  1. On the Weird stuff giving negative status protection, Super Reflexes Evasion on Tank (AoE defense toggle, taunt aura too) gives -4 taunt status protection.

You can now buy attuned enhancements on the Market, or create them yourself using Catalysts. There's lots of info in this guide on making money, but it actually covers a lot about the Market and IOs that would be good to know, too.

  4. I'd suggest a Memtest86 test for a few loops. Bad RAM can cause weird random crashes like that.
  5. Phalanx Fighting gives 5% (unenhanceable) defense to M/R/A. It then gives 3% (enhanceable) per teammate (max 3) within 8' of you. Generally, only count on the 5% and use the 1 slot as a mule (LotG, Kismet, Shield Wall, Reactive Def).
  6. Spin (tank) does more AoE dps than FSC+Comb over time. It's pretty insane damage. It does cost more End per second doing it, though.

  11. That does look solid. The accuracy on Lightning Clap is too low to waste the End on. I'd consider replacing that with Build Up with the Gaussian's proc in it.
  12. Back in the day, my Elec/DM did the late-game missions versus the Arachnoids on +4/x8 at 0% Toxic resist and ~25% defense to all. I had to pop a medium purple every spawn to survive. Their primary toxic attack is ranged (venom barb), so the norm of building for melee doesn't help much against them. I think just having ~40% Toxic resist would be adequate, even in toxic heavy environments like that. Here is an example I threw together that I have contemplated on occasion to replace that old Elec/DM. I'm still waiting for the rest of the /DM fixes before I decide on it.

  17. Ah, I see what I did. I had changed Mind Link to Scale 1.0 to get it to be 10% instead of 14.28. Then, I did a bleeding edge update and forgot to change it back. Zed, open a Fortunata in the planner. You'll see it showing 14.28% to all instead of 10% to all. I just checked it with the current bleeding edge.
  18. Options -> Configuration Effects & Math (2nd tab) -> Suppression (box with lots of things in it) Check the box marked "Attacked", click OK. You are now "in combat" and the MP numbers should be correct. To fix the Mind Link number: Options->Advanced->Database Editor->Main Database Editor->Teamwork->Fortunata Teamwork->FRT_Mind_Link (double click or click Edit) Effects Tab (3rd tab), for each of the Defense categories, double click it or click edit, change scale to 1.428 and magnitude to 1.0 (the field above it should end up showing 10%, I don't remember which I had to edit, should only be either scale or mag), click Ok. Once you have done that for all defense categories, click OK, Save & Close, Close. If you had a Fortunata build open, close and re-open it. The ML number should now be correct.
  19. WAI. As long as they are the same set, in the same power, both attuned and not work together. The level(s) you lose set bonuses at will vary. The first 2 bonuses will go down to minimum set level -3. The 3rd bonus (from slotting 4) will drop at the more than -3 of the level of the one unattuned IO. Edit: You may be thinking of Winter IOs and ATOs. The normal and superior versions of those don't mix.
  20. The Mids code is old and not at all simple. What that would require would almost certainly be a literal complete recoding of the App. It isn't going to happen. There is at least one new App in development. Maybe it will allow that.

  22. I'd take it a step further, frankly. Make the pet last for 5-10 seconds and pulse the buff, instead of just the case time. Even if they stand in it the whole time, at worst they are getting 5-10 seconds extra on the buff.
  23. You'd be better off posting in the Help & Support section, as those who know how to help are far more likely to see this in that forum than in a very old patch note thread.
  24. I took Bill Z's SR/Claws build and rebuilt it using my SR/Fire build as the base, which is more all-around survival focused. I'll attach it below. I have less recharge, so the ST chain goes from FU-Focus-Slash to FU-Swipe-Focus-Slash-Swipe. For AoE, you can drop both Swipes for one Spin. I could rebuild my SR/Fire for ~+30-40 ST DPS and more AoE DPS (albeit smaller diameter) by redoing it as SR/Claws. *sigh* *argh* Then again, my SR/Fire is net End positive even going full out AoE and the Claws would lose ~0.6 end/sec.
