  1. Well, figured I might as well tally these up. One page per... er... page. Mostly heroic. Therra Arcson 50 Elec/Elec Sentinel Remake of first 50 from live, waaaay back in I3. Family has a lineage touched by an entity they just know now as "the lady." Cat Grey 50 Warshade Seems to recall flashes of “something else,” almost deja vu. For now, trying to be a PI, while her Warshade half heals, hides and tries to decide what to do… kind of hard to do with the Kheldians aware and hiring them out for jobs. Ishku 40 Staff/WP Brute Teen. Escapee from a parallel dying world, adopted and fighting for this one with her friends. (Name's from mishearing her adopted brother say "is coo'" - it stuck.) Radiant Bill Rad/SS tank Alt powerset of Memphis. Longbunny Savage/Nin stalker. Ever realize the back of that Longbow outfit kind of looks like a rabbit? Voidbane Peacebringer Absolutely *dedicated* to the eradication of the Nictus. A hunter. Though the attitude’s softened slightly since joining to Diana, here. She actually will accept a warshade at her side. Bit of a hothead. De Lune Dark/Dark Corr Another live remake, though a defender there. It’s amazing what worlds can open up when you look into the right books… Emily Post Mortem Dark/Dark Dom From a family of morticians. Finds some of the things done to the dead just *rude* - they deserve respect, too. Will work with psychopomps. Whispering Wynn Ill/Storm controller Bitter Wraith Ice/Psy dom. (Vig) Former villain (live,) tries to work with those who see themselves as (or are told they are) “freaks” for their abilities. Deep seated issue with Manticore, due to a zealous Wyvern cell killing her fiance’ when trying to put her down, despite having stepped away from the villain life for months at the time.
  2. ... I rather wish we had a working CIT for here...
  3. True, I was just looking at the hostage side of it. Probably after having had one ofthose genius lab assistants from Warburg spend several minutes confused by a ramp. As far as how a mob "knows" it's stuck... I don't know, give it a timer, if it can't move in any direction and is not under a control effect, it gets teleported to a usasble location within... 100 feet? No idea how easy or hard that would be to program. I know I've spent time with an attack queued just slowly moving around one and having it not fire off at all, while it apparently could attack, so that itself isn't a great check. (Reason #782 why I love warshades. Built in TP Foe. 🙂 )
  4. Roleplayers only RPing that they're roleplaying, especially when they're RPing a character who, themselves, RP. *nods* >.>
  5. I'm still working on reaching my old total.
  6. Other ATs do not have specific powers and animations for a non-humanoid form. This is why I would not call it being "shafted." Khelds do, by default, have a human form, after all. There's a limited number of slots you can burn in this form, so you *have* to have *something* available in your human form, even if you're going "nova/dwarf." If Khelds had no option to use the costumes at all, then they would be "shafted." However, we do. So we're not being left out of anything.
  7. On live, winning devs choice. Here, ask a GM. They won't give you hundreds at once, but they will give you a couple. Edit: Honestly, I wish we could just grant them ourselves. P2W vendor, cash in tickets for slots, something.
  8. I doubt it's a bug, given its role in the arc it's meant for (and the very short time you get to have it.) It's more than likely a different sort of "shapeshift," or it has some sort of override. I wouldn't call this being "shafted," in any case.
  9. They do already have a chance to hit, since defense can't be 100%. Some groups already have boosts to this, as well, due to (typically LT) characters with tactics and the like. Plus, while softcap may be "easily attainable," it's not universally (or I'd say even widely) done. It's just that the people who do it talk about it more. 🙂 So this would impact the "normal" player more.
  10. Luna was a gem. Passed in 2017 from cancer, as I recall.
  11. ... should never be able to report someone for *doing what a zone is designed for.* It wouldn't be acceptable to go into a BAF and threaten to report people because they attacked Siege when you asked them not to so you could RP talking to him, it shouldn't be acceptable to report people for attacking players in a clearly designated PVP zone (with nothing required for finishing the game in it.) Regardless. No, I don't support flagging for PVP in open world zones, either.
  12. Speaking of very early COH... (though the video didn't get archived. Blurry version here. )
  13. .... related, I had several Mew Mystics. Pretty sure I put them all in the Consortium of Alchemical Theologians.
  14. All right, so: Feliney Assault - remake of my first redside 50, energy brute. (Might reroll to go back to energy/energy.) Yes, catgirl. Feliney Mischief - her more grey partner in ... well, not necessarily crime. Shennanigans. Fel Lynn - will probably go redside. Lava Flo - Bio armor just looked like, colored correctly, it could be a ... well, see the name. Sweet Child of Mimes - as mentioned earlier. Psi stalker. Necro Ophelia - from Ye Olde Undead Shakespearean Companie. Louisville Slaughter - Mace brute. Yes, she has a baseball-team-ish outfit. Shock and Ow - yeah, electric affinity brought out a lot of these names, didn't it. Cat Anna - Guess her powerset! And her look! Polly Trauma - Nurse. Used to dealing with severe cases. Super Sand Witch - Honestly, I should have made one of her powersets fire, so she could ask if you wanted fries with that. (Dark armor, colored as sand, plus water blast.) Hellion Keller - Blind former gang member. Hot Purrsuit - yes, she was a cop where she came from. And the newest... Devilsewn. (Bet you didn't know some demons had a thing for needlework...) Edit - Nearly forgot one of my favourites - Emily Post Mortem. Trying to help others understand that there are respectful and polite ways to interact with the dead, and some that are just *rude.*
  15. ... are you arguing for or against that? 🙂
  16. The Architect is a little confusing, yes. And a little buggy. And sometimes surprising. Coloring text - highlight the text, right click. All in a menu. (As well as bold, italic, etc.) Also, as far as bosses (or anything else) and where they appear - some maps, as I recall, don't actually *have* a front/middle/back, even though you can pick them. Outdoor ones are notorious for this. Way, way, waaaaay back in the day (like when AE launched) I created a series of guides for it.They're likely woefully out of date now but the basics should still hold up. You should also look at the pinned tips and tricks bit in this forum.
  17. Eh. If people are, for whatever reason, worried about putting it in the P2W vendor, how about a macro-able command. /clearsalvage *type* /clearsalvage common clears the white, /clearsalvage invention clears all invention salvage, /clearsalvage incarnate clears incarnate salvage, etc. /clearsalvage on its own does nothing but give a help text in chat. I'd think: /clearsalvage - parameters common, uncommon, rare, invention, incarnate, special, event, legacy, all ... no, I don't know who would use "clearsalvage all" and nuke all their salvage, merits, incarnate stuff, etc. but hey, it's there. Don't forget the warning this is not reversable and GMs cannot help recover salvage. Similarly, /sellsalvage (type/name) amount price, so /sellsalvage boresight all 10 lists all boresights at 10 inf. /sellsalvage common all 1 just dumps all common salvage at 1 inf.
  18. Two things on that - first, the filter as it is is pretty goofy, as I recall. (I tend to turn it off. Not least because of odd choices for what was or was not in it.) Second... I don't think I've seen anyone get in trouble for circumventing it. Maybe as part of a larger overall issue with someone's behaviour. Eh. I'd be fine with "it can read this external text file and add it to the filter." I just think the people adding things would find it ... pretty quickly useless as people come up with new and exciting ways to say the same thing. (Not to mention that people come up with ... creative spellings, even if they don't mean to.)
  19. Wasn't sure if I was more amused or annoyed at this tonight: - Person on an MSR complaining a tank (who is herding rikti to the bowl) is leaving the bowl. - Person passive/aggressively complaining they got stunned or killed for following said tank.
  20. I honestly don't think we can ever "run out of salvage" unless everyone but one person leaves, they buy all of it, vendor it, and never play anything again. Salvage is continuously generated. Just play the game, hit things. Play AE, get tickets, get salvage of the rarity you want there for tickets. Lift a rock, get salvage.
  21. You should be reaching out to the GMs here in PMs if there's an issue, generally.
  22. I just remove General, so I miss most of that. Well, miss as in don't see, not feel longing for.
  23. An exploit was patched. This does not affect the effectiveness of builds.
  24. But knockback is useless! ... especially when melee goes chasing after the specific enemy I'm knocking away for a specific reason.
  25. Seconding this. What are you running at? It's one thing if you're saying "My car can't keep up on the freeway." It's another thing if you try to run your minivan through a Nascar race. 🙂
