Super Sand Witch - Honestly, I should have made one of her powersets fire, so she could ask if you wanted fries with that. (Dark armor, colored as sand, plus water blast.) Hellion Keller - Blind former gang member. Hot Purrsuit - yes, she was a cop where she came from. And the newest... Devilsewn. (Bet you didn't know some demons had a thing for needlework...) Edit - Nearly forgot one of my favourites - Emily Post Mortem. Trying to help others understand that there are respectful and polite ways to interact with the dead, and some that are just *rude.*

The Architect is a little confusing, yes. And a little buggy. And sometimes surprising. Coloring text - highlight the text, right click. All in a menu. (As well as bold, italic, etc.) Also, as far as bosses (or anything else) and where they appear - some maps, as I recall, don't actually *have* a front/middle/back, even though you can pick them. Outdoor ones are notorious for this. Way, way, waaaaay back in the day (like when AE launched) I created a series of guides for it.They're likely woefully out of date now but the basics should still hold up. You should also look at the pinned tips and tricks bit in this forum.

Eh. If people are, for whatever reason, worried about putting it in the P2W vendor, how about a macro-able command. /clearsalvage *type* /clearsalvage common clears the white, /clearsalvage invention clears all invention salvage, /clearsalvage incarnate clears incarnate salvage, etc. /clearsalvage on its own does nothing but give a help text in chat. I'd think: /clearsalvage - parameters common, uncommon, rare, invention, incarnate, special, event, legacy, all ... no, I don't know who would use "clearsalvage all" and nuke all their salvage, merits, incarnate stuff, etc. but hey, it's there. Don't forget the warning this is not reversable and GMs cannot help recover salvage. Similarly, /sellsalvage (type/name) amount price, so /sellsalvage boresight all 10 lists all boresights at 10 inf. /sellsalvage common all 1 just dumps all common salvage at 1 inf.

Two things on that - first, the filter as it is is pretty goofy, as I recall. (I tend to turn it off. Not least because of odd choices for what was or was not in it.) Second... I don't think I've seen anyone get in trouble for circumventing it. Maybe as part of a larger overall issue with someone's behaviour. Eh. I'd be fine with "it can read this external text file and add it to the filter." I just think the people adding things would find it ... pretty quickly useless as people come up with new and exciting ways to say the same thing. (Not to mention that people come up with ... creative spellings, even if they don't mean to.)

I honestly don't think we can ever "run out of salvage" unless everyone but one person leaves, they buy all of it, vendor it, and never play anything again. Salvage is continuously generated. Just play the game, hit things. Play AE, get tickets, get salvage of the rarity you want there for tickets. Lift a rock, get salvage.

You should be reaching out to the GMs here in PMs if there's an issue, generally.

There are times to actually bring attention to issues like this. If we had, say, Back Alley Brawler speaking completely in ebonics and eating watermelon or chicken, that would be something to protest. Do you also refuse to train at Valkyrie in Steel Canyon because she's not 100% culturally accurate? Or skip anything with Scirocco because he's not Arab enough? Do you go around petitioning and making noise about people in game who aren't representing what you think their characters should be, if they even touch on anything mythical or historic? I'm also looking forward to seeing if you reply to Ashington's question in any serious way. You, OP, are talking about a fictional people in a *comic book based* game. There are times to take things seriously. This is not it. This is so far from it that the light from "it" will hit this issue in a billion years or so. This is so far from it, it takes away from the things that actually *do* need to be taken seriously.

Coyotedancer has it exactly right. All you'd hear is council farm, demon farm, etc. just like in the old days. The only difference is that lowbies wouldn't have to swim around PI and hope they found a mentor. Honestly, I think the "get merits for joining and completing a story arc" idea is worth looking at. We already have the simul-complete option. Expand that so you have the option to start the arc if you're there at the start, too. (Yes, technical limitations, what if you've outleveled, are you locked until you're done, etc. would all need to be answered.) It's one thing if you're helping out on a quick, 10 minute, 3 merit arc - oh well, grab the zone badges and you've made more merits. It's another if you're helping out on one of the larger slog-through arcs. You're putting in the time, you should get some degree of reward.

It's random. I mean, if you did that with "in set conversion," it'd be a short list - the rest of the set. "Same rarity" and "same type?" Huge lists.

Also upgraded with a 500gb SSD for secondary storage. Very easy to take apart, fairly reliable. And as mentioned, 2014 Mac Mini i5, 4Gb RAM (soldered on... *really,* Apple? Eh, it was cheap.) Updated with a 500gb SSD, which made a *huge* (as in "counting in minutes") improvement over the slow spinning drive it had. Yes, I've run COH on it. DIdn't do too badly solo, don't think I'd try an MSR or Hami raid.

Heh. I got that, new, for... what was it, $70 or $90 at launch. Some time later, I ran across them (and the COH collectors edition, which gave you the special cape) for $5 a shot at Big Lots. Picked them up to get the game time and give the codes for the special "stuff" for my friends (like the in game arachnos cape, etc.) I think I have two (unsealed) boxes around in storage still.

EIther I have perfect stealth or I'm the only one who doesn't - I never see anyone else in the zones. 😉 I will add there are sometimes other ways to detect a stalker, if you're *really* paying attention - and in water. Characters still leave ripples. But again... really have to pay attention. Most people don't. I seem to recall the basic stacking was - hide +1 stealth IO +stealth. I *think,* but don't 100% recall, that "grant invisibility" and/or the base item buff would also stack. But those are time limited. (As a side note, I did have people wondering how I could "see" them on occasion on non +per characters. Generally... from standing in the water and being aware of ripples. Stealth doesn't help with that. But most people also don't pay *attention* to things like that.)
