop rate was when I got my second recipe drop and that was it. Weeks later, nothing. So what's the issue when recipes don't drop?

RNG decided to roll higher than 10%.

Either way, it's a non-issue. Hardly anyone is getting them.

I got a Caleb and Eochai Mini Pet Recipe today. No farming, just regular GM hunting. The guy on my team, (there was two of us) actually both got a Caleb drop off the same GM defeat. So, I confirmed the fix worked.

Oh well. Maybe the game knows I don't want them because since the rate fix was fixed, I've been on at least 30 hunts. Maybe I just suck.
